(9:52:05 PM): The city, as Mio would probably see very quickly, has seen better days. Heck, for a region that's allegedly been walled off from the rest of the world it looks like it's had its fair share of recent battles.

(9:53:55 PM): Anyways, thanks to Vigil being able to do the work of more than a few other crewmen, the transport is finally all set up and it heads down into the city, to stop at a cleared-away section in front of a damaged but still-standing mall.

(9:55:16 PM): After a bit of adjusting the craft finally settles down and the bay doors open, and at the same time a few people can be seen coming out of the mall.
(9:55:55 PM): Suspiciously, there's only one adult among them. Everyone else is a teenager at best and there's more than a few children with them too. None of them are remarkably clean.

(10:05:39 PM): Well, one out of three isn't that bad. Especially since Vigil is making the lives of his charges easier and that Devon lady is nothing but an annoyance. He leads Mio inside of the devestated mall. It's certainly no wonderful place of commerce, but it's done its job even if it is rather dirty and suffering from poor maintenance.

(10:16:06 PM): Detecting no Unbound Aether, Vigil nonetheless determines that the slime city takes priority over moving boxes. As such he stops what he's doing, and a 7 foot metallic sphere appears in the air, opens in half and he darts into it before it closes, encasing him inside. He then moves to an outside location where he can summon his weaver without breaking or hurting someone.

(10:33:38 PM): [Joshua] The more humanoid Nightmares quickly move and fall back, easily falling for the feint and getting bunched up nice and together. The blob though just seems to keep rolling forward and tanking the shots. They cut into it, clearly injuring it although not enough to take it down.

(10:36:36 PM): *Vigil charges towards the three smaller nightmares, there isn't much he can do against the giant blob at the moment after all. Considering Joshua's statements and having little reason to disregard them he decides to weave a large cylinder of Aether and proceeds to attempt to bat them towards Joshua's line of fire. If he can injure them in the process? All the better. +

(10:42:39 PM): [Vigil] The bat crashed hard into the two more humanoid Nightmares. Half of a world of hurt was still a whole lot of hurt, and the two were knocked down and closer to Joshua. The bird one, however, was more than a touch nimbler and managed to slip over the attack before lunging at the Patronus. It swiped a claw at the machine... only for said limb to suddenly burst open into a gigantic second mouth, filled with rows of teeth, aiming to bite and crush the machine.

(10:43:52 PM): *Readying her machine gun, Mio takes a quick glance using her magic eye before covering it again. Leaving the humanoid's to Vigil and Devon, she opens fire on the cityblob. She circles it, most shots going for center mass, but a few stray to herd it along, if it will play along.

(10:45:41 PM): *Fighting Unbound Aether Beasts, Vigil is not unaccustomed to this sort of thing. So he darts back quickly while throwing his needles into the mouth to try and stave it off. He continued to make and throw more needles as he backs away from the nightmare. +

(10:46:29 PM): [Mio] That it isn't. The blob keeps on rolling forward, continuing to be hammered by the shots. They're not as powerful as Joshua's were, not being made from an ANIMa, but they are still having an effect. That is, before suddenly a human being just suddenly appears right in the course of one of the shots that entered the blob and screaming right before they got shot.

(10:47:42 PM): [Mio, continued] Then all of a sudden, more and more of the blob began to fill up with people, cars, even relatively small sheds, all suspended in the blob. Right before a tentacle shoots out at Mio.

(10:48:12 PM): *Devon starts to shimmer - and then her whole armored body turns transparent. But from her perspective, it's the world that changes because she Shifted. In a single, ridiculously long leap, she jumps atop one of the humanoid enemies' shoulder.&

(10:48:23 PM): *Mio lowers her gun for a moment, opening her covered eye to the civialian she just shot... IS that a real person? The tentacle jars her from her wonder as she quickly throws up her shield and begins to drift back. +

(10:50:30 PM): [Vigil] Needles that do half damage against a gigantic, hungry mouth is not a good match-up. The needles do stab into its flesh, somewhat, but they do very little to slow it down. And then... the creature bites at the Patronus. But it seems the "half damage" mechanic goes both ways, and the rows of seemingly jagged teeth do scar the machine somewhat, but couldn't bite in far enough to get a good grip. The Patronus escapes.
(10:51:54 PM): [Mio] The tentacle just barely misses you, but the massive quantity of people and things inside of the blob isn't going down at all

Powerful but straighforward punches and kicks aim at whatever looks like the weakest point, but Devon tries to avoid the mouth if there is one. Just in case.+

Blushing, she pushes down on her skirt. She floats upwards more, above the robot, when it suddenly moves forwards and she starts falling!
Riiight into an open hatch on the robot's back. It closes up behind her, and she's left floating in a small cockpit. There are some screens in front of her, handles by her side, and pedals where her feet would go. The screens light up, displaying "Prometheus-1 IMBER" before they switch to a view of the world outside.

Anyone who didn't notice at this point, will obviously see that the Parietis Patronus' feet are actually hands. Cue charge towards the bird and... insert SPINNING PHYSICS! Just ask Superman, spinning solves everything! Especially when swords and thus blending is involved. +

(11:42:28 PM): [Vigil] Oh, the birdman had most definitely brought a spork to a knife-fight. It tries to fly away, but it's a tad too slow and thus gets slammed hard by the first blade. It doesn't cut in as much as a sword that sharp should, but it still slams the Nightmare into a building. The creature scrambles, trying to fight back and opening its mouth to seemingly scream... just in time for a brilliant flash to light up in its mouth before shooting out at the Patronus.

He then moves to an outside location where he can summon his weaver without breaking or hurting someone.

(10:42:39 PM): [Vigil] The bat crashed hard into the two more humanoid Nightmares. Half of a world of hurt was still a whole lot of hurt, and the two were knocked down and closer to Joshua. The bird one, however, was more than a touch nimbler and managed to slip over the attack before lunging at the Patronus. It swiped a claw at the machine... only for said limb to suddenly burst open into a gigantic second mouth, filled with rows of teeth, aiming to bite and crush the machine.

They're not as powerful as Joshua's were, not being made from an ANIMa, but they are still having an effect. That is, before suddenly a human being just suddenly appears right in the course of one of the shots that entered the blob and screaming right before they got shot.

(10:50:30 PM): [Vigil] Needles that do half damage against a gigantic, hungry mouth is not a good match-up. The needles do stab into its flesh, somewhat, but they do very little to slow it down. And then... the creature bites at the Patronus. But it seems the "half damage" mechanic goes both ways, and the rows of seemingly jagged teeth do scar the machine somewhat, but couldn't bite in far enough to get a good grip. The Patronus escapes.

At the same time though, the creature seems to flail a little and, as the two fall into the water, grabs tightly at the ANIMa's arms and starts to try to crush it

(11:37:36 PM): *Haruka just sits there for a moment, before she realizes that she's not on the robot's hand anymore. She's floating now, along with all sorts of random pebbles, and in the slightly unfortunate position of having her legs spread out in front of the robot's face.
Blushing, she pushes down on her skirt. She floats upwards more, above the robot, when it suddenly moves forwards and she starts falling!
Riiight into an open hatch on the robot's back. It closes up behind her, and she's left floating in a small cockpit. There are some screens in front of her, handles by her side, and pedals where her feet would go. The screens light up, displaying "Prometheus-1 IMBER" before they switch to a view of the world outside.

Anyone who didn't notice at this point, will obviously see that the Parietis Patronus' feet are actually hands. Cue charge towards the bird and... insert SPINNING PHYSICS! Just ask Superman, spinning solves everything! Especially when swords and thus blending is involved. +

(11:42:28 PM): [Vigil] Oh, the birdman had most definitely brought a spork to a knife-fight. It tries to fly away, but it's a tad too slow and thus gets slammed hard by the first blade. It doesn't cut in as much as a sword that sharp should, but it still slams the Nightmare into a building. The creature scrambles, trying to fight back and opening its mouth to seemingly scream... just in time for a brilliant flash to light up in its mouth before shooting out at the Patronus.

One of the largest bits cut off seems to stir slightly before suddenly looping up and quickly spiraling around Devon. A half-second and a giant green fist shoots out to punch at Deon from behind!
