OvermanZs1: In about 5 minutes, you'll be heading out over water. You've got an operation time of 2 hours before the "WalkingStick" can open fire again, which will probably severly damage the Nadesico, if not take it out entirely.

OvermanZs1: Can't have that, now can we. Last chance for cockpit bantering before you head off.
Dessa-chan: Rinon's sitting nervously in the Dibison. "Are you guys sure that these things'll hold Dibison up?"
ColorKidLalaPink: Yurika appears on all your screens. "You guys can do it, I know! But, uh... can you pleaaaaaase work hard, just in case?"

HyprKnux1: As Akito makes last prepreations, he can't help but sigh at the fact that he's the guy with the heavy load. "Couldn't they have split it with everyone? I feel like a mule."

UltimateSalsa: Van shugs, hearing Rinon. "They'll hold up the Liger, and the Dibison can't be THAT much heavier... I think." He suits up regardless.

ShaunGarin: Dita is running last minute checks on her Dread. "Well if anything comes to pass, we'll be heavily armed, right?"
fenrirarma: Alexei is making the final adjustments on the Wahrheit with the new Valkyrie pack. Finally, a chance to test this thing out. "If anything, Rinon can have my sled... I'll just Overd Boost in if necessary.."

OvermanZs1: It's been estimated to take the slowest of you to get there within an hour (those of you on sleds), leaving an hour to circle the canon and take it out.

UltimateSalsa: As minutes pass, Van sighs. "Too bad there's nothing out here... It'd be nice to sightsee."
OvermanZs1: [Kamille, Alexei] From pretty far off artillery fire screams through the air. The MK 2 takes a shot in the arm, but, due to such a long velocity and a damn lucky shot, it's nothing more than a hole in the arm. The Wahrheit takes a similar hit to the leg; mostly cosmetic.

OvermanZs1: Fortunately things don't go right back to boring. The water starts to crest over the top of some creature. When the water breaks it's... some sort of giant... floating... water creature...

Dessa-chan: Rinon is grateful that she's got heavy armor, because she' is NOT going to be moving very fast.
ColorKidLalaPink: Yurika pops up on the monitors, apparently having been passing the time herself. "Nine hundred eighty-seven bottles of beer on the w-- huh? Did you guys find it?"
ShaunGarin: Dita blinks. "Is that a turtle?"
UltimateSalsa: Van hears the screaming shots and starts to move, but realizes his mobility is a little hindered by the 'sleds'. Then he sees the thing coming out from the water. "Whoa, what's THAT thing?"
selfkun: Andre: "Whatever it is, I wanna kill it!"
HyprKnux1: Akito: "No... something found us."
HyprKnux1: Akito: "And it's big."

fenrirarma: "Unidentified target..." Alexei immediately opens up his shoulder relation missile pods and brings both of its hand launchers to bear. "Let's hurry this up!"
HyprKnux1: Akito: Augh! We don't have time for this!
HyprKnux1: *With that, Akito starts to speed up his sled, drawing a Rapid Rifle and firing. He's gonna try to save the big guns for the WalkingStick
blackmagerulz101@gmail.com: *Kamille curses. "Damnit! Of all times. Don't take too much time fighting that thing! We've got a mission!" He's already too far ahead to turn back, and as such, he's gonna keep jetting for "WalkingStick"
ShaunGarin: Dita checked the distance. "You know, since I'm the fastest one here, I could break off with someone and head straight for the target. Just a suggestion?"
Dessa-chan: Rinon: "If I go down over water, I'm done for. I'm assuming the Liger's the same way."
OvermanZs1: [Akito] The monster makes no effort to dodge, as the bullets squish into it's weird wet body. It makes some strange roar similar to stock sfx from a bad movie. It's tentacle whips up and points at the pink Aestivalis and opens fire with lasers! (react)
fenrirarma: "The Wahrheit's already capable of closing that distance... Would you all be fine on your own while we head to Walking Stick?"
OvermanZs1: [Kamille] You proceed onward (Casting Accel?) In your charge, you see a glint in the distance approaching (dodge)
UltimateSalsa: Van: "More than likely. I think the island's a little too far away to swim to... We'll have to go there first."
HyprKnux1: Akito: CRAAAAAAAAAP! *the Aestivalis awkwardly tries to dodge the lasers, hoping those he can't dodge will be blocked by his machines barrier

ShaunGarin: Dita nods over her screen. "I'll be fine. If anything I'll call in reinforcements from the Nirvana. Our dread team is on standby."
OvermanZs1: (Van, Andre!)
OvermanZs1: [Akito] The monster doesn't aim very cast, and the laser just barely misses the sled. Lucky!
fenrirarma: "Very well... I'll assist Kamille when I can."
OvermanZs1: [Kamille] A laser whizes by, hitting the water with a massive splash. Also, very lucky to not get hit there.
UltimateSalsa: *Van sighs. "Dry land it is then. I can take a shot while I pass by, though...!" Van takes aim with the Liger's cannons and fires once at... he's not even sure what he can do damage to, but he'll take aim at whatever he can hit. He'll throw up the Liger's shields and boost away afterward.

OvermanZs1: [Van] The creature roars out and, lights up for a second... like a bad nightlight. It doesn't even flinch, but it's tentacle is tracking you... Like you're a delicious snack, it starts following along.
ShaunGarin: Dita keyed in her image to Yurika. "I can fight over it. Does that help?"
OvermanZs1: [Andre] Another stock footage roar as the tentacle blindly fires back at the Zilla. The knives stick in the body,sinking in with an icky squish (react)
HyprKnux1: Akito: "I think at a time like this we could have used one of the Getters!
OvermanZs1: (Alexei, Rinon, Dita)
Dessa-chan: Rinon shivered slightly thinking of the Getters, and that last mission...
UltimateSalsa: Van keys his communications to the Nadesico. "Not me! I'm going to proceed onto- oh boy, this is gonna be bad!" He sees the tentacle coming behind but there's not a whole lot he can do to stop it.

ColorKidLalaPink: Yurika nods. "Just hurry up, and save most of your energy for the Walking Stick, okay?"
ShaunGarin: *"All right, I'm going to head towards the WalkingStick." Firing her engines, Dita took off towards the massive Jovian weapon, hoping to get there first with her superior speed. She really wished she had the dread team scrambled.
Dessa-chan: *"I'm headed to the island, too, I'm next to useless out here." Rinon, however, spotted the tentacle following Van, an fired her shock cannon at it. He might not've been a Blitz Team member, but he was still a Zoid Warrior.
fenrirarma: Alexei nods, at least raising one arm and firing a quartet of missiles to the creature before turning and continuing his Overd Boost towards Kamille and that sniper fire. He was at least going to soften up those ground forces before the others arrived.
HyprKnux1: Akito: "...heading forward, I got most of the weaponry here, so..."
selfkun: Andre: "I guess I'll annoy squishy for a bit."
OvermanZs1: [Dita] As you ignore the monster-thingy, the shots from the shore become more frequent; artillery fire from the banks of the island! (React)
ShaunGarin: *Pulling her dread into several spins, she tucks the machine into a barrel roll while pushing the front shields up a little to withstand anything that hit. "Getting pretty thick out here. We've got bogeys in the weeds!" She giggled at that.
OvermanZs1: [Alexei] The missiles have no problem hitting the enemy, aside that many of which don't lock on due to lack of an actual heat source. Those that do hit make it roar out, as well as glow. It turns it's attention away from Van and heads for teh Wahrheit. The tentacle whips around and fires away (react)
OvermanZs1: [Dita] Rounds strike the shield as she often dodges into other fire. A massive lazer grazes over the Dread, nearly overloading the shields
ShaunGarin: "Whoa! Okay, going to stick to the dodging."
fenrirarma: Alexei notices the incoming tentacle. He makes sure his Primal Armor is up so that the tentacle won't feel good if it does indeed grab him, but still quick dashes, at the expense of cutting his Overd Boost early.
OvermanZs1: [Rinon] As the round just barely strikes the monster as it changes it's course, slowly, the creature flops in the air a moment, even glowing a bit.
For a moment it wobbles and warps... then starts to stretch. The tentacle starts ripping in half.
OvermanZs1: There are now TWO (slightly smaller) monsters floating about.
Dessa-chan: Rinon: "Crap..."
selfkun: Andre: "That.... Is so freaken cool!"
OvermanZs1: [Alexei] The tentacle whiffs it's first swing, and gets closer on the second, this time firing as it strikes by. Fortunately, the primal armor holds against the laser, if pressuring it.
OvermanZs1: (Akito, Kamille)
blackmagerulz101@gmail.com: *"We just need to get in close, weave confusion in their ranks!" And Kamille intends to do that, by jerking the flying armor's rear end into the ocean, and artificially creating waves.
UltimateSalsa: Van looks back. "Thanks for the assist! But... this is getting bad really fast!"
HyprKnux1: Akito: "Duplicating monsters, heavy artillery, what else is out there?!" Akito begins to... bank slightly right, firing more of his Rapid Rifle and hoping to hit whatever's over there.
fenrirarma: "Amusingly enough... this doesn't seem as absurd as what we normally have..."
OvermanZs1: [Kamille] The tactic seems to work for the most part, many shots mis-aimed from the Gundam. But not all the enemies are that foolish. A massive laser smashes through the flying armor, destroying it outright! The Gundam... is very lucky.
You fall into the ocean about 75 meters from shore (you can pretty much walk)

OvermanZs1: [Akito] Your shots don't have the velocity to hit your enemies from that far away. On the plus side, the heavy armor of your set up protects you from much of the lesser fire that does hit. Repeated shots ARE knocking you off balance as a massive lazer is clearly incoming (React)
OvermanZs1: Only an hour remains for the operation, but fortunately, at least one of you (up to this point) has made it close enough to shore to see what's pelting into you from afar.

ShaunGarin: *Dita reacted immediately to Akito being targeted, activating her weapons as she fired a salvo of missiles into the enemies, as well as targetting any shots that were too big.

OvermanZs1: [Akito] The laser still strikes the Sled, certainly dropping the Aestivalis into the water. Still, his armor protects him from any real damage.
[Dita] The salvo of artillery does not defend against the massive laser fired from the shore...

HyprKnux1: Akito: "Great... I guess I'll see you on the other end!" And he starts to use his boosters to not belly flop onto the water. He probably has a long walk ahead of him.
OvermanZs1: (only 100 meters under water in heavy armor)
UltimateSalsa: *Van gawks at the sheer volume of incoming fire. "This is ridiculous! How are we supposed to fight this many enemies!? Gah... C'mon, Zeke, we're charging through!" Van puts as much juice into the boosters as he can, shield still up, and is hoping nothing gets in his way.
HyprKnux1: (Oh, well that's wonderful! He'll be out of there in 3 or 4 weeks or so XD)

selfkun: Andre: "If I were on land these squishy things would be no problem. Ok, you giant squishy piles of low budget movie trash! Come on! Try and catch me!" *Andre throws an exploding knife at each of them and proceeds to taunt them by waving Zilla'a ass at the tentacles, hopefully drawing them into the other enemy's line of fire.*

ShaunGarin: (Gattai to save him the trouble of walking)
OvermanZs1: [Van!] Your charge goes unstopped, as the main arillery is busy recharging. You, good sir, make it to shore in tact. (Action again)
OvermanZs1: (Akito: Permission to Gattai)
HyprKnux1: (Permission Granted! Vandred Aestivalis is a go!)
ShaunGarin: (YAY)
OvermanZs1: (Aesti-Dred, gattai sequence go)
ShaunGarin: *"Akito! Hold on I'm coming!" And Dita wheels her Dread around and blazes towards him. A shining light flares from her machine as she barrels headlong into Akito's mecha!
OvermanZs1: [Andre] The explosions from the knives makes the monsters glow. Sweet delicious energyfood! Both tentacle'd weirdos turn toward the Zilla and start firing lasers from ther little tendicles

HyprKnux1: Akito: "H-huh?! What in the...?!" He watches in surprise as Dita's Dread comes at him, glowing. "Dita, what are you doing?!"
OvermanZs1: [Dita] You also suck up a lot of water as you gattai-nom the Armored Aesti
selfkun: *Andre maneuvers the sled around to try to dodge all the lasers. and throws 2 more exploding knives at them.* "Come on come on come on!!! Entertain me already! Do something! Hit me! Shoot me out of the sky! Or atleast roar in a duet!"
OvermanZs1: (Initative will be re-arranged at this point)
ShaunGarin: In a flashy show, the Aresti forms up, shrinking down and docking into the cockpit. Water blasts everywhere as it is incorporated into the mix, forming into a shining blue-red machine that does a few punches and kicks before striking a pose! The Aresti-Vandread is born, and Dita... is sitting on Akito's lap.
OvermanZs1: (Alexei, Leena♥, action!)
ShaunGarin: (Abilities now include, Pexis cannons, and hydrocannon)
UltimateSalsa: *Van lands and brings down the air support platforms and looks around, taking a cannon shot at whatever's close and threatening while he assesses the situation.
Dessa-chan: Rinon: *in her cockpit, blushes in rememberance of when it happened to her*
Dessa-chan: ((how close is Rinon from shore?))
HyprKnux1: Akito: H-Huh?! *and he blinks and blushes as he notices Dita in his lap* Ah, um... th-thanks...

ShaunGarin: "Not a problem! Now let's get going!" She interlaces his hands with hers and fires up the engines.
ShaunGarin: Well whaddya know, it can fly on its own power now.
OvermanZs1: [Van] You open fire upon the numerable tanks, but being SO MUCH BIGGER than a tank, one shot means one down, scattering Jovian and Federation tank bits about. But i nthat, you draw fire from several other tanks (react)
ColorKidLalaPink: Meanwhile, somewhere in the vicinity, Yurika's harem sense is going off. She grumbles and marches off to try and figure out how not to get us all killed.
OvermanZs1: (It can fly... slowly. You're HEAVILY ARMORED now)
Dessa-chan: *Rinon pushed the sled as hard as it would go, angling for shore, and shooting from her missile pods at anything unfriendly on shore (and hopefully not anything friendly, but, well, she's not the best at aiming).
OvermanZs1: Inez: "I have some bad new for you." (both to Yurika on board, and everyone else)
HyprKnux1: Akito: "R-Right...!" While trying not to be utterly awkward, he helps Dita in trying to fly out of the water and rejoin the others.
OvermanZs1: (mostly for Yurika though)
fenrirarma: Alexei still isn't in missile lock distance.. this isn't good. This equipment just doesn't have the range that is needed for something like this. Regardless, he sends another quartet of missiles to the mainland. Not trying to hit anything in particular, but to throw them off.
UltimateSalsa: *Van has the Liger execute a jump to the side, throwing the shield back up. "There sure are a lot of them... This 'WalkingStick' must be pretty important if all these people are here!"
OvermanZs1: [Alexei] The missiles draw fire from the tanks, promting them all to get shot down long before they reach land, but it's drawn fire away from the Wahrheit
OvermanZs1: Inez: "The "WalkingStick" is waking up. I can't tell you how soon it will fire again, but it's next shot will be far worse. "
selfkun: Andre: "So? We'll just blow it up."
ShaunGarin: Dita keys in a comm screen to the Nadesico. "Akito and I have formed up. We should head straight for it and finish it in one blow! Right, Akito?"
ColorKidLalaPink: Yurika stares.
ColorKidLalaPink: And visibly twitches.
OvermanZs1: [Rinon] Being a nice heavy-artillery unit, the best of your shots reach shore, catching one of the Barrelions in the face. Not htat it's face is necessary. However, your lack of aim has put KAMILLE in danger (React, Kamille)
ColorKidLalaPink: Yurika: ".................Is that necessary!?"
HyprKnux1: Akito: "R-Right..."
OvermanZs1: Inez: "The next black hole will eliminate the entire area, and saturate the surrounding area with lethal gamma radiation"
ShaunGarin: Dita has all the question marks.
HyprKnux1: Akito: What, WHAT?!
OvermanZs1: (How many question marks, Dita?)
ShaunGarin: (like five billion)
selfkun: Andre: "black hole. blah blah. gamma blah. post apocalyptic mutant genre."
ColorKidLalaPink: Yurika: "Yes, yes, Ms. Fressange! Can't you ever tell us anything positive for a change?"

OvermanZs1: [Oops, sorry Andre] More knives stick into the monsters and explode, but, with each explosion, they glow and roar. NOT IN UNISON FOR YOU. They're not intersting at all.
They wobble and warp again as they divide. Now, you have FOUR, noticably smaller, monsters trying to follow you. And they're getting faster! (react)
OvermanZs1: [Aesti-Dread] As you get closer to land and open fire, most of the tanks turn toward and open fire themselves, pelting the Dread with heavy shells. They're determined to not let you through (react)

selfkun: *Andre gets an idea.* "If I blow you up.... You get smaller! OK THEN! Eat bombs and die boring pieces of trash! KEEP MY INTEREST!!!!!!" *And with that, Andre throws as many exploding knives as he has left. Whatever that number is.*
OvermanZs1: [Andre] Throwing them wildly means you'll be missing a lot of them. But some do hit, and their resulting explosions are better engulfing the monsters. Still they seem to glow afterward. When their tentacles open fire, it's like a laser light show... OF DOOM (react)
ShaunGarin: *"You're not getting in our way!" Dita pulls the Aesti-Dread into a tight spin as she pours on the speed, the Pexis Cannons firing again as one of them shifts to the arm in sword configuration, getting in close as the other cannon shifted to its arm as it went in for melee, water swirling around it combined with pexis energy.
selfkun: *Andre tries his best to weave and dash through the lasers, avoiding as much as possible but isn't complaining if he gets hit here and there.* "Come on..... follow me to shore now..... Andre has an idea!" *cue bizarrely sinister laugh*
OvermanZs1: [Dita] The tanks are VERY TINY compared to the Dread. Crushing them is of no issue, and easily done, but their numbers and focus of artillery isn't helping. The combined fire does enough damage to the canon arm that it's completely useless at this point.
OvermanZs1: (Kamille, Van)
HyprKnux1: Akito: C-Crap! Dita, we're gonna need to go a little eaiser here! Can't fight back without arms!
OvermanZs1: [Andre] Lasers are starting to tear into Zilla's legs and tail. But, easily enoguh they're following along, raving their tentacle lasers about and wanting more delicious energynoms

OvermanZs1: [Kamille] You only get ONE Barrelion to attack (as the other is not close at all) The slow moving machine can't get a lock on so close and gets carved into, nearly engulfing the MK II in the resulting explosion
UltimateSalsa: *Van charges deeper into the island. Spotting a Barrelion in his way, he makes a dash-by cut with his laser blades, shield still up but not at full power.

OvermanZs1: [Van] The Liger dashes through, slicing into the Barrelions's legs, toppling it over as you run by. The tanks, in their annoying number, keep up the pressure, almost guiding you as they keep firing (react)
OvermanZs1: (four, and probably the sizes of the Aestivalis (which is pretty small iirc) )
OvermanZs1: (Andre, Alexei) (Alexei, you are totally within missile range of stuff)

UltimateSalsa: *"Uh-oh!" Not seeing any better option, Van flares the shield one more time and plows through the tanks, firing missiles as he runs by and taking his blades to anything he can reach without stopping.
OvermanZs1: (yeah, you too)
selfkun: *Andre's stomach growls.Once Andre is close enough to the shore, he lands to wait for the starfish monsters. His plan is simple, wait till the first one gets within range, tackle it, and then have Zilla eat it. Then he'll attack the others.*
OvermanZs1: [Van] Being as big as the Liger is compared to the tanks, the blades hit nothing. The shield tramples through the tanks though, easily. You can SEE the WalkingStick glowing and charging
fenrirarma: Alexei pulls open his back missile pods. Oh, this was going to be fun. All 16 missile pods open up on both of them, his targeting screen lighting up as each one is locked on quickly. "Time to level the playing field!" Within an instant, a plethora of missiles erupt from the Wahrheit's back parts, sending flare after flare of missiles at the tanks below!
OvermanZs1: [Andre] The first starfish is easy enough to tackle, but, as you start eating into the monster, the other three are lasering you up pretty good! (react, or keep eating)
selfkun: *Andre keeps eating, using his meal as a shield while scarfing down on it..... It looks rather disgusting i'd imagine.*

OvermanZs1: [Alexei] Missiles rain down everywhere. the mass majority of them hit their marks, but the blanket of missiles will certainly put his allies in a bit of danger. Van, Kamille, and Dita are all within the are of blanketing (and should react thusly)
On the upside, the Jovians would be lucky if only one tank was left

ShaunGarin: "Right!" And Dita pulled Vandread Akito high into the air so that they had a clear shot of the Walking Stick. "Weapon's at 72%! We should be ready to fire in a second more!"
OvermanZs1: [Andre] The single starfish isn't big enough to provide full cover. The Zilla loses a tail and a foot before finishing eating the first starfish monster
selfkun: Andre: "I lost a foot! When it grows back I am going to totally kick your asses!!!!"
OvermanZs1: [Kamille, Van, Dita] The three of you manage to escape the shower without incident. Only one thing remains to be done.

OvermanZs1: The black hole canon is glowing, the barell warping the ari around it so... it looks like it's bending light around it... Looking pretty dangerous

Dessa-chan: *Rinon finally reached land, and got off the ridiculous sleds as soon as she did. "Alright, here we--" Rinon notices the Zilla under attack. "Heads up over there!" and released a round from her Megalo Max Assault Cannons.
UltimateSalsa: Van: "That doesn't look good... we're running out of time!"
OvermanZs1: [Dita] With one damaged arm, one of the spinning fists wanes before hitting the walking stick. In the impact that results, the canon rolls over on it's side, but it still looks to be charging!
Wait... no... the charging starts to dissipate... slowly the canon is shutting down.
