tengusaur (02:46:47): Dan: "With our track record? Pretty high. Are you sick, Loran? You look somewhat different than normal."
aldo salt (02:47:25): Matthew contacts Nikolai. "Galaxy Commander…are you sure you are in a position to fight?"

sketchbookfiend (02:48:07): And he immediately shuts off any video communication and sticks to sound. Loran is so weird.
tengusaur (02:48:18): Dan: "Alright then. Scouting party, head out! Be careful."
lionel boyd bokanon johnson (02:48:35): Nikolai: I have fought under worse circumstances. There are even advantages to this state. Your concern is touching, though! Ah ha ha ha~

aldo salt (02:50:53): Matthew, quickly remembering something, uploads that photo of Nikolai he took to the White Chalice's image board.
aldo salt (02:51:13): "Do you wish to ride me out?" He asks him.
lionel boyd bokanon johnson (02:51:56): Nikolai: Aff. A smart idea. [And on he climbs! Let's assume he's taken some tums and advils beforehand.]
tengusaur (02:52:23): The scouting party (consisting of whole 3 mecha and 1 Elemental attached to one of them) moves out into space!
VJockey (02:52:32): "Because real men and women ride each other" [Snicker]

aldo salt (02:53:07): "But of course!" Matthew declares, the undertones completely eluding him.

tengusaur (02:53:44): Your destination is far away that you leave White Chalice behind, but close enough that it can move in and provide extra support in a short time if things get hairy.
tengusaur (02:53:58): And soon, you see what is it about!
tengusaur (02:54:50): And it is a space station indeed, shaped like a large plate with a smaller part sticking from the bottom, built from smooth, light grey metal and with blue lights here and there.
tengusaur (02:55:21): The construction is very similar to the La Garite ships and mecha that some of you have seen.
VJockey (02:55:39): ".... anyone else feeling hungry?"
VJockey (02:55:50): "Its like this station's trying to tell me something."

tengusaur (02:57:08): The station is obviously online, but it doesn't launch any mecha or react to your presence in any other way.
tengusaur (02:57:42): But then suddenly, you get a transmission!
tengusaur (02:57:56): And it's a voice some of you might find familiar.
tengusaur (02:58:02): Moid: "Guests from White Chalice, hmm?"
tengusaur (02:58:29): Moid: "I'm afraid you've come to pay us a visit at a bad time. We're currently busy performing some research."
aldo salt (02:59:44): "Our apologies." Matthew replies. "We were investigating the sudden appearance of your station. What is this research you speak of?"
tengusaur (03:00:07): Moid: "I'm afraid I canno- what's that?"
tengusaur (03:00:23): Suddenly, new heat sources are approaching at a great speed!
aldo salt (03:00:52): "What the–"
tengusaur (03:01:07): Moid: "De Metrio!"
VJockey (03:01:50): ".....!"
VJockey (03:01:53): "Those guys-"

tengusaur (03:02:27): Your sensors can quickly pick up a very large amount of mecha approaching, with hints of more of them further away!
VJockey (03:02:32): "Guys, get your guns out! NOW!"

VJockey (03:02:43): "These fuckers are no fucking joke!"
tengusaur (03:03:09): It's a swarm of standard De Metrio machines, but this time they are armed with spear-like weapons in addition to their previous weapoinry!

lionel boyd bokanon johnson (03:08:55): Nikolai: This would be a lot easier to fight on the surface of the station...It would be wasteful to damage it, but I have no intention of getting outflanked by those things. Matthew, to the station surface.

VJockey (03:10:29): *Mad primes her Railcannon - loading up several spikes- No that was not a typo, there are literally spikes loaded into it - along with several explosive rounds and swings it at the incoming foes, pulling the trigger and unleashing a wall of pain and EXPLOSIONS at the Arvitios+
VJockey (03:10:42): "Get through goddamnit... come oooonnnn"
tengusaur (03:10:55): Loran's shot hits one of the Arvitios, making it spiral out of the way, too damaged to fight! The rest of the ones he hit absorb the shots with their fields, and three of them respond back by firing projectiles of subspace energy at him! (react)
sketchbookfiend (03:11:35): *Loran's not too big on knowing what those are so he fires his rockets to dodge the shots, but any he can't he'll try to block with his shield+
aldo salt (03:12:08): "Aff!" Matthew boosts for the station, to drop off Nikolai and do some point defense!
tengusaur (03:12:26): One of the Arvitios raises a defensive subspace field, but Mad's projectile pierces right through it, causing the machine to explode! But then the spikes, slowed down, hit another machine, and bounce off its field back into Mad's direction! (react)

VJockey (03:13:26): *Well Mad got what she wanted, but someone else just HAD to ruin it for her, she punches the thrusters into gear to avoid the ricochet!+

tengusaur (03:14:02): Lan's field blocks the enemy attack. Loran also dodges out of the way safely, blocking whatever few shots are still heading into his direction with his shield... But the rest of them hit the space station instead, exploding on its surface!

sketchbookfiend (03:15:47): Loran: "I feel like I'm not in a match I'm suited for...must be a day that ends in y." The boy sighs.
aldo salt (03:15:53): Matthew shifts gears, and takes aim at the incoming projectile. "Take this! NOVA BURST!" Five laser shoot out to vape the projectile. "We will not back down! Nikolai! Be ready!" He builds up a vector that will allow Nikolai to jump off and intercept one of the enemy units without getting cannon-balled. +
tengusaur (03:16:27): Matthew burns through most of the spikes, letting Mad escape the rest of them easily!
lionel boyd bokanon johnson (03:19:18): Nikolai: "Aff. Watch your back down there, you are at a maneuverability disadvantage." He launches off the vector, aiming to hit the nearest Arvitio from behind with laser, MG and claw, then brake and launch back towards Matthew with his jump jets (the normal superheated air mixture being replaced with mercury for this purpose)

tengusaur (03:21:05): The Arvitio activates its Subspace Field, and while it's somewhat damaged, a lot of Nikolai's attack is stopped and the laser is reflected back at him! And to make it worse, the robot now tries to skewer him with its spear! (react)
aldo salt (03:21:07): Matthew then pivots with the Nova's thrust pack to face the other Arvitos! "We are your foes! Defy us if you can! NOVA LIGHTSHOW!" He fires all his lasers, five each going for the limbs of two of the mooks, radiators glowing bright red!+
lionel boyd bokanon johnson (03:21:34): Nikolai: He uses the nearest Arvitio to offset his maneuverability disadvantage, clinging to its back and firing over its shoulders at the others as opportunity allows. Yeah, it's mecha hooks-in backmount.
tengusaur (03:23:12): Matthew's lasers overpower one Arvitio and blow it up, but the other enemy deflects them and joins up with projectiles fired by its own weaponry! And to make it worse, the station activates its own Subspace Field now to protect against all the attacks flying into its direction, catapulting Nova off its surface into space! (react)
tengusaur (03:23:24): AND TO MAKE IT EVEN WORSE!
tengusaur (03:23:35): More heat signatures appear!
tengusaur (03:24:02): But this time, they belong to another source, and are coming from a different direction!

griefgathering (03:28:00): Muginami: "...Now...!" *And with the arrival of this new force, Vox Ignis guns it to get to the station. Even with that Subspace field there, it draws its energy rifle and begins to fire!+

tengusaur (03:29:06): The Mercurius fires its beam gun, destroying two Mobile Dolls on the way - their AI is too slow to get out of the way in time! But now the beam is heading towards Loran! (Loran react)

aldo salt (03:30:31): Matthew takes aim at Vox Ignis's beam rifle. "NOVA SHOT!" He tries for a precision 'blast it out of her hands' move!
VJockey (03:30:41): "Gear Shield!" *Mad gets in the way of the blasts fired off by the Ignis' rifle. Thankfully it had gotten a shield ready - but no telling how well it can hold up... even if its regenerating metal.+
tengusaur (03:30:47): Nikolai manages to finish the already damaged Arvitio, but the one behind which he's hiding uses its field to propel him away into deep space, damaging his armor slightly and putting him in a place where he's surrounded by bad guys!

sketchbookfiend (03:31:19): Loran: "You...you've got to be kidding."
tengusaur (03:31:33): Fortunately the beam only grazes White Doll, slightly damaging its leg.
aldo salt (03:31:33): [Gah! Pretend Matthew didn't do that!]

tengusaur (03:33:32): Mad and Lan get in the way of Muginami's attack, tanking it! But that comes at a price, and the former's machine gets some moderate damage from tanking all these attacks, while the latter's field is weakened!

She yells angrily, but despite that she aims not at her former friend, but fires several carefully-placed explosive shots into the ovid crowd. Which then, as the name suggests, explode.+

aldo salt (03:36:00): *Matthew stop his tumbling, and tries bobbing and weaving through the subspace weapons fire! "Stravag!"+
VJockey (03:36:01): *To that end she's prepping the Railcannon for Variable Loads and rushed through the Arvitio crowd surrounding him!& "Gonna need your help... I got a plan!"
Overman Zappa (03:36:36): *Making a move to interpose other Dolls between himself and the White Doll, not only does it raise a physical shield, but other bit-like shields form a barrier before it+
tengusaur (03:37:27): Lan's exploding shots shake and blow up three of the attacking mecha! But now four more are rushing into her direction, assuming that a ranged unit will be an easy target at close range, and try to stab them with their subspace energy spears! (react)
tengusaur (03:38:00): Matthew manages to regain control of his unit, but not before its armor suffers moderate damage in a few places!
tengusaur (03:38:38): Mad grabs the Arvitio's attention, and now something like half a dozen of them is firing subspace energy projectiles at her! (react/continue)

cubey@aol.pl (03:39:00): *Vox Lympha transforms into Piercer Mode and moves forward to meet the attackers head on. Or does it - as soon as it's within melee range, Lan tries to maeuver out of harm's way AND additionally harm the enemy with the glowy afterimage.+
aldo salt (03:39:20): Matthew grunts at the damage, then continues on. He's more worried at the tone of the dialogue between Lan and Muginami. "Mechwarrior Lan…what is your faction experimenting on?"
tengusaur (03:39:28): Mercurius suffers only slight damage from Loran's attack, thanks to the focus on defense and a cunning plan of using an MD Taurus as a living shield, which explodes!
tengusaur (03:39:45): Well, not really living, it's AI-controlled.
Overman Zappa (03:40:03): They're live though.
lionel boyd bokanon johnson (03:40:46): Nikolai: He treats the Lambda like he'd treated that Arvitio earlier, using its back to shield himself from the other half of their attacks. But he's facing away this time, in a Back To Back Badasses type position.
aldo salt (03:40:48): *Matthew moves towards the OZ ranks, and starts hammering them with a: "Nova Lightshow!" He keeps peppering them with blasts, headless of his mech's heat buildup.+
sketchbookfiend (03:41:06): Loran: "Huh? What are those?" of course referring to the bits. They're like Amuro's funnels that he heard about but not quite?

From there, she instantly changes back to Piercer Mode and continues on her path!+
