Fortunately you've had your hopes crushed before and you've pulled yourself back together after that... and the Ashtanga definitely wasn't expecting you to maneuver like that! Its barrier gets raised a half-second too late... and now it's just floating in space as two halves.
griefgathering (19:33:50): *And with an echo of "Oval Protection!", a decently sized pink barrier will be formed around Nanoha (and Fate if possible) to shield against the fists, but not before Raising Heart consumes the output of a few cartridges to strengthen the defense!+

Two huge green wings sprout from Prometheus' back, and the white robot rushes forward, turning into a zig-zagging flash as it flies from one anti-spiral machine to another, trying to pierce through as many of them as possible! +

macprysm (19:34:59): The Star X-Buster boosts up...and up...and up...it wants to get to the Granzeboma's head, but it's got a ways to go. It flies close to the body as it does so, though, seeing how it tries to avoid its own freindly fire. "STAR CROSSED BLAAAADE!" He'll stab into the machine as he flies, scratching it with his jacknife. as he contiunes upwards.+

macprysm (19:39:55): Yuu: "What the heck...SPACE SPIRAL PLASMA FIELD!" His barrier is up and he's still not stopping, trying to weave and dodge the laser fire. He'll try to hug the Anti Spiral's body as closely as he can for some collateral damage, too!+
Wyverncakes (19:41:22): [Yuu] The Anti-Spiral's just not going to risk the collateral damage, actually. What shots would risk hitting the Granzeboma just veer off harmlessly, but those that don't pelt Star X-Buster's form relentlessly! There's only so much your shield can take from this kind of power (which isn't much), and before long the machine's blown WAAAAAAY high above Zeboma with one of its arms and legs blown off!

Only problem: the ones that were holding onto Prometheus's lance use the opportunity to use that as leverage and smash you into a nearby foot. Yeah, that's going to hurt. Hurt a whole fucking lot.
macprysm (19:44:52): Yuu: "Nnngh! Space spiral cross BREAKER!" The tried and true use of the chest blaster's raw power to boost backwards is used once more to dodge while attacking!+

VJockey (19:45:23): *Well it looks like Sam's fuel cells may take a minor dive... because he's going to stab one half of the massive ship he cut into two, run across the other half and SWING forward! Physics? Sanity? What's that! Sam can't hear you over the power of his sword!!+

Ha... if you squint really, REAAAAAAALLY hard... you can actually see an "X" on the chest of the machine now.

But then it breaks apart into dozens... no, HUNDREDS of them, aimed at Sam, Star Turn A, and Chouginga GL!

The huge ball locks into the Star X-Buster's Space Lariat before swinging through the storm of shadarangs, trying to clear out as many as he can!+
Wyverncakes (19:56:40): [Loran] Unfortunately, Star Turn A's Spiral power isn't exactly much to write home about since it's primarily just a scaled-up Turn A! The top of Star Turn A's head gets cleaved off halfway down, and it loses both its legs at the middle. BUT... it does enough of a job to keep you safe!

But then again, Sam's a very small target and there's only so much that can be coming his way at any given time.

The Star-sized machine...curls up into a ball...and as the X-Buster ejects from it, he latches on with his own Anchor Chain. Then he rushes the head once more, swinging the robot wildly....and flings it at the planet at the top! "METEORIC IMPACT!"+

Wyverncakes (20:05:33): [Werter] Well that's certainly a dickish way to get revenge for the hard knocks you suffered before! And thanks to chunks of the Ashtanga having already been Moonlight Butterfly'd, you get to see a cut-away of just how bad that explosion totals the last remaining battleship!

And once more, the X-Buster jets towards the Grand Zamboa's face! But this time, it's channeling a hammer of light, RIGHT INTO ITS MUG! "MJOLNIR..."

Wyverncakes (21:03:32): The attack finally dissapates, but you can see the damage starting to pile up on Anti-GL, and its drill is actually in tattered ruins and it's forced to make a second quickly.
Wyverncakes (21:03:48): "It is more dangerous than any of your 'Lost Logia'!"
Wyverncakes (21:04:01): (Fate's going to follow-up I assume?)
Wyverncakes (21:04:45): (Werter and Yuu can also act)
kamikasei (21:05:12): *And Fate keeps going - from the last laser to the Anti-Spiral itself, enveloping it in a sharp-toothed hurricane of SWORD!+
tengusaur (21:05:21): * "There's not much point in living without what you call Spiral Power. No advancement, no fun, no helping out other people make their life better. What's the point in that?" Werter creates two Prometheus copies out of plasma and sends them rushing towards the Anti-Gurren Lagann. But this is just a distraction - they can't do much on their own anyway, just run in and burn! The real attack comes from the side! Prometheus suddenly leaps in, fists burning with plasma, and starts punching the enemy rapidly! Each strike leaves a burning green print - but instead of letters, like normal, those are all just various spiral symbols! +

The X-Buster fires off its rocket punch, then dashes off opposite it...he's using the punch for a distraction, while his real attack name, he whispers. "anchor chain." The grappeling hook is aimed for the Anti-Spiral's backside, while the rocket punch goes right for the face!+
Wyverncakes (21:12:27): [Yuu, Fate, and Werter] Already prepping up drills to counter your attacks, Anti-Gurren Lagann swats away X-Buster's punch.. but still gets caught by the grappling hook chain! And struggling to break free, it becomes ground zero for Prometheus's Plasma Hyakuretsuken and Fate's Anti-Spiral In A Blender vid! Anti-GL's head gets fragmented, limbs and shades and fins get cleaved off, the fury rising inside of the Anti-Spiral more and more with each mark of the spiral on its body until-
Wyverncakes (21:12:33): Anti-Spiral: "ENOUGH!"
Wyverncakes (21:12:58): And with a burst of energy and drills the three of you are blown away, X-Buster taking the worst of it on account of the previous damage!
macprysm (21:13:21): Yuu: GAAAAAH! Even X-Buster's at its limit...
Wyverncakes (21:13:23): But contrary to what the Anti-Spiral said previously... it's clear that all IT can do is endure and hold on as it's worn down.
tengusaur (21:13:31): Werter: "Ow! Tch... Prometheus, hold it together..."
Wyverncakes (21:13:41): Anti-Spiral: "Irresponsible... naive... foolish... all of you!"

aldo salt (21:17:33): A voice speaks up suddenly, silent for all this time until now! It's coming–from Gurren Lagann's cockpit!
Overman Zappa (21:18:03): *With it's good arm it produces another drill, turbines on the shoulder swelling with Spiral Power. The drill is narrow and long, like a lance as once again, Simon goes for a decisive punch, aimed better for it's chest than it's face!+

aldo salt (21:19:51): Matthew shakes his head roughly, and grasps the controls of the Gurren! "And if we are all, mighty, as individuals, just as ourselves…then working together with a shared purpose, we can overcome any sorrow and peril!"
aldo salt (21:20:22): He thrusts the controls forward. "So take this, Anti-Spiral! Not just mere Spiral Power…but OUR POWER!!!!"
Wyverncakes (21:20:33): [GL team] You charges towards Anti-Gurren Lagann, but the Anti-Spiral has a drill lance of its own that it thrusts forward in response! Both meeting each other, it's not sure whose will come out on top this time...
Meraxa (21:21:58): Rossiu: Simon! Matthew! GO! *He forcibly releases the Gurren Lagann from Arc Gurren's face, launching it onward past the drill bout!*
Overman Zappa (21:21:59): Simon keeps it steady as he can, so that he can crash through the drill, rather than glance off. "Break through is drill! ROSSIU! MATTHEW!"

Wyverncakes (21:25:02): And once more the Anti-Spiral falters as he suddenly realizes that there's another Gunman inside of Ark-GL.
aldo salt (21:26:47): Gurren Lagann's Drilll multiplies in size…then develops Falcon-Talon's at it's tip that crunch down on the Anti-Spiral's!!!
aldo salt (21:27:02): "DRILLLLLLLLL….BREAKKKKKKK-EEERRRR!!!!"
Wyverncakes (21:27:36): And yeah, it's not the drill on Ark-GL's arm it needed to worry about.
Wyverncakes (21:28:21): It's the one bursting out of its whole damn body.
Wyverncakes (21:28:54): Anti-Gurren Lagann is skewered, the drill tearing it apart one revolution after the next...
Wyverncakes (21:29:15): ... Until it's just the Anti-Spiral itself left, skewered on the drill's edge and slumped over the weapon.
Wyverncakes (21:29:30): Anti-Spiral: "They... universe..."

Wyverncakes (21:30:12): The black entity weakly tries to reach up before its arm goes limp, it's body starting to fade away.
