(9:41:39 PM): [Haman] The idea of concentrating firepower on just one at a time is a solid idea, and the beams still overwhelm the Zaku as it tries to dodge, but first an arm goes and then a leg! And finally the whole machien goes up in smoke as the other machines all fan out... one of them throwing a fragmentation grenade at the grouping of funnels!

(9:44:13 PM): [Haman] The grenade explodes, releasing a rain of shrapnel! Thankfully the Qubeley's an agile machine... but the same can't be said for some of its funnels as they struggle in Earth, and two of them are torn apart by the weapon!

(9:47:15 PM): [Kou] The beam rifle shot drills through the air straight at the Zaku as it tries to evade... but just as it almost seems like the Zaku gets hit straight on... it suddenly jerks to the side and out of the way! You could have sworn in the storm you saw something fire from its leg a moment before... but it didn't look like any thrusters!

(9:49:51 PM): [Char] Distracted pilot *is* indeed distracted, and the blast does blow through it... but all of the other machines suddenly spring back and backpedal from the explosion... just before you come under far more concentrated fire than before!

Taking advantage of the flash from the explosion and low visibility, Char boosts into the air, and makes a beeline for the blockade ships. Time to reenact the Battle of Loum.

Drawing his own beam saber with its free arm, Char uses the momentum of his boost to attempt to parry the blow, while firing a point-blank shot from the beam rifle in its other hand straight into the cockpit.

(9:57:04 PM): [Vigil] Some of the Zaku and Dom units do open fire on you... but none of them manage to inflict serious damage before you vanish before their eyes. And when you reappear...

(9:58:42 PM): [Char] The attack *is* parried quite easily... but as you fire suddenly the Dom jerks to the side and for a moment, you can see it! That was a... Slash Harken mounted on their leg? The Dom doesn't get away unharmed, though, and the shot still blows off an arm... but that thing really did zip away quickly!
(9:59:40 PM): [Gai] The Blue Frame is wise to raise its shield... because shortly after whatever you saw hit it... it exploded! You're sent hurtling back, the Blue Frame's shield damaged as the Zaku recalls the device.

He would attack the Zaku, but a tear in the Aether Wall takes precidence! +

And at once the Gelgoog's suddenly closed the distance, slashing out and lopping off one of the Qubeley's arms!

(11:30:42 PM): A hole's blown into it and the Gelgoog crashes into the base... and a split-second later shoots out from its hangar as the shuttle rockets off into the air, the Gelgoog being up along with it!

He then drops the beam rifle, and GRABS the GP-01, before slamming on the jump boost as the machine starts overheating. "Boost off me! Take down that shuttle!"

"Almost... there!" As he gets as close as he can, he takes aim with his Beam Rifle, tries to line up the shot... and FIRES!+

(11:41:51 PM): The shuttle, the Gelgoog... it all becomes just one massive burst of fire... the smallest bits of scrap falling back to the ground.

(9:59:40 PM): [Gai] The Blue Frame is wise to raise its shield... because shortly after whatever you saw hit it... it exploded! You're sent hurtling back, the Blue Frame's shield damaged as the Zaku recalls the device.

And but a heartbeat afterwards... the regeneration to the monster suddenly stops. And almost as if it knows what has just happened, the creature turns its head to you, shooting out its drill in a defiant act of vengeance!

Dominator grows, rising up, larger and larger, it's head...about midway up the UAB's body, actually. But it's oversized fists start to pound into the creature, landing blow on forceful blow into it, not caring if it's counterattacked - in the mode, it would simply repair the damage, as long as the cockpit's not hit. She attempts to force the thing down, back towards the shuttle. "DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE! DIE!!!"+

(11:30:42 PM): A hole's blown into it and the Gelgoog crashes into the base... and a split-second later shoots out from its hangar as the shuttle rockets off into the air, the Gelgoog being up along with it!

He then drops the beam rifle, and GRABS the GP-01, before slamming on the jump boost as the machine starts overheating. "Boost off me! Take down that shuttle!"

The shuttle's not as distant now, but already you can see the fire beginning to light up in its secondary boosters!

"Almost... there!" As he gets as close as he can, he takes aim with his Beam Rifle, tries to line up the shot... and FIRES!+

(11:41:20 PM): [Kou] It's a one-in-a-million gambit. Fortunately those kinds always succeed. The beam rifle pierces straight through the shuttle... and as GP-01 falls back to Earth... there's a spark inside of the shuttle... promptly followed by a spectacular explosion.
(11:41:51 PM): The shuttle, the Gelgoog... it all becomes just one massive burst of fire... the smallest bits of scrap falling back to the ground.
