Of course, this was a long way from home... but it gave him some idea of what his world might have looked like had he been born a couple of decades earlier. It fascinated him.

tengusaur (01:36:59): Suddenly, the calm day gets interrupted in the worst way possible! Something explodes in the city, not too far away from the square with the statue! There doesn't seem to be any actual damage, but the explosion let out a thick, grey cloud, which slowly starts to spread over the area!

Meraxa (01:37:59): Richard: ...Was that from...? *Richard pauses a moment as gears start turning in his head... and then he drops everything to start running towards the direction of the blast*
VJockey (01:38:15): Cora's eyes bug out at the sound. She's already looking towards the direction of the explosion.

troublefirecat (01:38:34): Rock jumps in surprise and turns towards the explosion, Rush turning to look with his master. "What?!"
tengusaur (01:38:48): Lynn (and anyone else who tries to check the cameras) will see people lying down on the ground near the area of the explosion, curled up in fetal positions. A lot of them are wheezing and spasming, some of them are coughing up blood.
tengusaur (01:39:05): The cloud slowly, but surely, keeps spreading... The people of the city noticed it too.
Wyverncakes (01:39:05): Lynn: "Oh my..."
tengusaur (01:39:16): And they react with panic, escaping from it in all directions!
Wyverncakes (01:39:20): Lynn: "G-get away from that!"
Wyverncakes (01:39:34): As much as Lynn would love to run in and try to help people, that's just suicidal.

Meraxa (01:42:05): Richard: ...Then everybody in that cloud is?! *Richard turns in horror to look towards the smog, himself backing away a bit*

tengusaur (01:42:39): ???: "The first bomb shouldn't claim more victims if you do not approach it. However, there is another, much bigger one hidden in your city, scheduled to blow up soon."
tengusaur (01:43:11): ???: "Everyone is free to look for it. If any of you manage to find and disarm it, your whole city's worth will be proven, and you will live."
VJockey (01:43:26): The Helmet on Cora's suit was already closing up as she heard it.
aldo salt (01:43:27): Isaac: "It is a cloud of grey particles…spreading at the street level….Arthur's blood, what madmen would deploy bio-weapons in this beautiful town?"

aldo salt (01:45:49): "Lady Anderson!" Isaac declares. "I am moving to help search for the second bomb!" He hops down and takes off. He won't think to fetch his Dullahan armor unless someone reminds him….
VJockey (01:46:11): "Chips! I need you to find a way to tap into citywide maps, cameras! Everything they've got! Give us updates as much as you can! Appletree! Meet Scythe at the rally point, she's got your armor!"
cubey@aol.pl (01:46:13): Instead, what looked like a giant stone statue in a different part of the city, atop a large building, suddenly spreads its wings and takes off - it's not flying, but rather running through the air, quickly and savagely like a wild beast. "How does a bomb look like?" Texotic asks others.
Wyverncakes (01:46:15): And biting her lip, Lynn nods as she hooks R up to the machine before opening up a channel to everyone else.
Wyverncakes (01:46:23): Lynn: "Everyone... I know who we're dealing with."
tengusaur (01:46:25): Needless to say, the people who heard the announcement react by only further falling into panic and chaos!
troublefirecat (01:46:26): Of course after hearing all this, Rock and Rush start searching for the bomb too.

tengusaur (01:46:46): They are trying to get away as soon as they can!

Wyverncakes (01:47:26): "The scientist behind the Yasakani Veil barrier system!"
tengusaur (01:47:49): The statue cracks, sending pieces of stone flying everywhere! And from inside a small (roughly 4 meters tall) robot erupts, rushing towards the escaping civilians!

aldo salt (01:51:13): Isaac meets up with Scythe, and boots up his Dullahan armor unit. "Lord Isaac Sinclair moving out! Question! Where is the highest point in the city!"
griefgathering (01:52:25): And while Tixati is at work, Neptune is going to help out with evacuating the civvies!
tengusaur (01:52:44): Seeing this attack the machine jumps back, away from Texotic's claws - but also away from the people, who run away in fear!
Wyverncakes (01:53:04): Lynn: "I... I don't know anything about the bioweapon... Takeda never specialized in anything like that."
tengusaur (01:53:35): ???: "What's this? A foolish protector? Those who are weak and cowardly deserve only to be killed."
VJockey (01:53:36): Isaac will find himself getting pinged with text coordinates for a hotel - it was high enough to give a mostly unobstructed view of the city. Chips would also add that Isaac would need to be careful with his trigger finger. Civilians are running all over the place.
Wyverncakes (01:54:17): Lynn: "Those with no intention to fight shoudn't be forced to!"
Overman Zappa (01:54:26): Stupid Civilians! At least, time ago, Sleuth learned how to wall run/ride on stuff so she can mostly avoid trampling people!
tengusaur (01:54:38): The robot extends an arm forward and a small wave of liquid metal suddenly emerges from its back, turning into two lion-like beasts that leap towards Texotic Pilhua! (react)

aldo salt (01:56:26): "Roger!" Isaac gets moving. "Commander, if the terrorists wish to blanket the entire city with their bio weapon, wouldn't they choose the highest point of the city to spread it?"

tengusaur (01:57:20): Texotic manages to cut the beasts apart, though one of them still slashes at her machine. The metal that composes their forms returns back to the robot.

VJockey (02:06:34): *Cora's going to motion to the hole that Oxide made, giving everyone not fighting the Orange Machine of Death the coordinates before fast-roping down with her grappling hook along with her fireteam+
tengusaur (02:07:02): The orange robot notices the incoming fire and dodges - it barely grazes it, and the resulting gash starts to fill with liquid metal already!
aldo salt (02:07:07): Dashing through the streets towards the bomb point, Isaac notices the evil orange machine. "Stravag..."

aldo salt (02:07:19): (Wait, nix that)

tengusaur (02:08:16): The small robot runs quickly towards VeHa, leaping high and hacking at it repeatedly with its arms, which have now reshaped to have long blades at their ends! (react)

tengusaur (02:19:15): The first of Rock's electric shots hits the robot straight-on... And it already starts to regenerate from it like a freakin' cheater! It avoids the rest of the attacks nimbly and takes off to the skies, rushing at him and Rush! It creates a dozen of small metal bits and tries to melee both of them with them - they have sharp surfaces! (react)

Lynn's and Isaac's grenades hit their target, but both the explosive and the acid parts are stopped by the giant robot's suddenly appearing force field! Its armor barely suffers any form of damage!

tengusaur (03:28:58): Typhon creates those two liquid metal beasts again, trying to make them take the brunt of the impact, but he's still zapped by the electricity pretty hard - it doesn't look like it's anything he can renegerate from!
troublefirecat (03:29:25): Rock dashes forward on Rush Jet, charging up a stronger than usual Spark Shock. "Eat this! Spark Shock!"
tengusaur (03:29:33): But each of those creatures is now attacking different targets, one leaping towards Lynn and the other towards Neptune! (react, Lynn continue!)

troublefirecat (03:32:14): Rock dodges the projectiles as deftly as he can, getting ready to attack again, since it looks like it's working.
tengusaur (03:32:30): Lynn blows up the creature (its bits are already flowing towards Typhon, but details), and the next explosion shakes the robot's form, causing actual damage to it - and it doesn't seem to be regenerating for the time being!

aldo salt (03:45:47): "Richarddddddddd!!!!!!" Isaac calls out. He sprints forward, his Dullahan's actuators at full strength. *He pulls out a rocket grenade, arms it manually, and throws it at the feet of the Ascended with all his strength. He shields Richard from the blast with his own body!+
tengusaur (03:46:10): The focused attacks manage to pierce through Ichiryou's barrier, and its armor is damaged by the Mitl and explosions - but that's only for a moment, and then the barrier is up again! Also, the Pilhua is kinda damaged by the explosions and eye beams.

tengusaur (03:48:07): Oxide and Sleuth break through the line of Tunnel Stalkers, reducing them to gibs and bullet-ridden corpses! As they get deeper into the tunnel, they notice something not too far away - an explosive charge connected to a canister of soem kind of chemical, hidden by the wall!
tengusaur (03:49:28): The Ascended tries to slow down both of the strong impact strikes going into its direction with an invisible telekinetic field, but it's still thrown around by them rather hard - more blood emerges from inside of its suit! It's still floating, though, and uses a telekinetic burst to push Isaac back!
Overman Zappa (03:49:32): Sleuth: "I... I found something... Ch... I... I mean... I found it. I'm sure this is it. It's got flashing lights and biohazards and everything..."
aldo salt (03:50:33): "Gah!" Isaac goes stumbling back, righting himself before he falls on Richard.
VJockey (03:51:06): "Good work. Keep Oxide covered - he'll handle the bomb!"
tengusaur (03:51:19): And while Cora is distracted, something tries to take advantage of it... In she shadows behind her one of the Tunnel Stalkers is creeping on the wall. And it suddenly drops towards her, trying to grab her head with its wide, horrible maw! (react)

REVIVAL then fires... off at some random angle above the Ichiryou. Why? Well, armor-piercing rifle that'll tunnel through the ground, triggering an avalanche and everything. Let's see the Ichiryou's barrier handle a damn rockslide!+
