VJockey (02:51:47): Within moments the Tome glows with an unearthly light as darkness most foul spewed forth from it like the bibilical flood of Noah. Everyone in the Hangar would see it...
VJockey (02:52:04): A mass of compressed Shadow Knights being disgorged from the Paragon.

cubey@aol.pl (03:10:03): *Suddenly, long blue lances shoot out from inside the hangar, each one aimed at a different halberd to pierce it with massive penetrating force. Texotic Pilhua walks out in long, purposeful steps, the tendrils still attached to random places on its body.+
VJockey (03:10:16): Richard! You manage to take a pair of knights down - but before you could get any further your face is filled with FIST! Ideigi is sent stumbling backwards as a downright demonic howl of fury rung through the air.
VJockey (03:10:24): Its your old friend the Shadow Beast
VJockey (03:10:36): you know, the Shadow Knight who you fought on the huge plane?
tengusaur (03:10:40): * Raynor: "If it's my fault, then it's my responsibility as well! Paragon of Honesty! Change, Mage Form!" Turning into its blue form, Paragon raises one fist, creating an arm-shaped force field around it for defense, and fires several energy blasts from its fingers on the other hand! "Mage Armor! Magic Missiles!" +
tengusaur (03:10:53): Paragon is still playing the music, of course.
Meraxa (03:11:05): Richard: Yooooou...! *And somehow managing to actually FLIP Ideigi back upright, Richard stares at the familiar beast.

VJockey (03:11:13): Its now attempting to rip and tear Ideigi open to pull you out and repeatedly smash your squishy self into the dirt. React!
tengusaur (03:11:23): Raynor: "Subtlety rarely has place on the battlefield, I'm afraid! Thanks, Texotic."
Meraxa (03:12:08): Richard: BRING IT ON! *By react, do you mean fist fight? Because thats what Richard is going for, having dropped his sword!+
ZebulonCrispi (03:13:43): Leopold: "Hmm... would you say these shadow fellows are energy beings?"
VJockey (03:13:58): Raynor! Texotic! Because of the Overbeing's interference the Halberds are slowed down enough to merely batter the Mage Armor without being able to penetrate it - the fact that the lances merely just slowed them down though and the shield is showing serious wear and tear is proof of just how much stronger the Shadow Knights have become. But either way the Magic Missiles have blasted apart more of their number.

Not letting details such as actually having solid ground under its limbs dissuade it, it pounces at the knight swarm, stretched wings and flailing tail trying to knock away as many of them as possible, while clawed hands slash wildly.+
ZebulonCrispi (03:17:54): Well, if they're solid, it's time for solid-to-solid combat!
ZebulonCrispi (03:18:28): * Super Bismuth takes flight and charges into the fray, targeting the nearest Shadow Knight and slamming into it with a one-two-punch! +
VJockey (03:18:40): Texotic! You manage to knock aside and otherwise maul and crush several knights in your charge! However... a wild animal will always have a hunter. A barrage of shots rains out from practically out of nowhere! React!

VJockey (03:20:34): Leo! The One-Two punch was pretty good... but rather than destroying the target knight it just makes it stagger back, grip on its halberd tight... Then it charges at you, swinging its weapon! And it wasn't alone! Several more knights join its attack from all angles! And there were a few who gained wings and attacked from above! React!!!
ZebulonCrispi (03:21:48): * A brave warrior doesn't back down from an honest challenge! Holding ground, Super Bismuth changes both of its hands into shields, drops down below the group so that the attacks are all coming from above, and tries to endure the onslaught. +
VJockey (03:21:55): Texotic! You'll find the wings being battered so hard to the point they downright shatter from the sheer magnitude of the assault. Your assailant can be seen for a few brief moments before a group of Shadow Knights pass before him - obscuring him from view for a few moments... then he's no longer there.

VJockey (03:24:39): Leo & Bismuth Show! Those shields are dealing with a hell of a lot - the Knights are downright relentless in their assault, crowding over Bismuth's shields like a swarm of bees as they repeatedly stab their halberds into the defence!

Wyverncakes (03:29:31): * "Well then..." Jeremy said as he readies the Leeda's arm cannon at the swarms of Shadow Knights. "It is time to cut a swath through the darkness!" And with that, the machine lets loose a flurry of thin, razor-sharp barrier discs, with Jeremy's HAMMY WORDS coming from the machine's speakers while he does so!+
sketchbookfiend (03:29:54): *Loran decides to cut in on the crowd control for shadow knights as well and flies forward, firing shots into the crowd with his beam rifle.+
Fri Freeman (03:31:34): Elena follows suit, by unleashing a swarm of missiles toward the crowd.+
VJockey (03:32:54): Jeremy, Elena, Loran! Your combined barrage takes out quite a few of the knights. Not bad... however, they are displeased by the assault... so much that a tremendous barrage of shadow beams and a literal rain of Halberds is incoming! React or be skewered!
Fri Freeman (03:33:48): Elena simply fly higher, dancing around the halberds in the mean time.+

sketchbookfiend (03:35:16): *Loran decides to fly higher out of the way of the beams and snaps out his abdomen's mega particle canon to fire and blast away as many halberds in front of him as he can.+
Wyverncakes (03:35:30): * Jeremy responds by drawing the Iserlohn Blade! But he strikes not the Shadow Knights, but the ground beneath him! The barrier shaft that forms ends up being blunt, more like a staff than anything else, and Jeremy uses it to propel himself into the air with lickety speed!+

aldo salt (03:38:36): *"I THINK NOT!" Suddenly! A storm of lasers burst out of the hanger bay, shooting down Shadow Halberds all over the place! Rocketing out from the hanger bay comes a familiar bird-like mech, heat radiators glowing red!+

aldo salt (03:40:02): Matthew: "Apologies for my tardiness, Paragon Raynor Joz!" He grins. "But I swear here and now: this is fight I shall not miss out on!"

cubey@aol.pl (03:41:25): "Matthew!" Pilhua immediately turns to face the new arrival. Texotic is not good at controlling her impulses it seems.
aldo salt (03:41:45): "Texotic!" Matthew exclaims right back. "Focus on the enemy, not me!"
Wyverncakes (03:42:03): Jeremy: "It's good to see you arrive, Matthew!"
Wyverncakes (03:42:22): Unlike the alien not-girl, Jeremy's focus hasn't been taken off of the Shadow Knights though.
aldo salt (03:43:15): "I am glad to be here as well!" Matthew proclaims to Jeremy. "I was delayed by a targeting computer malfunction." He explains to Loran. "But enough chatter: let us drive back these Shadows!"
VJockey (03:43:33): Thanks to Matthew's timely intervention the threatened only have to deal with minor damage
VJockey (03:43:42): and in Elena's case downright nothing

Raynor rushes forward on his motorbike, swinging the giant blade with great force at any Shadow Knights on the way with one wide strike, ending with his true target - the Shadow Champion! And then he follows up with another, jumping strike from below, leaping up from the bike's seat! "Slash!!" +

Meraxa (03:48:49): Richard: Alright, you think you're tough... *Richard knows he's taking on more hits, so he plans to make his hits worth more!* SOLAR PUNCH! *Because with his next fist, erupts a familiar glowing energy attack. Point blank.+
cubey@aol.pl (03:49:55): "We need to destroy the Shadow Gunner." Texotic tells Matthew, but she sounds different, talking from behind clenched teeth with barely restrained anger. "I will make it leave its hiding place, then you finish it off."
VJockey (03:52:34): Raynor! At the start it was looking good - you managed to knock away several Shadow Knights.... then the Champion blocked your attack - catching you in a bladelock - making it a CROSS COUNTAH! To make matters worse several knights are attempting to stab at you from both left and right! React!
aldo salt (03:52:58): "Roger that." Matthew declares to Texotic. "Stravag!" He clarifies, in response to Raynor's plight.
VJockey (03:53:21): Richard! Your Solar Punch blasts off one of the Beast's arms! However it counters by roundhousing Ideigi in the face! React!
VJockey (03:53:37): (Tex Mex & Matt)
tengusaur (03:54:48): * Raynor: "Paragon of Justice! Change, Druid Form!" Turning into the green and brown form, Paragon starts spinning rapidly in mid-air, blocking all the incoming strikes with a hurricane of claw strikes! "Pegasus, now!" The bike, unattended, takes the opportunity to bullrush several Knights on its own, spikes extending from its wheels! +
Meraxa (03:54:55): Richard: Why you-! *Richard responds by trying to grab the Beast and throw it right over him!+
cubey@aol.pl (03:55:22): *Suddenly, Texotic Pilhua stops moving and slowly floats above in a saint-like pose. Is Texotic trying to ascend to the heavens? "Ah... AAAAH!" Suddenly, when the thing is above the battlefield, it shudders and shoots out a terrible lot of Mitl, threatening to pierce enemies down below! Everything is a target of opportunity, but the area where Texotic saw the Gunner last is targetted in particular...+

aldo salt (03:57:38): *"Now!" Matthew triggers his jump jets and rockets up and to the left, taking aim at the pinned down Shadow Gunner! "You who have fallen into despair…taste the Coherent Light of My Hope! ALPHAAAA STRIKKKEEE!"+
VJockey (03:57:38): Raynor! Your gambit manages to force the Champion back and devastate the weapons of the knights! This gave your attack bike long enought to plow through their numbers!
VJockey (03:58:31): Richard! Your arms are going to be hurting in the morning, but you manage to catch the kick before it connects and fling the beast across the landscape - leaving a significant trail of upturned earth!
VJockey (03:59:54): Texotic & Matthew! Several Knights are taken down by the Mitl Rain and the Gunner himself is forced to flee... right into Matthew's Alpha Strike - before he could even attempt to shield himself with another Knight he takes all of it to the face
VJockey (04:00:03): The gunner is now a non-issue
