kamikasei (02:23:14): Laura drops the guns she's holding and pulls up a second screen, tapping into Lily's ship's systems. What the hell had that beam been, and was there any clue as to the nature of its origins?

kamikasei (02:23:41): Laura: "Can we cut the power that weapon needs?"
kamikasei (02:23:52): ...Assuming it's even an actual weapon integrated into the ship's systems...

tengusaur (02:27:00): Ayame: "I don't know what's going on, but our main priority is protecting the ship! We can't find out what's going on if we're all blown to pieces!"
sketchbookfiend (02:27:08): Sochie: "Whatever happened we're not just going to sit on our asses and get shot are we?" About this time Loran looses grip on her and the girl runs off...and gets her leg caught in a malfunctioning door. "OH COME ON!"

swedenfc19 (02:28:02): Ranna will get to the Verfolger, strap in, and power it up. "If we are unable to determine the cause of the issue, this ship is as much a liability to non-Warrior caste as our foes before."
sketchbookfiend (02:28:09): Loran removes her from the door and directs her somewhere safe while she grumbles. Once that's done he's going to run for the Hangar and hop on into the Turn A.
tengusaur (02:28:25): His yells are accompanied by shots at the Chalice. The whole ship shakes again.
kamikasei (02:29:02): Laura: "Fuck, fuck, fuck." She grabs a white tarp and ties it to something rigid before heading toward the hangar door, summoning The Great Pretender en route and flying the rest of the distance. If Kamille hasn't already blown a hole in the door by the time she reaches it, she cuts her own and flies out, up and away from the fray so that she can't be interpreted as charging at the KA units, waving a white flag.

aldo salt (02:29:41): "Why would we attack your comrades with the Chalice grounded and all our mechs un-deployed!" Matthew insists. "Why would we start a war in a neutral nation and a city with many civilians in it? Why would we attempt an ambush with all these odds agains us?"

That's where Laura heads, spreading her Sophium cloud into a crystalline barrier as large as she can safely cover with it. She herself stays on the outside of the shield, still holding her flag. It might not actually stop them from firing at her, but it might at least make them feel more doubt for doing so.+

Flying up, she brings the dome she formed as a shield after her, splitting in two and reshaping itself as it rises - before the throws both halves, taking the form of giant axes which lodge themselves between the Brachoses and their targets, acting as shields!+

The torso and head of the machine as well as Texotic should be safe while the limbs would be destroyed by the Dimensional Energy...at least that was his plan. +

She herself hops off to land on the troll's head...+

Sometimes the old, slicey ways are best. And even if she can't quite take it off in one go, she can infuse whatever remains of the blade into the machine's structure to weaken it.+

aldo salt (05:02:14): "I will cut these puppet strings of fate! Go, HEAT FALCONS!" Matthew deploys all of his wire-guided rocket blades. "And…QUAD NOVA INFINITY LOOP!!!!!!!" The Nova dashes forwards towards the beam strings…and with a blast of jumpjet, throws itself into a wild, rotating spin! The Heat Falcon blades, glowing yellow-hot, are spun around in a wild thresher fashion, slicing and dicing wherever they go!+

Aero (05:05:32): * "Now!" The Rushbird now runs towards Anansi and forms another Laplace Wall. This time only around the arm. "I swear Biff you better not have been lying about this!" And he'll plunge the arm into the stomach of Anansi while wrapping the Laplace Wall around what he hoped was the Primeval Force engine before trying to pull it out. +
