tengusaur (01:47:17): You can already see it from this distance, and even feel it - the air, and the ground, are really cold here, almost frozen solid.
tengusaur (01:47:44): And far away from here, you can see... A giant, floating fortress, made from huge chunks of crystal and ice.
Wyverncakes (01:48:03): Jeremy's standing out there, taking the sight in.
Wyverncakes (01:48:17): And no, he's not just standing out there and being Mr. Shirtless Scene like usual.
tengusaur (01:48:18): It's not hard to notice that the freeze is spreading from the railroad tracks on the ground. And since it's Siberia, there's quite a lot of those.
Wyverncakes (01:48:20): He's got some coffee.
aldo salt (01:48:21): Matthew is doing so too!
aldo salt (01:48:39): Bundled up in a big fur coat with his short-shorts and vest undeneath.

aldo salt (01:50:01): "Aff!" Matthew agrees. "We must do something to disrupt it's advantages. Weapons with a high heat signature, flame rounds..."
Mister Giggles (01:50:12): Char's currently keeping thermal scans up. If anything's out here, he'll see it.
Mister Giggles (01:50:27): Well, between that and the Newtype senses.

Alessandra shakes her arms angrily, trying to motivate everyone and not being too successful at it. She has a fabulous fur coat on, not that you can see it because she's pilotting already.

tengusaur (01:53:11): Ayame: "Thanks to the information provided by Werter and Kamille, we knew where to look for the Overdevil. It's located straight in the middle of the frost, being spread through the artificial muscles in the Siberian Railroad's rails."
HyprKnux 1 (01:53:13): Kouji: "Ha! You have nothing to worry about with heat! Mazinkaiser's Fire Blaster's more than enough!"
tengusaur (01:53:27): Ayame: "If we won't stop it soon, the freeze will encompass the whole Europe. And then, the world."
aldo salt (01:53:40): "It is time! Let us show this Overdevil the burning passion of our hearts!" Matthew calls out. With a swish, he tosses off his coat and clambers into his Nova.

howmuchineedyou (01:59:03): Adette runs into the hanger last, cussing and pulling on her gloves looking almost as hung over as she feels. She says nothing as she climbs in her over Overman and rushes to launch behind everyone else in the field. "sorry I'm late."
tengusaur (01:59:28): Captain Smith: "Damn, those look like years-old jellies. Destroy them all!"
tengusaur (02:00:04): Werter (cameo): "The rest of our forces will keep them occupied. Strike team, break into the fortress!"

Mister Giggles (02:01:46): Char takes a quick look at the Overmen. The psychoframe pressure is still something he needs to get used to. The Sazabi is fast as hell, but that's... a lot of mooks.
aldo salt (02:01:46): "Forces of the White Chalice! I have something that might prove effective!"
Wyverncakes (02:01:49): Jeremy: "Everyone, stay together! If we break through, they won't be able to go after us without disrupting their lines!"
aldo salt (02:01:51): He snaps his fingers!
Wyverncakes (02:03:11): * And the Leeda Mk. III generates a big, barrier fist that it sends hurtling into the enemy ranks to give everyone an opening!+
howmuchineedyou (02:03:42): Adette is in no mood to play, she pushed her Overman as fast as she can, tearing earth from the ground and holding it before her like a battering shield, ready to smash any Domi in her way with the full strength of the Power Golame.

aldo salt (02:04:24): "Attenborough, fire with all cannons! Show them the power of the Gurren Brigade!"

HyprKnux 1 (02:04:50): Kouji: "AAAAHHH! Let's go, Mazinkaiser!" *With that, the iron beast continues its charge, ramming into whoever is in its way!+

aldo salt (02:06:16): The Dai-Gurren breaks from the main formation, charging across the tundra, main cannons firing wildly, it's bladed prow pointed right at the Ice Fortress…AIMING TO PIERCE THROUGH!

tengusaur (02:08:32): The beams and machinegun fire, followed by really powerful melee attack, create a huge gap in the enemy army!
tengusaur (02:09:01): And then, the Dai Gurren smashes right into the fortress' side, sending gigantic pieces of crystal flying around and shattering into tiny shards!
tengusaur (02:09:15): It made a hole in the wall!
Mister Giggles (02:09:18): Char: "Excellent... don't give them a chance to regroup."
tengusaur (02:09:36): The battle around you rages on as the rest of your allies fight the massive army!

aldo salt (02:10:02): "This…" Matthew mutters. "This! THIS is the power of the Gurren Brigade!" He triggers the Nova Messenger's jets and Roombas forward…just like a Dom!

tengusaur (02:14:42): Light reflects and flickers off everything, dancing beautifully.
tengusaur (02:14:57): This place is awe-inspiring, yet also eerie, cold and lifeless...
tengusaur (02:15:22): There are many arches and passages leading to what might be side rooms, one of which you smashed through.
tengusaur (02:15:36): But it doesn't matter much, because your goal is right here.

Mister Giggles (02:19:24): Char: "Freezing the planet... why would anyone want to do that?"
tengusaur (02:19:40): Both Gainer's and Cynthia's voices have an unearthly chill to their sound.
tengusaur (02:19:56): And their skin has a weird, bluish color...
aldo salt (02:20:01): "Aff! There is no gain in it! No honor or joy!" Matthew snarls.
tengusaur (02:20:13): In fact, Cynthia herself is sticking out of the Overdevil's open cockpit! She's frozen over with ice!

macprysm (02:20:50): Cynthia: Oh, Char, don't you see? When everything is frozen, everyone will be beautiful. clean, and serene, just like this Crystal of Agate. As a bonus, the way will be clear for the victory of all spacenoids, so why are you even here?"

howmuchineedyou (02:20:52): "Gainer! Cynthia!" Adette is at a loss for words. "I'll kill them for doing this to you!!"
aldo salt (02:21:21): "Puppets? What kinds of machine is this Overdevil, that it could do this?"
Mister Giggles (02:21:31): "Cynthia..." He's extremely disturbed. "No victory is worth what happened to you."
Wyverncakes (02:21:40): Jeremy's eyes grow steely.
Wyverncakes (02:21:54): "Ridiculous logic, just like any other megalomaniac."

macprysm (02:22:41): Cynthia giggles...a cold, hollow laugh, an ice smile. "No need to worry. Once the Overdevil accepts you, you'll realize the true beauty of a frozen world. Isn't that right, King Gainer?
howmuchineedyou (02:22:48): "Gainer, you made me a promise and I intend to make you fulfill it! You hear me?!" The least she could do was try to appeal to the real Gainer, under that cold ice.
tengusaur (02:24:23): ???: "Fruitless! Do you think you can break the true power of the Overdevil with mere words?"
Overman Zappa (02:24:25): Gainer: Promises? Puppets? You act as if this wasn't the natrual path of things.

tengusaur (02:24:46): You can see, in one of the higher arches, a small, human-sized figure.
Wyverncakes (02:24:48): Jeremy keeps his guard tight, but he still looks above for this newcomer!
aldo salt (02:24:50): "Technically, this is not a natural path." Matthew replies.
Overman Zappa (02:24:55): Gainer: "Leaving me behind. Leaving me out. Leaving my feelings unrequitted. You honestly didn't see this coming? You were just using me as a pilot for King Gainer."

Mister Giggles (02:28:03): Char: "Enough talk. If the world is going to freeze, it won't be at the hands of this monstrosity."
tengusaur (02:28:24): Kids: "Maybe, Gainer, but I don't want to control you, unlike your so-called friends. You are free to fulfill your destiny, and I won't stop you. Your, and the Overdevil's!"
HyprKnux 1 (02:28:49): Kouji: "Oh, shut the hell up!"
aldo salt (02:28:51): "Is it, Gainer?" Matthew replies. "What would you–the true you–truly want, deep down in your heart? To freeze the world, to silence the beauty and life of Terra? Really? Does that sound like you?"
Overman Zappa (02:29:54): Gainer: "What would you know, Clanner? You're not even from this planet. DOn't pretend like you care just because you got caught in a captive situation."
Wyverncakes (02:30:12): Jeremy: "Answer his question!"
macprysm (02:30:18): Cynthia gives a cold smirk, a wine glass of ice forming in her hand. "It would appear the peanut gallery grows impatient. The Overdevil's telling me that your words are noisy and unneeded. And so..."

aldo salt (02:31:30): "I do care!" Matthew snaps back. "Perhaps it take one who has never seen Terra with his own eyes to realize it's beauty! The passion, the life, the bravery of it's inhabitants! Do you really want to freeze it over? Answer! Answer me!"

macprysm (02:33:03): Cynthia throws the wine glass at the floor, a pillar of ice erupting where it hits. "Consider this the Final Boss, then! Enough talk. Have at you!" Cynthia's ice-cold body dissapears into the Overdevil's cockpit as the huge overman begins to move!+
Overman Zappa (02:33:39): Gainer: "I do! I'll freeze everything over, then you'll see just how better things are cold and frozen!"
Wyverncakes (02:34:21): Jeremy: "The Earth may have been frozen over before, Gainer... but that era is long in the past!"
Wyverncakes (02:34:41): "As a pilot I'll kep it that way!"
Mister Giggles (02:35:19): Char sinks back into his seat defiantly. "I'm not leaving here without you, Cynthia. I made a promise, and I'm going to keep it." He begins priming the Sazabi's weapons. "The world can freeze some other time, but it's not going to be at the cost of your life."
aldo salt (02:36:24): "I reject your frozen future…and choose instead the future of light and warmth! Of stars kindling in the sky!!!!" Matthew takes aim.
Overman Zappa (02:37:24): The Overdevil spis out some weird arm... jacket thing! Gainer jumps off the Overdevil's hand and into said jacket! And... increases in size to fit INTO it! Gainer's flying!
HyprKnux 1 (02:37:29): Kouji: "Even in the face of a frozen future, you two see this as some sort of game, huh? Time to wake up and smell reality!"
tengusaur (02:37:43): Gainer turns into this weird-looking thing!

aldo salt (02:41:33): "Jets recharged, cooling system optimal…" Matthew nods to himself, and grins as he lays hands on his sticks. "I finished this upgrade at the right time!"
howmuchineedyou (02:41:43): Adette goes for the nearest pillar and tries it rip it free with a mighty roar. "Damn it!" She spins the Power Golem on it's heels and with all her might swings it at the nearest Domi. "I can't beat Gainer on a good day, we've got to take out this trash if we want to stand a chance against both of them at once!"+
Mister Giggles (02:42:32): Char 's had enough of this. This is personal. He's going to save Cynthia one way or another. He begins boosting straight towards the Overdevil, ignoring his usual role of killing mooks. He raises the beam shotrifle, and intentionally aiming for somewhere other than the cockpit, fires mid-boost. &
tengusaur (02:42:48): (Cynthia, react to Char's attack!)
tengusaur (02:43:43): Adette rips the pillar straight out! Her giant swing ends up hitting into a Black Domi that doesn't manage to dodge and smashing it straight into the wall! That's one down. Two more are floating above her, though, morphing their arms into cannons and firing at her! (react)

macprysm (02:44:56): *The Overdevil does what it plans to do for most attacks: Ultrafreezes the air around the rifle, while raising its Photon mats. It lashes back with a long, thin tentacle, tipped with ice!+
Wyverncakes (02:45:04): * "To your right, Adette!" And while Jeremy's calling out to her, his Advent generates a lengthy barrier hand to help shield her from that attack, coming from -sure enough- her right side!+
aldo salt (02:45:26): Matthew pushes forward the throttle. "Beings of frost and snow! Shatter and melt!!!" *The Nova zips forward, radiator fins glowing dull red, and charges at a flock of Domis! Then it jets to the right, and circle-strafes, bombarding them with a salvo of automatic laser fire!+
macprysm (02:45:27): Cynthia: Your bullets can no longer reach me, Red Comet....
tengusaur (02:46:09): Thanks to the combination of the freezing effect and the Photon Mat, the beam rifle shot barely leaves a mark on the Overdevil's armor! And now Char has an icy tentacle coming his way! (react/continue)

tengusaur (02:47:10): Matthew's laser salvo ends up burning one of the Domis completely, and damaging another one that was close! But now two drop down towards him, morphing their arms into long blades and slashing at the Nova! (react)
howmuchineedyou (02:47:20): Adette swoops on his orders, pulling the pillar around again, twisting it till it broke in half, and threw one half of it full force at the Domi on front of her. "Don't expect a big reaction or anything."
HyprKnux 1 (02:47:31): *Icy tentacle? Not on Kouji's watch! Putting Mazinkaiser between the Overdevil and the Sazabi, he's ready to take the tentacle head on, intending on grabbing it. If not, Chogokin Nu-Z Alpha's pretty damn tough!+

Mister Giggles (02:48:13): Char: "Good thing I'm not using bullets."

He fires two lasers on each arm as he slashes!+

He aims at a bunch of stalactites and icicles above it, hoping to knock them loose, and cause them to fall on top of it.

All his lasers fire, the radiators on his mech glowing yellow-orange!+

He doesn't want to break comm silence just yet, but he peeks his mech's arm out of a side passage, waving it so his comrades can see the Clan Wolf insignia on it.
Mister Giggles (03:16:30): Char tries to ignore any possible innuendo with 'merge again,' and attempts to dodge those icicles. Char's dodged far, far worse in a mobile suit.

Wyverncakes (03:25:26): * And Jeremy's advent charges to serve as a shield to block Gainer and Alessandra from that cold wave! But with what, its barriers? SORTA! The entire mech coats itself in a strong layer, one that was very coarse on the most fundamental layer Jeremy could imagine. Enough that even in this cold environment, the air resistance caused by this coarseness causes the Leeda's barrier to catch FIRE! A fire to help protect Alessandra and himself!+
Mister Giggles (03:25:28): Char opens a private channel. "We're inside an ice fortress. We need a lot of really loud noise, and we can cause a cave-in."
aldo salt (03:25:40): "Star Captain Resnick!" Matthew calls out. "This environment is advantageous in many ways!" He starts melting the ice around Mazinkaiser's legs with precise lasers blasts, assuming he doesn't need to wait for a turn to do that.
