[20:37] Nerdorama09: And two of the crew are in jail because one of them is a silly penguin
[20:37] Nerdorama09: What's everyone up to?
[20:38] Aero: Ichitaka is still in a fancy Neo American Prison with Haruka
[20:38] Nerdorama09: (Specifically Julia, Technica, Alessandra, Roger, Ichitaka, Michael, and Haruka if she wants to make a cameo)
[20:38] Nerdorama09: (OR join in. I didn't really follow that conversation because it was interrupted by X-Com)
[20:38] Steam: Julia is taking a short respite from piloting while the technicians outfit her Corona with red, white, and blue fireworks!
[20:38] Cubey: Alessandra is enjoying the show - everything looks so new and exciting, and the president seems like a great kind of guy. She didn't even notice Haruka and Ichitaka being imprisoned, and if she did she'd thought it's standard occurence or something.
[20:39] Steam: She is also nomming on an energy bar
[20:39] Arach: Harka is busy debating whether to summon Imber and stage a jailbreak or not
[20:39] Arach: Because his key looks an awful lot like useless plastic to people who don't know about it
[20:39] Zappa: MarKus is finishing up some work on Technica's damaged neck. Cuz he's been putting it off in favor of mackin on Shirley

[20:40] Lichi: Roger: "So, how's AMERICA's military strength nowadays, sir? It sure does look gosh darn impressive I must say!"

[20:43] Nerdorama09: As if to prove Michael's point, there do seem to be a lot of military vehicles and tanks assembling near the show. In parade formation. Probably.
[20:45] Lichi: Roger stares at the parade...
[20:45] Nerdorama09: (Just to establish, where is MarKus? On board the White Chalice, in port, or at a shop or something near the downtown area where the show is happening?)
[20:45] Zappa: (On the Chalice)
[20:45] Lichi: Roger: "Mr. President, oh, I wish I could stay here ..."
[20:46] Lichi: Roger: "Haaah... When the good fight is through..."
[20:46] Nerdorama09: Suddenly, regardless of where you are, the area is rocked with explosions!
[20:46] Cubey: Alessandra: "Oh my! Such pyrotechnics! Is this a part of the show, too?"
[20:46] Aero: Ichitaka: I don't think that's good...
[20:46] Nerdorama09: The largest and most obvious one punches a hole in the colony's transparent upper shell above the downtown capital area
[20:47] Lichi: Roger: "Yeesh! Wh-what was that?"
[20:47] Arach: "No…Ichitaka, how bad do you think it would be if we broke out?"
[20:47] Steam: Julia's knocked off her feet and in complete confusion. "W-what?"
[20:47] Nerdorama09: Several more also go off around the prison and various other areas of the city however
[20:47] Zappa: This is MarKus swearing as he tries not to fall off the neck of the Technica.
[20:47] Lichi: Roger: "This is no simple accident...! Someone has to do something, and fast!"
[20:47] Aero: "Well considering we're imprisoned for attempted assassination of the President of a entire colony I don't think it'd be that bad."
[20:47] Arach: (Give me a second, gonna go grab a power cord)
[20:47] Cubey: Alessandra's arms wave around as she struggles to keep her balance in the face of subsequent explosions.
[20:47] Steam: Looking around, she grabs one of Herrera's event list books. "What's going on? We didn't have anything planned right now!"

[20:48] Lichi: Roger: "Mis, Mister President!?"
[20:48] Nerdorama09: Above the Mall (let's say that;s where the show is right now), a half-dozen mobile suits can be seen crashing down towards landing in the aritificial gravity!
[20:49] Lichi: Roger: "...!! Mr. President, you have to get to safety!"
[20:49] Nerdorama09: Five (Link: http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/0083/ms-14f.jpg)Gelgoog Marines painted in various shades of black and gray are each carrying single-shot rocket launchers, which they fire toward the crowded amphitheater!
[20:49] Lichi: Roger begins frantically looking for the best route to evacuate the President of Neo America.

[20:50] Steam: Gelgoogs? But those had been decommissioned years ago! But that means...

[20:51] Nerdorama09: Explosions rock the stadium!

[20:52] Nerdorama09: As the dust clears, you are all okay, but the area is wrecked, many civilians are dead, and the two Herrera mechs that were out doing a demonstration are blasted to pieces
[20:52] Zappa: Well, this looks dangerous! Meaning MarKus is going to go change during all this outdoor commotion! DASH!
[20:52] Steam: Realizing just how dangerous things are going to get in the next few minutes, Julia's eyes scan around. The only Herrera machine she can use is her Corona...
[20:52] Aero: Ichitaka nods. "Sounds like whatever going on is already causing trouble I'm sure they won't notice us breaking out."
[20:53] Nerdorama09: ????: "Attention decadent humans!"
[20:53] vertigojockey@gmail.com: Michael:...[Got up from the ground, a sickened ANGRY look on his face.] "Roger. Help me get to Metal Wolf" [his fist tightened. They killed AMERICAN citizens. THey were gonna PAY]

[20:54] Lichi: Roger salutes!
[20:54] Lichi: Roger: "Whatever you say, Mr. President! How can i assist you best?"
[20:54] Nerdorama09: Bairoft: "I am Bairoft Giryilel! I have no demands today, so just prepare to die!"
[20:54] Arach: "Okay then…" She takes out the key, and kisses it softly, causing it to glow. And back on the White Chalice, Imber boots up and promptly flips the fuck out, flying at the hangar doors and trying to pry them open.
[20:54] Nerdorama09: (Meanwhile!)
[20:54] Steam: Julia's eyes wide in disbelief...
[20:55] Nerdorama09: Imber does some serious damage to the White Chalice, but gets out.
[20:55] Steam: "Bairoft... so far into the Earth Sphere?"
[20:55] Nerdorama09: The explosion near the prison did a number on the maximum security wing where Ichitaka and Haruka are being held. With some climbing, they could easily escape in the confusion!
[20:55] Cubey: "One shall not escape unscathed after this show of barbarity!" Alessandra witnessed everything from a distance, and she knows what must be done. To Memento Mori!
[20:56] vertigojockey@gmail.com: Michael: [Points to the direction where the Power-Suit was left.] "I need to get over there. Fast. Do you think you can do anything to keep them from seeing me and hurting more people?"
[20:56] Arach: From there he'll be making a beeline for Haruka and Ichitaka. And I mean that literally, colony walls are only barriers if you let them be ones. Haruka, for her part, will start climbing up the rubble and out, giving Ichitaka a hand where he needs it.
[20:57] Nerdorama09: Fortunately for itself, Neo-America is a fairly open-interiored colony.
[20:57] Lichi: Roger: "I can try to get you there in Hildebrand. There's nothing safer, sure thing."
[20:57] vertigojockey@gmail.com: Michael: "Then lets go for it!"
[20:57] Aero: Ichitaka cracks his knuckle climbing up the rubble as well. "I never thought I'd be making a jailbreak in my life." He makes some good time on the climb although it took him a bit to catch up to Haruka.
[20:58] Nerdorama09: The center of Neo-Washington, DC is in a great deal of wreck and panic. Fortunately, the hole where Bairoft's crew blasted their way in is small, and automated systems are already repairing it.
[20:59] Lichi: Roger signals Michael to follow him to the closer machine, the tall and proud Super Zwei Hildebrand, Kaiser of Modern War, then hookshots up.
[20:59] Nerdorama09: (Everyone but Michael can get to their mechs now)
[20:59] Lichi: He quickly straps into the Marrionette System and then kneels down to let Michael step onto Hildebrand's hand.
[20:59] Aero: Ichitaka looks out at the arriving Imber. "Wow he got here really quickly..."
[21:00] vertigojockey@gmail.com: Michael: [Leaps onto Hildebrand's hand with surprising ease] "Lets mosey!"
[21:00] Cubey: Whomever has a video feed inside their mechs will now receive an image of Alessandra's face, looking really excited or perhaps distressed, it's hard to tell.
[21:00] Lichi: "Let's... Mosey!!!!"
[21:00] Zappa: Kamen Rider Technica is scrambling for the hangar now! And he gets in the freshly, mostly fixed, Technica
[21:00] Steam: Julia finally sees the Corona, miraculously still intact after the initial attack, and makes a break for it. "Please still work please still work please still work..."
[21:00] Cubey: Alessandra: "I suggest we go into the battle right this very instant! These people are quite rude in their efforts of trying to kill everyone, and we should stop them!"
[21:00] Lichi: Roger calls out as he pulls Michael up to the open cockpit, and seals it behind him as soon as he gets in.
[21:01] Nerdorama09: Julia is unnoticed by the enemy in her mad dash to the Corona. It even still works!
[21:01] Steam: Already she's realizing how dangerous this is going to get. All those exhibitions, all those presentations... those weren't life or death fights!
[21:01] Nerdorama09: Finally, the Neo-American military forces appear to be responding to the emergency...
[21:01] Arach: "Yep! Come on, it looks like we'll be needed…" And Imber bends down, letting the two hop inside and start to ride back towards the White Chalice, Ichitaka in Haruka's lap.
[21:02] Nerdorama09: ...except...they seem to be targeting whoever's nearest at hand
[21:02] Nerdorama09: Which is to say, Hildebrand
[21:02] vertigojockey@gmail.com: Michael: [Staying where he can't get in Roger's way. Tensed and awaiting the chance to deliver furious AMERICAN JUSTICE on the invaders. No not THOSE invaders! These ones!]
[21:03] Lichi: Bu-but Hildebrand is an American hero!
[21:03] Lichi: Just like G.I. Joe, but more real!

[21:04] Aero: Ichitaka ignores the slightly embarassing situation while riding back to the White Chalice. Once they get back he gets off and climbs into Rushbird taking his salvaged Railgun with him. "Thanks Haruka, now lets get out there."
[21:04] Nerdorama09: (Enemies: Tank x6, VTOL gunship x4, Gelgoog-M x5, Gyan (Bairoft))
[21:04] Nerdorama09: (Mission Objective: Get Michael to the hangar at the White House)
[21:04] Arach: Right! And the two will fly out, ready to smash the crap out of things!
[21:04] Lichi: Roger: Hildebrand, speakers, 50%, execute!
[21:05] Lichi: Roger: Tell'em, Mister President!
[21:05] Lichi: Hildebrand's speakers are now blaring over the area.
[21:05] Nerdorama09: (Roger react to being aimed at, Julia)
[21:06] Steam: Eyes quickly scanning the battlefield, Julia spots a miraculously-intact railgun and an HFM Blade within spitting distance of the Corona. "I can do this... I can do this..."
[21:06] vertigojockey@gmail.com: Michael: "This is President Michael Wilson! What are you guys doing!? You're supposed to be shooting the guys who broke into the colony!" [The utter rage in the President's voice is palpable]
[21:06] Lichi: Roger: "That's right! Don't misunderstand, I'm here to help, under the direct orders of the President!"
[21:07] Steam: *And after steeling her nerves Julia has the Corona grab up the railgun before snapping it up. She's done this before! It's just lining up a shot and pulling the trigger! She points the gun at one of the Gelgoogs and then fires!+
[21:07] Lichi: *Hildebrand tries to reason with the forces as it does its best to get to Metal Wolf Chaos.+
[21:07] Nerdorama09: [Roger and Michael] Maybe the tank commanders can't hear Michael, but regarldess, three of them open fire on Zwei Hildebrand with their main cannons (Roger react)
[21:08] Lichi: Roger: "Magnetic Attraction, execute!"
[21:08] Nerdorama09: [Julia] The mobile suit pilot is taken by surprise and knocked back, taking serious damage to an arm. It didn't think that test model was armed, let alone piloted.
[21:08] Lichi: ZweiHilde's electromagnets attempt to pull the fire into Hildebrand before the attacks hit something else!+
[21:08] Nerdorama09: Bairoft: "What, did one of those Herrera dogs survive? Smash that toy!"
[21:09] Lichi: *He also continues to move toward Metal Wolf Chaos.+
[21:09] Nerdorama09: Two Gelgoogs break off from Eupemizing Neo-American civilians to attack the Corona, one firing a machine gun as the other draws its two-bladed beam sword and attempts to slice Julia in half (react Julia)
[21:10] Steam: Julia's mouth goes dry. "B-but I had been aiming for the-" With a stressed huff she tries to focus before opening up the open comm.
[21:10] Steam: "Please... is anyone out there? There's still people that-w-whaa!"
[21:10] Lichi: #
[21:11] Nerdorama09: [Roger] Zwei Hildebrand gets knocked around and staggered a bit by the tank shells, but absorbing that kind of explosive is what it's made for!
[21:11] Nerdorama09: Roger can't concentrate enough to Double Kaiser under that many impacts, though.
[21:12] Lichi: Roger: "Guh!"
[21:12] Steam: * She practically freezes. This isn't just a show! Even if she tries to fight back she wouldn't know where to start... and yet all the same her hands move at the controls, activating the HFM Blade's vibrations and microwave emitters before charging forward and swatting at the Gelgoog using the beam sword!+
[21:12] Lichi: He rides the impacts that feed back as best he can. It's alright still!
[21:12] Lichi: Roger turns the speakers up to 100%.
[21:13] vertigojockey@gmail.com: Michael:.."HOLD YOUR FIRE DAMMIT! THIS IS A DIRECT ORDER FROM THE PRESIDENT!"
[21:13] Lichi: Roger: "You tell'em, Mr. President!"
[21:13] Lichi: He sounded a bit frantic.
[21:14] Nerdorama09: [Julia] Julia's move is executed with almost balletic precision. In a show, it would have been easy to follow and evade, but the Gelgoog pilot doesn't know the choreography. The HFM Blade slices through the clunky Gelgoog's sword, arms, and cockpit, leaving behind rather a mess.
[21:14] Steam: It's not until mid-parry that Julia is realizing what's happening. She saw that kind of slash before... or one close enough to it. And her body... her body remembered what to do. Or at least well enough...
[21:15] Nerdorama09: [Roger & Michael] They still aren't listening. Gosh it must be hard to hear in those tanks.
[21:15] Nerdorama09: (Alessandra)
[21:15] Cubey: *Suddenly, robot with a giant axe out of nowhere! Memento Mori is not as tall as a Gelgoog, but it's alright because Alessandra is willing and able to jump. Her colossal weapon is held high as she leaps on one of the Marines and tries to cleave its head and upper body into two neat, symmetrical pieces.+
[21:15] Lichi: Roger starts playing the message of the President on loop over radio.
[21:16] Nerdorama09: The surprise attack seems to throw this pilot as well. Its flailing defense barely nicks Memento Mori, but it does save it from being oneshotted. It will be hard-pressed to see in that state, though.
[21:17] Nerdorama09: One of the Gelgoogs also takes the time to open fire on Zwei Hildebrand with a machine gun, not knowing what Hildebrandium is (Roger react if you feel there's a point)
[21:17] Cubey: Alessandra: "Defend yourself! Memento Mori, in action!"
[21:17] Cubey: If she wanted to make this a fair fight, she probably should have said this BEFORE attacking though.

[21:18] Nerdorama09: One of the VTOL gunships breaks off from trying to cover Zwei Hildebrand to target Memento Mori, firing a heavy salvo of rockets toward Alessandra (Alessandra react)

[21:18] Steam: More machines... not like the ones working with Bairoft...
[21:18] Lichi: Roger pulls the bullets in with the magnets, and swings the bayonet of the Continental Railgun, double kaisering it behind the Gelgoog as he runs toward Metal Wolf Chaos' location.+
[21:18] Steam: "E-excuse me!" Julia suddenly says over the open channel. "But who are you?"
[21:19] Cubey: *Alessandra jumps off the Gelgoog and sneakily hides behind its massive body - it should shield Memento Mori's precious detailing from being scratched by the nasty missiles.+
[21:20] Nerdorama09: (Is DK attacking with that Bayonet or just surprising the guy?)
[21:20] Lichi: (They bayonet is being double kaisered behind the guy. It, however, has all the force of Hildebrand's swing since it's really in two places at once.)
[21:21] Nerdorama09: (Understood)
[21:21] Lichi: (Zwei Hilde itself is not double kaisered, just the weapon)
[21:21] Cubey: Alessandra: "Salutations to you, combat presentation lady! We are a group of like-minded individuals whose mission is to prevent unfortunate accidents like the one we are just in from occuring!"
[21:21] Nerdorama09: [Roger] A bayonet and rifle out of nowhere confuse the heck out of the Gelgoog Marine's pilot, jamming through its back for heavy damage.
[21:22] Lichi: Roger: "Got'cha!"
[21:22] Lichi: @ (Can I... support my own attack? Think of it like a &? ._.)
[21:23] Nerdorama09: (Given that you kinda have him pinned, sure, why not?)
[21:23] Lichi: *Since the enemy was skewered onto the bayonet...!
[21:23] Nerdorama09: [Alessandra] Memento Mori isn't quite out of the blast area of the rocket volley, but at least that Gelgoog gets the worst of it. Memento Mori's armor is lightly warped by HEAT rounds, but the enemy can scarely move.
[21:23] Lichi: *... Zwei Hildebrand Kaiser fires the Continental Railgun's golden stake into the Gelgoog!+
[21:24] Nerdorama09: [Roger] And that's more or less the end of that particular mobile suit.
[21:24] Lichi: With a bellowing whistle, the American flag billows out behind from the expelled steam...!

[21:27] Cubey: "Is there anyone who is on our side on this battlefield? What an unfair fight - this is starting to look rather exciting, wouldn't you say!"
[21:27] Lichi: Roger: "You think this is a glooorious fight!?"
[21:28] Lichi: Roger: "I'll show you who's going to have the glory...!"

[21:29] Steam: Julia's gritting her teeth as she stares at that Gyan. "How can you be saying that? All these people..."

[21:30] Nerdorama09: The Gelgoog brings up its shield to deflect the - holy shit is that a Gundam?! - to deflect the bullets, but it can't do that and move out of the way of the charge (continue)

[21:31] Nerdorama09: Bairoft: "Wait...the pilot who survived was Herrera's MASCOT?"
[21:32] Nerdorama09: Bairoft: "Forget dying, I can finish this job in one shot! Die, traitor!"
[21:32] Nerdorama09: The Gyan pulls up its shield and fires a thick volley of scattering rockets toward Julia (react Julia)

[21:34] Steam: * So many rockets... and with no defense against them! Oh if only this was a combat-model Corona! All Julia can do is try to get out of the way as fast as she can!+
[21:34] Zappa: *Technica bravely rams the shield, potentially putting it's other arm in reach-around range to drive the hatchet into the Gelgoog's shoulder! He's going to try his DAMNEDEST to go in deep on it's shoulder!+
[21:34] Cubey: *"I have not the slightest idea who Irgelions are, but you shall not call anyone a traitor without substantial proof!" She takes a wide swing and - throws the axe at the rockets. Hopefully it will cut or otherwise impact with some of them and cause them to explode.+
[21:34] vertigojockey@gmail.com: Michael: [Rushing out of the Hildebrand as Roger drops him, he all but kicks up a trail of dust as he ran towards the powersuit, all but throwing himself inside. The machine closing around him with a mechanical whirr before its solitary camera flared to life with a hum. The pods on its back spilling open as he tugged out a gatling gun AND a bazooka.] "Okaaaaaaay........Let's....PARTYYYYYYYYYYY!!!" [21:37] Nerdorama09: [Julia and Alessandra] The axe explodes part of the thicket of rockets, and Julia gets out of the worst of the impact, but the Corona's armor is still hit and seriously damaged by several of the small munitions

[21:38] Steam: Alarms blare in the Corona as she's rocked from the impact. "A-aaaah..."
[21:38] Steam: But looking up at the Momento Mori, she immediately realizes thanks are in order. "I couldn't dodge that... you... saved my life!"
[21:38] Nerdorama09: Bairoft: "Who said you could interfere, huh! The longer you delay me from breaking that toy and killing that bitch, the worse it's gonna be for everyone!"
[21:39] Lichi: Roger: "Hey now! Language, young man!!"
[21:39] Nerdorama09: The Gyan advances toward Memento Mori in an impressively disciplined fencing posture.
[21:39] Cubey: Alessandra: "The Champion of House Consenesco shall act however she desires! It is in my desire to protect this nice lady from missile-related death!"

[22:45] Steam: Julia charges. By all rights it's suicide. Bairoft's an experienced soldier. And she's just a postergirl. But all the same... they're both Irgelions. She's seen him swing the Gyan's sword before... she knows how he'll do it now! "Just... gotta..."
[22:46] Steam: * The movement's clumsy, Julia forcing herself to swing her HFM Blade in a way she's not accustomed to and trying to slip around Bairoft's own attack. She has no idea if she'll hit, but she'll stake everything on thinking Bairoft won't!+

[20:55] Nerdorama09: The explosion near the prison did a number on the maximum security wing where Ichitaka and Haruka are being held. With some climbing, they could easily escape in the confusion!

[20:56] Arach: From there he'll be making a beeline for Haruka and Ichitaka. And I mean that literally, colony walls are only barriers if you let them be ones. Haruka, for her part, will start climbing up the rubble and out, giving Ichitaka a hand where he needs it.

[20:57] Lichi: Roger: "I can try to get you there in Hildebrand. There's nothing safer, sure thing."

[20:57] Aero: Ichitaka cracks his knuckle climbing up the rubble as well. "I never thought I'd be making a jailbreak in my life." He makes some good time on the climb although it took him a bit to catch up to Haruka.
[20:58] Nerdorama09: The center of Neo-Washington, DC is in a great deal of wreck and panic. Fortunately, the hole where Bairoft's crew blasted their way in is small, and automated systems are already repairing it.
[20:59] Lichi: Roger signals Michael to follow him to the closer machine, the tall and proud Super Zwei Hildebrand, Kaiser of Modern War, then hookshots up.
[20:59] Nerdorama09: (Everyone but Michael can get to their mechs now)
[20:59] Lichi: He quickly straps into the Marrionette System and then kneels down to let Michael step onto Hildebrand's hand.
[20:59] Aero: Ichitaka looks out at the arriving Imber. "Wow he got here really quickly..."

[21:07] Nerdorama09: [Roger and Michael] Maybe the tank commanders can't hear Michael, but regarldess, three of them open fire on Zwei Hildebrand with their main cannons (Roger react)

[21:08] Nerdorama09: [Julia] The mobile suit pilot is taken by surprise and knocked back, taking serious damage to an arm. It didn't think that test model was armed, let alone piloted.

[21:11] Nerdorama09: [Roger] Zwei Hildebrand gets knocked around and staggered a bit by the tank shells, but absorbing that kind of explosive is what it's made for!

[21:12] Steam: * She practically freezes. This isn't just a show! Even if she tries to fight back she wouldn't know where to start... and yet all the same her hands move at the controls, activating the HFM Blade's vibrations and microwave emitters before charging forward and swatting at the Gelgoog using the beam sword!+
[21:12] Lichi: He rides the impacts that feed back as best he can. It's alright still!
[21:12] Lichi: Roger turns the speakers up to 100%.

[21:14] Nerdorama09: [Julia] Julia's move is executed with almost balletic precision. In a show, it would have been easy to follow and evade, but the Gelgoog pilot doesn't know the choreography. The HFM Blade slices through the clunky Gelgoog's sword, arms, and cockpit, leaving behind rather a mess.
[21:14] Steam: It's not until mid-parry that Julia is realizing what's happening. She saw that kind of slash before... or one close enough to it. And her body... her body remembered what to do. Or at least well enough...
[21:15] Nerdorama09: [Roger & Michael] They still aren't listening. Gosh it must be hard to hear in those tanks.
[21:15] Nerdorama09: (Alessandra)
[21:15] Cubey: *Suddenly, robot with a giant axe out of nowhere! Memento Mori is not as tall as a Gelgoog, but it's alright because Alessandra is willing and able to jump. Her colossal weapon is held high as she leaps on one of the Marines and tries to cleave its head and upper body into two neat, symmetrical pieces.+
[21:15] Lichi: Roger starts playing the message of the President on loop over radio.
[21:16] Nerdorama09: The surprise attack seems to throw this pilot as well. Its flailing defense barely nicks Memento Mori, but it does save it from being oneshotted. It will be hard-pressed to see in that state, though.
[21:17] Nerdorama09: One of the Gelgoogs also takes the time to open fire on Zwei Hildebrand with a machine gun, not knowing what Hildebrandium is (Roger react if you feel there's a point)

[21:19] Cubey: *Alessandra jumps off the Gelgoog and sneakily hides behind its massive body - it should shield Memento Mori's precious detailing from being scratched by the nasty missiles.+

[21:20] Lichi: (They bayonet is being double kaisered behind the guy. It, however, has all the force of Hildebrand's swing since it's really in two places at once.)
