tengusaur (02:20:56): A group of Federation suits encountered monsters near the meteors. Details were sparce, because the Feddies got annihilated...
tengusaur (02:21:18): But from their description, there's no doubt that the creatures are a part of Exvoritam Filios.
tengusaur (02:21:27): This requires investigation.
tengusaur (02:21:41): White Chalice sent a group to handle this.
tengusaur (02:21:56): That'd be you. You're on a shuttle currently, and it's getting close to the meteor area.

Wyverncakes (02:22:50): Well, Lynn's worried that EF might also mean Takeda...
Wyverncakes (02:23:02): And on top of that, seeing things through to the end with Cora.
sketchbookfiend (02:23:05): Yusuke is pacing as Kuuga, he still being a bit mopey over recent events. And the reports to get us out here weren't helping.

griefgathering (02:26:06): Neptune doesn't seem like her usual self too. The last mission she was in, they'd lost another person and she couldn't do much about it. But she is trying to stay positive for now and is just gazing out one of the windows.

tengusaur (02:33:38): The station has a weird, elongated shape - a bit like one of those glass cannon spaceships that are little more than a giant gun with everything else built around it.
tengusaur (02:34:07): You land on a semi-open area, a bit like inside a giant hangar that was open.
tengusaur (02:34:16): Because of the Veil, there is air here.
VJockey (02:34:26): "Probably a trap."
VJockey (02:34:29): "Again"
tengusaur (02:34:29): The area is filled with all kinds of large tubes, going in various directions.
Wyverncakes (02:34:31): R: "Almost seems like that."
tengusaur (02:34:46): Many of them are pointing outside, away from the station.

Wyverncakes (02:52:45): * REVIVAL charges straight at the much bigger Izanagi, mounting the gauntlet on its right hand. "Dyrnwyn, activate!" At once the fist begins to glow blue, and the machine strikes out, launching a long, streaking wave of blue energy at Takeda's mech!+
griefgathering (02:53:11): Neptune clenches her right hand into a fist and punches her open left palm. "You said it! I've had enough of these guys!"
VJockey (02:53:26): *Cora brings up both the twin gatling laser and the multi-machinegun. Her target? Mongrel!+
Meraxa (02:53:47): Richard has already moved to Ideigi, the giant robot's head nodding slightly, before charging in. As Lynn strikes from below, Ideigi's large fist comes down from above towards Izanagi!+
tengusaur (02:55:25): "Oh, you have a new toy. Unfortunately, I didn't sit on my ass either!" Takeda swings an open hand, launching an energy blast from Izanagi's fingers! It heads straight towards Lynn's, colliding with it! Its power is very high! (react)
tengusaur (02:56:12): Fortunately, Takeda gets distracted by Ideigi swinging a fist towards him - that might give Lynn an opportunity as Izanagi gets staggered for a second!
tengusaur (02:56:13): But!
tengusaur (02:56:53): "I thought brainless self-proclaimed heroes hate interrupting duels." Takeda fires several small finger lasers from his other hand at Richard, at almost point blank! (react)
Wyverncakes (02:57:37): * Rather than get in a power struggle against the new machine, R has the VeHA juke to the side and haul out it handguns to unload on the Izanagi's head.+
Wyverncakes (02:57:54): Lynn: "Blame Exvoritam Filios for the Dyrnwyn."
Wyverncakes (02:58:10): "Ulysses's gauntlets got me thinking about unfinished weapons the armory was working on..."
Wyverncakes (02:58:25): "Why wait any longer for them when R could just go and bring one back for me?"
tengusaur (02:58:31): Mongrel dashes around, dodging Cora's fire by using Tunnel Stalkers as shields - she takes down like 6 of them instead! "Eat this!" He aims a giant, mortar-like weapon, very similar to Lynn's Durandal! There's a click and suddenly a swarm of micro-missiles flies towards Cora! (react)
tengusaur (02:58:43): The missiles are homing with ridiculous precision!
Meraxa (02:58:59): Richard: I may not have gone to school, but I'm far from brainless! SOLAR PUNCH! *And similarly point blank, Richard engages his spell, hoping to let the energy fist counter the lasers head on!+

tengusaur (02:59:08): Chips: "Just to let you know, I'm controlling every single one of those."
Wyverncakes (02:59:26): She winces at the sight of Mongrel's weapon.

VJockey (02:59:43): *Cora has to kick off into the air backwards - switching targets to the missiles and deploying chaff - Well that just made things even MORE DIFFICULT DIDN'T IT?!+
tengusaur (03:01:20): Richard's spell is wider, but Takeda's beams are more focused and burn through the fist, burning Ideigi's armor as well where they hit! The solar punch hits Izanagi, however, but most of it is absorbed by the super robot's barrier...
tengusaur (03:02:16): Lynn avoids the incoming energy blast safely! Her gunshots hit Izanagi's head several times, damaging it lightly - but again, that Veil absorbs a lot of damage.
tengusaur (03:03:26): Some of the missiles explode dangerously close to Cora, the closest explosion throwing her away - but she's mostly fine! The chaff managed to confuse the rest of them, and they explode around in the environment instead.
sketchbookfiend (03:03:27): *Kuuga's eyes flash as the color and shape of the Rider quickly change into Rising Dragon, and bolts for Mongrel, with a pipe in his hand transforming into a rod- once within range he twists to slash towards the man with one of the rod's bladed heads&
tengusaur (03:03:37): One of those explosions left a large hole in one of the bigger tubes...
tengusaur (03:03:46): And you can see something seeping out of it.

tengusaur (03:06:07): "Get lost, Rider! I hate your kind!" Mongrel swings his telekinetic whip, entangling Kuuga's rod with it! Two Devastators take advantage of it and open fire at Yusuke, sending a huge barrage of minigun rounds into his direction! (react)
tengusaur (03:06:57): The Devastator is frozen and shatters into icy pieces! But two more turn towards Neptune, aim really giant laser cannons, and try to catch her in a crossfire of beams! (react)

griefgathering (03:09:33): *Neptune leaps straight into the air to dodge the fire, drawing her katana! She'll descend upon the Devastator Lynn didn't shoot at!+
tengusaur (03:10:30): The Tunnel Stalkers are small and not very tough, so Elena kills more than half a dozen of them! But the rest of them launch towards her Aries, trying to claw it apart and hissing horribly! One or two attack from the back, managing to sneak up on her! (react)
sketchbookfiend (03:10:33): *Kuuga let's go of the Rod and leaps away from the minigun rounds- by going over the Devastators and coming down with a SECOND Rod he pulled from another smaller pipe he carried along towards his initial enemy. Yusuke's learned to come prepared for form changing.+

tengusaur (03:12:07): The interception fire eliminates one of the Devastators in one clean and powerful shot that leaves a hole in its body! Neptune's katana strike simply slashes right through another one!
tengusaur (03:12:17): But one of the lasers still burns her a bit, and her HP bar drops.
tengusaur (03:13:14): Yusuke manages to get only grazed by a few bullets, and then his second rod slashes into Mongrel, damaging his armor! But then Mongrel pushes his away with an angry telekinetic strike.

tengusaur (03:13:43): Mongrel: "I'm sick of being shat on by the whole world!"

tengusaur (03:23:52): Cora hides behind Richard! Ideigi shakes a little bit, but doesn't suffer any real damage - it's good at tanking multiple small hits like that!
griefgathering (03:24:08): *Neptune does the only thing she can - run. If there's anything she can hide behind, then she'll use that+
tengusaur (03:24:11): Lynn shoots down two of the attackers, but her evasion is not entirely successful and REVIVAL gets hit a few times!

tengusaur (03:30:51): Cora blasts the meteor apart! But suddenly, Mongrel is flying into her direction - yes, he took off into mid-air now, like other Ascended - and sending a telekinetic push into her direction, to slam her into a wall! He's already readying a heavy gun to fire! (react)
Meraxa (03:31:53): Richard: Hm... *Richard... is going to try following those tubes, assuming he's got the room, whilst swinging his somewhat large sword around to see if he can catch say, some Sutherlands on the way+
tengusaur (03:33:07): Takeda doesn't seem to be impressed by the rounds mostly plinking off his shield. He raises Izanagi's hands, gathering energy within them and creating several cutting blade-like force fields! And he sends them to meet Lynn's strike and shred her to pieces! (react/continue)
VJockey (03:33:37): *SCREW THAT! WHIP IT GOOD! Cora lashes out with her grappling hook at the gun and sends a massive electrical charge through it!!!+

With the weapon warped in, R takes aim, opening fire on the meteors... but also launching the hookshot straight at the damaged Izanagi to pin it in place for Richard's shot! "Let's see how much thought you put into your own machine's defensive OTHER than the Veil!"+

tengusaur (04:54:19): Scythe and Dice manages to keep the FE monsters at bay... But Cora's cannon shot is almost entirely stopped by Amaterasu's armor! This thing is damn tough! It jumps away, only getting grazed by Richard's punches! And it responds by opening its mouth and firing a huge beam from it at the entire team! (Richard and Cora and company react)

Wyverncakes (05:05:51): Yeah, she remembers he was the one who deserved most of the credit for killing the original Laste Stage, while she was more tied up with Blitz Valhallan people.
Meraxa (05:05:56): "SHINING BODY!" And to that end, the paladin's form erupts in great light, before flickering into motion. It dashes towards the massive monster, attempting to hit with all the speed and power that can be mustered!+
VJockey (05:06:47): Cora: "Damnit, do you think if we space the damn thing it'll suffocate?!"
VJockey (05:06:54): "The last one had plenty of meat on it!"
Wyverncakes (05:07:18): Wait...
tengusaur (05:07:30): Good that the Rising Titan form is so tough, otherwise tanking all those bullets would end really badly for Yusuke! But this way, he's mostly fine. Who isn't, though, is the Devastator he just smashed into the floor!
Wyverncakes (05:07:34): Lynn: "... I have an idea."
Wyverncakes (05:07:45): And then privately to everyone!
Wyverncakes (05:08:05): "... If there are biological components to this thing, then shouldn't it be vulnerable to the Izanami Virus as well?"
sketchbookfiend (05:08:55): Kuuga: "...Makes sense I suppose."
Wyverncakes (05:09:08): Lynn: "Then that's what we'll do."
Wyverncakes (05:10:00): * Just to keep the monster busy though, Lynn brings out the Ascalon again, and fires at the Amaterasu around its face and head, trying to land hits in ideally vulnerable areas!+
Wyverncakes (05:10:19): Lynn: "Richard... can you shove one of those right into its face?"
tengusaur (05:10:59): Seeing Ideigi rush towards her, what does Marie do? Get up and start grappling with Richard! Amaterasu has great physical strength and its giant claws start to cut into the robot's armor, so better do something soon! (react)
tengusaur (05:11:41): Lynn hits the biological components, causing them to bleed. Marie responds by firing several small auto-firing beam turrets at her repeatedly, while still grappling! (react)
Meraxa (05:11:44): Richard: You mean... like... *And the grapple is a go! In Richard's case, he tries to see if he can slam his opponent into one of the tubes!+
VJockey (05:12:03): *Cora, Scythe and Dice are going to fire at Marie's underbelly from behind Ideigi!+
tengusaur (05:13:12): Richard gathers Ideigi's power and pushes the giant dog monster away, right into one of the glass tubes! It shatters, and Izanami Virus is spread all over the creature!
Meraxa (05:13:39): Richard: THIS?!
Wyverncakes (05:13:45): * Under fire once more, REVIVAL dives to evade... using its shield as a sort of skid to glide across the ground!+
Wyverncakes (05:13:51): Lynn: "Yes! Just like that!"
tengusaur (05:13:54): Cora and company fire at Marie, but it seems Amatarasu's underbelly is also tough and armored! that's a lot of bleeding though.
Wyverncakes (05:14:01): "We'll give Marie a taste of its own medicine!"
tengusaur (05:14:28): REVIVAL's shield is shot from under it, causing the machine to flop on the ground disgracefully! Other than that Lynn is fine, though.
tengusaur (05:15:14): Marie: "Argh, the Izanami Virus! Amaterasu's biological components are going to fall apart!"
tengusaur (05:15:23): Marie: "If I don't do this, that is."
tengusaur (05:15:58): Marie: "Override order... Stop affecting Amatarasu... There."
Wyverncakes (05:16:11): R: "An override?!?"
sketchbookfiend (05:16:15): Kuuga: "...Well that's hardly fair."
tengusaur (05:16:25): Marie: "The nanomachines are harmless for me now. It was a nice try, but I am not going to get killed by the tools of my own philosophy."

VJockey (05:19:07): *Cora quickly motions to Dice to take cover, he's still using a first gen Dullahan. In the meantime Cora and Scythe are being as mobile as they could as they returned fire with lasers!+
Wyverncakes (05:19:13): Lynn: "Yusuke... Elena..."
sketchbookfiend (05:19:22): Kuuga: "I suppose if cheating is what you consider worthy."
sketchbookfiend (05:19:26): Kuuga: "Hm?"
Wyverncakes (05:19:36): "Can you expose the Amaterasu to another one of the meteors?"
Wyverncakes (05:19:44): "Don't listen to her. Please, just trust me."
sketchbookfiend (05:19:56): Kuuga: "...I can certainly give it my best-"
sketchbookfiend (05:20:03): *The Rider bolts charging up a Rising Mighty Kick and leaps at the back of one of the Devestators with a spinning roundhouse to kick it with the force of the high powered Rider Kick- aiming to send it flying at the Amaterasu+
VJockey (05:20:29): "Come on... come on..."
tengusaur (05:21:51): The Leapers are frozen, fall down to the floor, and shatter! From the Devastators, two are riddled with holes from the lasers shot by Cora and Scythe, though they pay for it with some damage to their suits. Hopefully this will be over soon.
tengusaur (05:22:56): The last Devastator is Rider Kicked straight into Amaterasu's face, sending the monster staggering backwards! Yes, that means it's closer to another glass container now... But it opens its mouth and roars, firing a huge beam at Yusuke! (react)
tengusaur (05:23:01): At least all the mooks are down now.
tengusaur (05:23:09): (Elena still has to move)
sketchbookfiend (05:24:05): *Kuuga leaps out of the way of the giant beam, flying through the air to get to one of the Leaper's earlier perches. Don't want to get burned.+
tengusaur (05:25:25): Kuuga is not hit by the incoming beam, but its power is still enough to sent him flying just by being nearby!
sketchbookfiend (05:26:53): Kuuga thumps against the ground and rolls into a crouch "Wha, glad I'm not messing with this one as closely as the last."
tengusaur (05:28:59): On the bright side, Amatarasu is straight under one of those glass containers filled with Izanami Virus now...

VJockey (05:30:36): *A motion to Dice and Scythe and several solid rounds are fired at the containers! Lets see what Marie thinks when SHE's put to her own test!+
tengusaur (05:31:07): Marie is ready to defend, but seems surprised that the projectiles are not flying at her! A rain of Izanami Virus falls on Amatarasu.

tengusaur (05:34:17): The machines, one by one, stop working. So do the nanomachines that compose the virus!
Wyverncakes (05:35:04): Lynn: "And let me tell you what else you just shut off."

tengusaur (05:35:24): Marie: "You won't be able to use this against me anymore. I just have to kill you before restarting the whole process. It will take some time... But I have time!"
VJockey (05:35:40): "Except you can't can you?"
VJockey (05:36:15): "You turn them on again, you'll have no way to shut them down."
tengusaur (05:36:37): Marie: "What makes you think that? Begone from my sight." The numerous beam cannons on Amaterasu's back start firing around wildly, creating a gigantic lightshow of lasers! Only you're right in the middle of this!
tengusaur (05:36:52): But the beastie is horribly wrecked by the virus! It's weakened!
tengusaur (05:36:59): Now's your chance!
tengusaur (05:37:04): (everyone react, then act!)
Meraxa (05:38:54): Richard: Ah... *First, he attempts to dodge, flickering in and out. And then...* ATATATATATATATATATATA! *PUMMELING TIME!+
Wyverncakes (05:40:18): * REVIVAL's thrusters burn and it moves to evade... but it's also jetting towards the Amaterasu's face... Dynwyn glowing bright with energy... and once Lynn has her opportunity, she holds the arm out in a very Mega Buster-esque way... "Full power blast!" Artifical eye burning blue, the power fist unleashes everything it has to drive it straight down the monster's throat!+
sketchbookfiend (05:40:30): *Kuuga bounds around the room as it collects friction and its feet burn up with fire with every leap it takes to dodge the beams- then does one final RAIDA JAMPU to get within range of Amaterasu and bring in a rocketing Rising Mighty Kick to the beast- stamping in the explosive Kuuga symbol.+
VJockey (05:40:56): *Scatter! The team grapple/leap away from the blast and unleash a multiple angle attack! Dice and Scythe moving to strike from the sides... Cora though... she strikes from above - parallel to Lynn's own strike she brings the Kinetic Strike Unit down in a falling booster assisted punch!!+
VJockey (05:41:13): "Full boost!+
VJockey (05:41:25): "Lets see you walk away from this!!"
Fri Freeman (05:42:41): Elena dances around the laser, dodging left and right, as she moves and moves closer to the giant dog monster,before spinning and slashing important parts of the monster with his knife!+
tengusaur (05:44:29): A few lasers still hit some of you as you rush towards your target. But you overpower those and ignore the damage you suffered as you focus on the offense!
tengusaur (05:45:20): Amaterasu is riddled with bullets, covered by thin, bloody slashes and hit by punches repeatedly, and then it comes - a combined five-man melee attack, smashing into the monster all together!
tengusaur (05:45:52): You hear a horrible wet sound as the attack pierces its skin and flesh, and the cracking of its metal armor and bones!
tengusaur (05:46:13): You smash right through the horrible monster! It lets out one final, desperate roar...
tengusaur (05:46:26): Marie: "It seems that... I failed my own test..."
tengusaur (05:46:32): Marie: "And you passed..."
Wyverncakes (05:46:37): Lynn: "Shut up."
tengusaur (05:46:51): Marie: "All my philosophy... All my ideals... For nothing..."
tengusaur (05:47:22): Marie: "You won... But I doubt the Earth you build will be strong enough to..."
tengusaur (05:47:55): She doesn't finish. The monstruous body falls to the ground heavily and limps down. Its tendrils all drop as well.
Wyverncakes (05:47:55): Lynn: "Marie... you were there, hiding in your little city for who knows how long before you died."
tengusaur (05:48:00): It's not moving anymore.
Wyverncakes (05:48:12): "You didn't know anything about the world."
sketchbookfiend (05:48:36): Kuuga: "The world and humanity isn't going to quietly vanish..."
VJockey (05:49:03): [Cora says nothing. Rather. She just shoots the corpse a few times.]
VJockey (05:49:14): [Nothing less than Marie deserved.]
tengusaur (05:49:22): Blood and brains splash all around.
Wyverncakes (05:49:26): R would've done it itself if Cora hadn't.
Wyverncakes (05:49:33): R: "Good riddance. All around."
tengusaur (05:49:49): This it it. Takeda and Marie. Mongrel. Exvoritam Filios. All of them are dead now. They got what they deserved, and the world won't suffer because of their actions anymore.
Wyverncakes (05:49:51): "I've never felt happier to be considered a 'failure' in terms of original design."
