tengusaur (01:38:48): A group of Green Storm soldiers and stalkers was sent to infiltrate the base, evaluate the potential danger threat, and take action if necessary.
tengusaur (01:38:56): White Chalice sent help.
tengusaur (01:40:10): Just a few units, too much would defeat the point of a stealth mission. Besides, the mobile cities has been acting suspicious recently, the giant robots are needed in case some of them pull off something.

But if Stalker Fang's there, they're gonna need a Surgeon-Mechanic, and this is ultimately her fault, so she's going. She sticks near Felicita. No more dead children.

cubey@aol.pl (01:44:16): Felicita herself is surprisingly really calm and her unit moves from cover to cover, but in a continous motion rather than in short bursts of speed. That comes for during the combat.
tengusaur (01:45:10): The entrance to the hideout is within your eyesight now! It's an old, large mineshaft in the side of a mountain, quickly jury-rigged into something more suitable for defense when push comes to shove.

tengusaur (01:46:43): The entrance to the hideout should be empty, in order to keep up the pretense of it being an abandoned mine.
Wyverncakes (01:47:23): Julia: "It'll be okay. Stalkers may be durable, but there's only so much defense something so small can have."
tengusaur (01:47:48): What it SHOULDN'T be is emitting thin trails of smoke from inside, or being surrounded by strange, humanoid creatures and several ships floating in mid-air!

tengusaur (01:48:50): To make it worse, there is another ship crashed next to the mine's entrance, and a lot of the aliens are engaged in a firefight with someone taking cover on the ship's deck!

Wyverncakes (01:56:14): * And with that, the Corona rockets forward out of its mist, railgun at the ready before firing two shots to test the strength of one of the ATCs!+
Fri Freeman (01:56:28): Rock starts to points his buster gun and his machine gun at the pirates and shoots the incoming pirate groups+

tengusaur (01:57:49): Seeing a Stalker going into their direction, many of the Space Pirates change their targets and open fire at it instead! There's a lot of Phazon shots going into its direction now! (react)

tengusaur (01:58:41): Rock's shots riddle three of the Pirates with holes, causing them to drop down. But now four more are jumping up using their jetpacks, and going to engage him in melee with their scythe-like wrist energy blades! (react)
tengusaur (01:59:45): The ATC is shaken badly by the shots hitting its side, but it turns around to face Corona with its front and fires its triple cannon at the mech! (react)

Wyverncakes (02:01:06): * The Corona cuts its thrusters to get out of the cannon's range of fire as it loads an arrow-like projectile into its railgun, one glowing red-hot before it's fired! And bam, HFM arrow sent straight at that ATC to cook it from the inside out... hopefully.+
tengusaur (02:01:21): The Stalker manages to take down two of the Pirates and one support drone. It's damaged quite heavily by all this fire going its way though!
swedenfc19 (02:01:46): Ranna, having decided to conduct further combat trial with the Verfolger, fires a salvo of mech-sized scattered slugs at the ATCs like an automatic shotgun.+
cubey@aol.pl (02:01:53): *Suddenly, out of cover a mobile suit springs into combat! Deva runs up towards one of the Berserker Knights and punches it with its oversized fist! Then its hand opens up and unleashes a beam cannon blast - at point blank range.+
tengusaur (02:02:31): Rock + Roll + Barrell = Rock does a Barrel Roll. His armor still loses some energy from one of the attacks scratching him though.
lionel boyd bokanon johnson (02:01:41): Seeing that she'll probably lose this one, she has the Stalker scramble towards the remaining Pirates on all fours like some Gigerian beast and try to rip it open with its claws. In her control helmet, she feels sick.
tengusaur (02:03:39): Ranna's barrage damages the armor of both ATCs, and then Julia's projectile shoots right through the previously hit one, causing it to blow up violently! Corona escapes mostly without any damage.
tengusaur (02:04:01): Deva's attack is effective at pulverizing the giant mutated Space Pirate!
Wyverncakes (02:05:21): (Null Shift. Corona's the old and busted Prominance Armor)

tengusaur (02:06:53): The Green Storm soldiers rush in, firing their guns and grenade launchers! They tend to keep their distance, of course, letting the Stalkers move in first and take the brunt of the enemy attack on themselves.

lionel boyd bokanon johnson (02:06:58): Switching to the next Stalker for just a second, she sends it careening between the Berserkers and Felicita, claws held up. It might at least slow them down

swedenfc19 (02:07:17): Ranna now pilots the Verfolger with much more confidence, using the thrusters and the legs interchangeably to weave a deadly dance as she tries to evade them while blasting them at short range with the massive LB-10X autocannon.+

I won't let you." *Felicita makes her unit spin in place to regain balance after a successful attack, and then it jumps back in anticipation for the enemy charge. When they are close, she tries to evade them by jumping again - this time higher with the help of thrusters, and above them like it was some sort of dance routine.+

tengusaur (02:10:00): Both Felicita and Ranna manage to get away from the enemy claws, and Ranna's return fire even falls one of the big Pirates. But one more fires Phazon orbs from launchers on its shoulders, which home in on the Verfolger and scorch its armor a bit!

tengusaur (02:10:26): Energy starts to gather at the red spot between the big ship's three "arms"...
tengusaur (02:10:40): It's getting ready to engulf the whole battlefield in a huge beam blast!

Drascin (02:11:25): However, suddenly there's an orange flash of light, smashing into the Pirate ship from behind!

Wyverncakes (02:12:00): Julia's gritting her teeth, and subconsciously reaching towards the anti-beam gas lever! (Goddamn Irgelion muscle memory!)

Drascin (02:12:34): Whatever that projectile was, it comes out of the other side of the cruiser, right across the cannon, with an explosion!

tengusaur (02:12:42): The flying ship shakes violently! A much smaller shape rips right through it, leaving a huge see-through hole in its armor! The ship is covered in a chain of small explosions an starts to fall apart!

lionel boyd bokanon johnson (02:15:53): After seeing through the Stalker's eyes as it tears through that space pirate's guts, Oenone opens her helmet and is sick on the rocks
Drascin (02:16:34): *The small ship spins on itself, dodging the incoming blasts with small sideways movements, navigating through the barrage as it unloads its railguns on the surface gunners with mathematical precision+
Wyverncakes (02:16:34): Julia: "It's good to see you again, Samus!"
Wyverncakes (02:17:50): * And she's going to see to it that Samus doesn't have to do all the work on her own either! The Null Shift's thrusters flare and it rockets high into the air before hatches on either side of its upper chest open up, revealing glowing energy cannons that Julia unleashes on the Pirates' infantry forces!+
tengusaur (02:18:11): Well that takes care of several of the pirates. Only a few of the shots hit Hunter-1, not dealing much damage to it! The remains of the giant ship crash down in the wasteland behind you and explode.

Each one grabs one of the machine's limb and starts to pull it off, while the final one lashes out with double scythe blades towards its cockpit! (Julia react!)

tengusaur (02:26:35): The barrage of accurately-fired bullets rains down on them, shooting them off Null Shift's limbs! Three of them fall down towards the ground, ripped to pieces, while two are still standing.

Drascin (02:29:47): Samus: "We have to push inside. The creature leading the pirates must be stopped before it completes its objective"
tengusaur (02:29:50): The Berserker Knight which has one of Dr Zero's stalkers hanging off its armor tries to get it off by lifting it up and repeatedly smashing it into the ground like a rag doll. (react)
Wyverncakes (02:29:52): "Yeah... it was really touch and go there... guess I expected my reflexes to be a bit sharper than that."
swedenfc19 (02:29:52): The Verfolger's autocannon has an audible 'click' as Ranna switches ammunition type. "It is good that we are the ones having reinforcements instead of the usual White Chalice sorties," she comments with a wry smile.
Wyverncakes (02:30:05): "Then again, the glove is a double-edged sword like that."
cubey@aol.pl (02:30:36): *Deva's fingers are spread wide, and beam wires extend out from them. The mobile suit leaps into the air once again, turning while airborne and unleashing its long cutting implements on the battlefield below. Felicita wants to cut down as many normal Pirates as possible, before even more of them change into their hyper mode form.+

swedenfc19 (02:30:43): "Aff." Ranna then begins firing man-sized slugs at enemies that are directly in the way, hoping to clear a path.+

lionel boyd bokanon johnson (02:31:44): The Stalker twists around in the giant's hands before digging its claws into the muscle and tearing. It is big. Therefore it has big guts.

tengusaur (02:32:12): Ranna takes down quite a bit of the enemy mooks - those pirates are really not that tough on their own! But the Hypermode ones are, and they rush into her direction, firing Phazon projectiles at ridiculous speed! (react)

Drascin (02:33:29): *And indeed true to her word, the hunter pops out of the top of her ship with a huge jump, turning on herself and locking onto the Berserker Knights. Before she lands she's put fifteen Nova cannon shots into the nearest one in a barrage of red and green shots that tear through Phazite armor like glass. She's been fighting these guys a lot for the past two months, after all!+
tengusaur (02:33:53): But the ATC doesn't appreciate that, and it fires its triple cannons at the Deva! (react)

Wyverncakes (02:35:18): * Fool Julia once, shame on you. Fool Julia twice and... some random bungled George W. Bush line. The point is, she takes careful aim at the Hypermode pirates while accounting for their speed and puts her full-auto railgun to good use. Hopefully it'll make things easier for Ranna._

Fri Freeman (02:36:40): Roll runs toward one fo the Berserker Knight, shooting at it with his buster gun, before thrusting with his left arm that' somehow now is a drill when he got close enough.
tengusaur (02:37:34): Julia's shots barely do much but slow the Hypermode Pirates down, but that's enough to let Ranna get away from them without suffering any real damage!
tengusaur (02:38:16): And then suddenly they stop for a moment, their Hypermode starting to fade out! This gives Christine a good opportunity to vaporize them with her beam shots!
swedenfc19 (02:38:40): Ranna: "Thank you, Julia."
tengusaur (02:38:56): Samus' attack destroys two of the Berserker Knights in what seems like total overkill.
tengusaur (02:39:28): Rock's shots shake the last remaining Berserker, and his drill does what a drill has to do and pierces right through the damn alien!
Drascin (02:39:32): (seems? Samus always overkills when fighting Pirates. Personal kind of deal)
Wyverncakes (02:39:34): Julia: "It's no problem."
tengusaur (02:40:09): The ATC's shots damage Deva's armor quite heavily, the robot not being able to dodge! Felicita is in a bit of a trouble now...
tengusaur (02:40:14): Not to mention pain.
tengusaur (02:40:43): But before it can fire again, suddenly a barrage of machinegun fire flies towards it, and it crashes into the mountainside, smoking heavily!
Wyverncakes (02:40:46): "And for that matter..." Julia's seeing dose dead Hyper pirates... "The Blue Shift really did turn out amazing."

tengusaur (03:31:19): Well, that rips one of the pandas apart. But the other one baps the rocket anchor away with its massive arm, and then proceeds to rip apart Null Shift's armor like nothing happened! Its arm is heavily damaged now!

Drascin (03:47:26): *Looking around, Samus scans the area. Main danger to the rest of the group are those fixed anti-vehicle guns. So she intends to do something about it. She breaks into a run at full speed right towards the nearest Mobile City, zigzagging like a flash thanks to the Speed Booster - and jumps a ridiculous distance into the air, tumbling with the Grapple beam around the huge behemoth's girdle's to stay out of its' cannons' angle of fire. Most anti-siege guns are probably not designed for something like this! The crews in the frontal cannon batteries are going to see a small ball landing atop one of the cannons with a thunk, leaving a suspicious small, shining white energy pellet... that goes nova two seconds later+

swedenfc19 (04:49:33): Her tone is almost in reverence as she waxes poetic words, but Ranna is still focused on her foe as she brings that deadly autocannon to bear, tracking them as its spills high velocity large calibre rounds at them, the beam cannons joining the chorus of lead and fire.+

tengusaur (04:50:29): The last three exhausted stalker pandas fall down to Ranna's fire. Their tormented existence is finally at its end.
tengusaur (04:51:13): The pirate commandos fall off Deva and disappear somewhere on the horizon, thrown away with high power.
Drascin (04:52:40): *Samus looks upwards. The others are taking care of the aerial assault. So that leaves taking out the Pirates. She runs her scan visor in X-Ray mode to find the Pirate Commander, and when she finds it, she runs at it, corralling it with seeker missiles to force it to engage her - and once in melee, actually letting go a brutal thruster-pokered kick right at the center of its Phazite armor!+

tengusaur (04:54:24): Samus' attacks shake the Commander, but after getting shot a few times it teleports away, trying to escape the seeker missiles! The kick still hits it, causing further damage, but it retaliates by firing Phazon missiles while Samus is still away, and stabbing with the arm-mounted scythe blade while she's up close! (react)

Drascin (04:57:30): *Samus dodges the Phazon missiles ith lightning fast sidesteps, but she can't dodge the blade as well - so instead she brings up her arm, trusting her suit's shields to hold it off for a second even as it takes a chunk off her energy levels. But with that second of arm lock she lets go a point-blank phazite-breaking Nova shot right at its stomach+
tengusaur (04:58:27): Samus' energy levels are seriosly drained by this strike! Her low energy alarm is already ringing...
tengusaur (04:59:14): But the Nova Shot hits the commander right at the weak spot! Bright light accumulates inside the Space Pirate, and it explodes violently in an even brighter flash!
