Overman Zappa (23:14:10): Always suddenly. How often do we get advance warning that stuff is about to "go down". Being a professional, Mio doesn't flinch
Drascin (23:14:25): Pit raises his head
Mister Giggles (23:14:31): Casshern frowns. Great. So much for a normal day. ... is there such thing as a normal day in this world?
tengusaur (23:14:35): Dan: "And it seems that multiple heat sources are appearing around it. Yup, definitely multiple ones."
Alan Bunting (23:14:45): Simon starts freaking out slightly. "That doesn't sound good...!"
Tenebrae Luna (23:14:50): Momo gets up, breaking away from her daily exercise to get ready to launch.
EricOverbringer (23:14:55): Not being a professional, Kamina is taken be surprise.
Drascin (23:14:56): Pit: An Underworld attack?
Palutena: Seems likely. Come on, Pit!
EricOverbringer (23:14:59): "What the!?"
Camiu (23:15:15): Setsuna frowns. This was never a good sign. [Into 00 we go!]
Drascin (23:15:21): And Pit is starting to run for the hangarand Cherubot by the time everyone is still being surprised
aldo salt (23:16:04): Matthew pauses in his explanation of Zelbrigen: "Imagine that this nutrition bar is Honor…the Stravag?"
tengusaur (23:16:24): Ayame: "The anomaly is not too far away from here. All pilots get ready! If those creatures are the same as before, we'll make sure they don't leave the nearby area."
Drascin (23:16:33): (in the meantime, Palutena is already focusing her powers on the area to see what she can find)
Alan Bunting (23:16:56): Simon: "Y-yeah! I guess we'd better get out there, huh, Bro?"
Mister Giggles (23:17:10): Casshern sends a quick message to Ayame to get the restraining bolt ready. Here we go again... he's sure looking forward to yet another nightmare about Luna, too.
tengusaur (23:17:19): Well, it's a portal to the Underworld, alright. Leading straight to a pretty familiar place, in fact... Medusa's fortress.
EricOverbringer (23:17:35): Kamina: "Yeah! Go get 'em Simon!"
Overman Zappa (23:17:38): Mio goes for the strikers. The left one sputters a bit, then ,gets rolling plain as day
EricOverbringer (23:17:42): He's going to go get them too, though
tengusaur (23:17:48): To cross it you need a key, of course... But didn't Pit get something like that last time?
Camiu (23:17:58): Setsuna: Pit, do you know what to do?
tengusaur (23:18:10): And yes, lots and lots of Underworld troopers are moving out of the portal.
Tenebrae Luna (23:18:15): Momo jumps into Nocturne and places a hand on it and smiles. "Let's go Nocturne." Nocturne's gears move in agreement before launching.
aldo salt (23:18:17): And Matthew too! He rips off his fatigues to reveal shorts and and cooling vest.
tengusaur (23:18:23): This is what Palutena can divine, and what others should be able to see soon enough on their own.
Drascin (23:18:39): Pit: "Whoa, seriously? It's like she's asking us to kick her butt!" Pit sounds surprised
Palutena: "Get Thanatos's key ready to open that portal when we deal with these, Pit!"
tengusaur (23:19:02): Ayame: "You have the ability to go there?"
EricOverbringer (23:19:03): Kamina: "Who the heck are these guys?"
tengusaur (23:19:11): Ayame: "That makes the matters much simpler."
aldo salt (23:19:19): Matthew: "Enough talk then! I shall show you what Zelibrigen is…in the field of combat! Let us go, Demon Leader Kamina!" *Runs for the Nova*
Alan Bunting (23:19:30): Simon shoves the Core Drill into Lagann and gives it a twist as he gets everything started up, getting ready to deploy.
Drascin (23:19:49): Pit: "What did you think that thing we got out of Thanatos was?"
Palutena: "Yes, it's a key. It'll turn the one direction portal into a two way"
Camiu (23:20:02): Setsuna: Mission plan is to clear a path, then?

Drascin (23:20:31): Pit is already taking off in Cherubot. "Sounds easy enough!"
aldo salt (23:21:02): Matthew: "Aff. Orders Received." He revs up the throttle and moves the Nova out of the hanger.
Camiu (23:21:05): Setsuna: Understood. 00 Gundam, commencing armed intervention. [Off he goes!]
Drascin (23:21:36): Pit: "Come on, guys! Follow me!"
Palutena: "And get ready for a welcoming commitee. Medusa still has soe lieutenants active"
Overman Zappa (23:21:50): "Major Sakamoto, I'm taking off."

tengusaur (23:22:10): It's large and purplish, floating in mid-air, with enemies continuously moving out of it.

aldo salt (23:23:30): Matthew eyes Simon's Lagann from his Nova's cockpit. He opens a comm channel. "Mechwarrior Simon…is everything nominal?"

Drascin (23:23:57): Palutena: "Just Skuttlers? in the attack, without even suits? This is so clearly a trap"
Pit: "Well, some traps are meant to be broken! HYAAAAAAAAA!"

tengusaur (23:25:23): Dan: "The White Chalice has no armanents of its own. Are you joking, sir?"
aldo salt (23:25:31): Matthew's Nova follows behind.

aldo salt (23:25:42): Behind the crazy dude with shades.
Alan Bunting (23:26:03): Lagann's running after Cherubot, moving through the enemies without much care, but clearly nervous. "Yeah, everything's fine, Matthew." At least, that's what he's assuming that meant...
Drascin (23:26:04): Palutena: "That man reminds me so much of Phyrron..."
Drascin (23:26:23): (Palutena is kind of facepalming at Smith)
Tenebrae Luna (23:26:43): Momo flies up and creates a orb of energy which starts to fire energy blasts at a rapid pace to rip through the enemies.+

tengusaur (23:26:58): Some of the Skuttlers are firing bazookas at you as you fly past, but they're small, so how much damage can they do?
tengusaur (23:27:23): More importantly, you throw them around like bowling pins as you rush towards the portal and enter it!
aldo salt (23:27:27): Matthew looks over his shoulder at Simon's…tiny, tiny Mech. It reminds him of an elemental actually. "I believe there are some handles mounted on my mech. You can ride on me if you wish."

EricOverbringer (23:28:18): A man's duty is clear, when it comes to mysterious holes
Overman Zappa (23:28:32): One would think Matthew would be more interested in the woman with only engines on her legs, and nothing more to protect her.
tengusaur (23:28:46): Underworld, in all of its glory. A dead wasteland, mostly grey and purple in its tone, with a giant, evil black fortress right in front of you. In fact, you're on its courtyard, surrounded by statues of various monsters. What a cheerful place!
aldo salt (23:29:32): A woman? A flying woman with engines on her legs? Matthew blinks as he notices her flying about. He needs a moment to process.
Alan Bunting (23:29:43): Indeed it is, Bro. "I-I'll be fine. It'll be better if I'm running for this. But thanks."
Drascin (23:29:45): Pit: "Nice decor"
Palutena: "Medusa never was too good with interior design"
aldo salt (23:29:54): And then a moment to process the underworld that he is running into.
tengusaur (23:30:15): You see movement all around you!
EricOverbringer (23:30:15): Kamina: "What a shithole."
aldo salt (23:30:33): "Understood." Matthew replies. He grins. "It falls to us to liven this 'shithole' up, quiaff?"
tengusaur (23:30:48): Enemies resembling flying statues the size of small mecha appear from behind the actual statues! Each one is surrounded by several floating eyes.
Mister Giggles (23:30:48): Casshern already knows which targets he's going for. Those Skuttlers, with those big, bullseye-like eyeballs and squishy underbodies, are just begging for him.

aldo salt (23:34:12): "Aff!" Matthew replies to Pit. He opens his comm channel wide. "I am Mechwarrior Matthew, warrior of the Gurren Brigade! We bring with us all the forces you see here! What do you bid in response?"
EricOverbringer (23:34:57): Kamina looks around at the horde of monsters, "I don't think they really care about numbers, dude."
tengusaur (23:34:57): Pandora: "On the other hand falling into a simple trap like this is very much like you. Heroes aren't usually very smart, huh?"
tengusaur (23:35:09): Pandora: "Bid? What game did that guy come from?"
aldo salt (23:35:47): "The game of Honorable combat!" Matthew replies to Pandora, hoping to showcase how totally awesome Zelbrigen is.
Camiu (23:36:28): Setsuna: *Proceeds to ignore him* Palutena. Can you give us parameters on the enemies?
Drascin (23:36:34): Pit: "I don't need smarts to beat YOU, Pandora!"
tengusaur (23:36:41): Pandora: "Sounds pretty lame to me. It's probably on some obscure console nobody ever heard of."
Drascin (23:37:32): Palutena: "...you're not helping, Pit. Anyway, the trap was so half-assed we fell on it mostly out of pity, really. Come on, Goddess of calamity, you can do better"

Pit: Unless you want Exia to become an eggplantdon't let their magic hit you!

Camiu (23:42:45): Setsuna: [Is having trouble conceiving an Eggplant Exia. bbl for retorts]
Drascin (23:42:57): Palutena: "It's like a long, purple vegetable. Don't ask me why eggplants. I think Medusa just likes eating people turned into eggplant"
aldo salt (23:43:20): "They are a variety of vegetable, rich in various nutrients, Trothkin." Matthew explains, hands gripping his controls tightly.
EricOverbringer (23:43:47): Kamina: "Whatever. So we just need to deal with the purple guys before they can do it."
tengusaur (23:43:54): Suddenly, just when the arrows are about to hit her, Pandora is surrounded by a whirl of shadow energy and switches places with one of the Skuttler suits! The suit is damaged by the light projectiles...
Overman Zappa (23:43:57): *Eggplant wizards, huh? Well then, that seems like an ideal target for a WITCH! Taking aim with her machine gun, she zips in, dispensing much product into the Wizard, guaging his defences against aircraft-grade bullets

aldo salt (23:45:02): "Aff, Demon leader Kamina!" Matthew responds crisply, targeting the purple guys.
tengusaur (23:45:04): Pandora: "I bet you didn't see that coming!" She spews out a torrent of flame, and sends it flying towards Cherubot! (react)
tengusaur (23:45:57): The Eggplant Wizard looks towards Mio and sends a barrage of several magical eggplant missiles into her direction! Most of them get hit by the bullets and splattered, but one is still heading her way! (react)
tengusaur (23:46:17): The Wizard itself is damaged by the bullets, though, sending eggplant juice flying around.

Drascin (23:47:15): *Pit dodges as he raises Cherubot's orichalcum wrecking ball and spins it, dissipating the flames before they can do more than lick him+ "You're gonna need better, Pandora! I took you down once and I will do so again!"
Alan Bunting (23:47:26): Simon: "Eh? I-I mean, sure, let's do it Bro!"
Camiu (23:47:27): *Beam rounds are fired at the remaining projectile while a shot from the other rifle in hand is aimed at the Eggplant wiard who fired at her+
EricOverbringer (23:47:40): "That's right! MANLY CANNONBALL ATTACK!"
aldo salt (23:47:45): Matthew: "Leader Kamina–"
EricOverbringer (23:47:54): Kamina winds up like a he was pitching a baseball and lets fly with the tiny Gunmen at the one eyed wizard!+
aldo salt (23:47:55): He stares at this in awe.
Camiu (23:48:32): Setsuna: ... [there are no words. What...?]
Overman Zappa (23:48:56): Mio: "Firing food... it's almost difficult to take that seriously." However Kamina's movement is totally within reason.
Alan Bunting (23:48:57): *Simon turns his scream of terror into a scream of manly spirit, flipping and deploying the drill on the bottom of the suit!+
aldo salt (23:48:58): "Glorious…" Matthew whispers.
Drascin (23:49:31): Pit is too busy taking aim at Pandora to notice. For this Palutena is thankful, or he'd probably want to try it with Centurions sometime.
tengusaur (23:49:56): Setsuna's beam burns the eggplant in mid-air, but when he's about to shoot at the other one, two of the Skuttlers get in the way of the beam! Their armor is burnt by it, but it's also thick, so they're still standing.
Tenebrae Luna (23:50:07): Momo facepalms. "I...Don't even know how to react to that..."
tengusaur (23:50:37): And now, the two Skuttler Suits fire beams of their own at Setsuna from their central eyes, supported by smaller plasma balls fired by their Monoeyes! (react)
tengusaur (23:51:22): The double attack of Simon and Kamina is highly successful, splattering one of the Eggplant Wizards, after which its remains simply explode into darkness!
tengusaur (23:51:45): But the other one jumps back, leaving an eggplant on its way - right in Simon's trajectory! And it also throws another eggplant at Kamina! (you two react)
tengusaur (23:51:50): (Casshern, Matthew, Momo)
Camiu (23:52:30): *Setsuna responds by timing his mid-air 360 turn so the beams pass by him, firing back at the offenders at the same time!+
Alan Bunting (23:53:24): *"Did you see, Bro? I got- ack!" Thinking fast, Simon fires the drill up at high speed, hoping to suck himself down toward the ground and out of the way.+
EricOverbringer (23:53:34): *Kamina leans out of the way, unintentionally imitating a certain ancient movie star in a movie about reality being a computer simulated dreamworld!+
Tenebrae Luna (23:53:56): "Well, if this is just one big food fight, I suppose I'll make some fried eggplant." Momo has Nocturne teleport behind the farthest Eggplant Wizard and fires a powerful blast of energy point blank at it.+
tengusaur (23:54:57): A few of the beams graze 00, but other than that Setsuna is mostly fine. And his maneuver is successful, making the enemies blow up one of the Skuttler Suits and a few of the Monoeyes!
tengusaur (23:55:27): Simon manages to dig into the ground right next to the eggplant, which is just sitting there now, ominously.
Mister Giggles (23:55:49): *Obviously, some of those robots are best left to the larger mechs. Those Skuttlers, though? They might as well have big neon lights on them that says 'Casshern, attack this!' on them. Seriously, they were made for someone like him. Casshern takes off at his usual break-neck speed, charging right into a nice large cluster of them. Casshern's going to be playing crowd control in this mission.&
tengusaur (23:55:59): Kamina, on the other hand, dodges, but... It's not enough! The eggplant grazes Gurren, and suddenly the robot poofs and is turned into a giant eggplant on two legs!
Camiu (23:56:32): Setsuna: !!! [Well shit] Kamina, are you alright in there?
EricOverbringer (23:57:05): (An eggplant with a cockpit and a comm system?)

tengusaur (23:57:18): (they're also made from eggplant)
Tenebrae Luna (23:57:25): Momo's jaw drops to the floor. "How...?! What...?! I don't even...! Ahhhh!!!!" She throws her hands up in confusion.
tengusaur (23:57:30): As Casshern charges at the Skuttler Suits, he sees that they have an opening at the back, where the flesh of their Skuttler pilots can be seen! But before he can take advantage of that, a swarm of watchful Monoeyes shoots energy balls at them! (react/continue)
aldo salt (23:57:31): Matthew: "Demon Leader Kamina!!!!!!!!!!"
EricOverbringer (23:57:32): Kamina: "OF COURSE I'M NOT FREAKIN' ALL RIGHT!"
EricOverbringer (23:57:52): "YOU BASTARDS ARE GONNA PAY FOR MESSING WITH MY GURREN!"
EricOverbringer (23:58:00): "Please tell me this wears off"
aldo salt (23:58:14): Matthew sighs in relief. "I shall help you make them pay…Invincible Kamina!"
Alan Bunting (23:58:16): Simon happens to be underground, so he emerges next to Kamina... and finds only an eggplant. "Bro!"
tengusaur (23:58:44): Seeing Momo suddenly appear behind him, the Eggplant Wizard turns around, to smash his staff into her! The staff has an eggplant on its end! If you press on, you might take him down here and now, but at what cost? (react)
Tenebrae Luna (23:58:50): Momo: Look at the bright side? At least you didn't turn into a talking eggpla... Nope, can't even say it. It's just to weird.
Overman Zappa (23:58:55): Mio: "That is... absolutely absurd. No, surely the most absurd thing I've ever seen." Facepalme
Drascin (23:59:17): Pit: Not really unless you find an hospital. I spend to much time in an hospital first time I fought these guys"
Palutena: "O ye of little faith. That time you were alone, but this time I'm here. It'll take a moment but I can uneggplant him"

aldo salt (00:00:22): Matthew: "Do not worry, Simon! Kamina is alright…if somewhat humiliated."
Mister Giggles (00:00:36): *Casshern, undeterred, will use a series of flash-steps to try to avoid those energy beams, but otherwise remain on his chosen target. If he doesn't get hit, he's still headed right for the back of one of those skuttler suits, his hand aiming right for the back of one of the pilots' necks.

Tenebrae Luna (00:01:05): Nocturne's eye opens to create a powerful shock wave to knock away the attack and damage the Eggplant Wizard. She then backs off to try and gain some distance.+
Camiu (00:01:06): *Setsuna learned from last time, he's just gonna keep shooting at the eggplant wizard as he zigzags his way towards it to minimize other enemies taking the heat for it.+

tengusaur (00:03:40): Casshern's maneuver is successful, and he reaches the fleshy creature inside the Skuzzler Suit's back! The Skuttler flails a little bit, but getting hit once was enough to make it blow up, and the suit to fall down to the ground.
Tenebrae Luna (00:03:55): Momo looks at what just happened and starts to shake. She was confused but now, she is just angry. "How dare you do this to Nocturne?!"

Drascin (00:09:21): Pit: I'll take care of Pandora, guys! And indeed, Pit runs in to Pandora, shooting at her and blocking her from the others "It's ME you have to face today, Pandora! Come here!" And as he reaches her, suddenly he does a swerve and half circles around her skidding with Cherubot, before unleashing a torrent of god-shredding light from his cannon straight at the flame's back!+

Being a tiny, agile target, Mio does her best to dodge between the blasts while trying to keep them as clear in her sighs as she can. But soon she drops her gun at her side and brings her sword out. Swinging the blade, it starts glowing mid-swing, projecting a big wave of bladed magic "REPPU! ZAN!"

Drascin (00:23:54): And so, with Kamina finally standing still for a freaking second, Palutena finally manages to aim her anti-eggplant spell, returning Gurren to its normal shape. "There you go! Now you're properly ugly again!"

aldo salt (00:24:28): Matthew tries to twist his mech around to face the new foe. "Unknown warrior, whoever you may be…if you be honorable, then do not attack while the great Demon Leader is so…." And then Gurren pops back. "Never mind."

Alan Bunting (00:24:39): Simon lets out a breath. "Bro, you're okay... but we still have this guy here... I don't know if we can take him..."
tengusaur (00:25:00): One of the energy blasts hits against Mio's magic shield, but doesn't penetrate it. And her counterattack destroys the shield of one of the Shildeens, while the other one was already damaged by friendly fire, so... One of the Zurrets is cut in two!
EricOverbringer (00:25:08): Kamina: "We've got this! C'mon Simon!"

"I presume you will not abide by the Code of Zelbrigen, quiaff?!?!" He shouts, targeting Viral, and opening fire with a group burst of Medium lasers at the white Mech's sword arm.

Mister Giggles (00:33:19): *Somehow Casshern hasn't gone berserk yet. So, he'll make a beeline for another Scuttler Suit, this time one of the damaged ones, just to get them out of the battle. Dashing towards another one straight at the front, aided by his rocket boosters mounted at his hips, he'll flash step just before reaching it. He'll then reappear above the Scuttler Suit, and perform a back-flip-kick aimed right at its back on his way back down to the ground.+
tengusaur (00:33:21): "What the...?!" The drill coming from under Viral manages to throw him off-balance enough for Kamina's punch to push Enki away. But not much more than that, the bastard is damn tough! He regains his control enough to parry Setsuna's strike with one sword, and summon a blast shield in the other to protect against the lasers!
Drascin (00:33:42): Palutena: "Actually I read some of the books of the clanners. It's all very interesting, if a bit silly, you know" Palutena answers Kamina
aldo salt (00:33:45): Matthew: "It is not that complicated if people would just listen to my explanations!!!" He replies to Kamina.
Camiu (00:33:58): Setsuna: A shield? what kind of unit is this?
Tenebrae Luna (00:34:09): Momo reaches out and summons her Shadow TACT, a smile that promises pain still on her face as a massive amount of energy appears at its' tip. "Shadow...Forte WAAAVE!!!!" A flower with blood red petals and a pitch black center fires from Momo's TACT at high speeds towards Pandora. It drills in and pulses as it explodes soon after impact.+

tengusaur (00:34:36): "You call those attacks? Pitiful humans... Taste my beeeaaaam!!" Energy starts to gather in the circle atop of Enki's head, and a huge beam fires from it! It's going to engulf all four attackers! (Kamina, Simon, Setsuna, Matthew, react)

aldo salt (00:37:52): Matthew: "Raggghhh!" *He triggers his jumpjets, sending the Nova flying up into the sky, toggling a set of three medium lasers to impact the Enki's beam crest. For a moment, a declaration, related to attacks somehow, hovers on his lips...

tengusaur (00:38:26): Casshern kicks the Scuttler pilot so heavily it explodes! But then, those creatures have a tendency to do that... But he can't celebrate just yet, because the Monoeyes are now swarming around him, trying to fire energy balls at him from all directions! (react)

He's probably going to get hit, but not without a fight; he attempts to flash step away, while using a jagged piece of metal from the Scuttler he just destroyed as a combat pragmatist's makeshift throwing knife, aimed at one of the Monoeyes.+
Tenebrae Luna (00:40:03): MOmo's eyes widen. "Tch!"
tengusaur (00:40:17): Pandora: "Was taht stolen from somewhere? I'm pretty sure I saw it somewhere." And she suddenly fires a point-blank shadow tornado at Nocturne! (react)
Tenebrae Luna (00:41:35): Momo tries to teleport away from the attack and throws Nocturne's heavier armored wing in front of her to block the attack just in case.+
tengusaur (00:42:07): Pit's opportunity shot manages to throw Viral's aim off a bit, and thanks to that Setsuna and Matthew escape with only light armor burns! But Kamina and Simon, who were right in front of Enki, get it worse, and their units suffer pretty heavy damage...
tengusaur (00:42:44): Pandora: "What's that, Kid Icarus? Sucherpunches like thatus are not very angelicus behaviourus, you know."
Drascin (00:43:27): Pit mostly just looks flabbergasted for a second

tengusaur (00:45:03): The shadow tornado brushes against Momo's front armor, breaking some of it and draining some of Nocturne's energy.

tengusaur (00:45:46): Casshern's thrown knife hits straight into the monoeye of the Monoeye, killing it! But a few of the balls graze him, and one of them hits his leg.

EricOverbringer (00:46:04): that impact slammed his forehead into the front of the cockpit, and he's got blood dripping down his face now, but fuck that it's probably just a concussion

Overman Zappa (00:48:27): *Until Mio can muster the magic for another swing of her magical sword, there's little she can do against the larger targets. However, for the Monoeyes, her sword is just FINE! Flying in, the Major aims to just j-j-j-jam her sword into the mono-eye
Tenebrae Luna (00:48:58): Momo looks at Pit for a bit and reluctantly nods. "Alright. But be careful. I'll come to back you up the second we take care of him."
