Mission 058: Bastion part 1

[19:22] Nerdorama09: Everyone was, in fact, briefed on this mission. The gist of it is, a huge mobile force belonging to a transnational corporation that's gone "rogue" from the League of Ruling Corporations is tearing up a large part of the Indonesian archipelago
[19:22] Nerdorama09: To stop this, the League and local authorities have asked the Chalice to go beat up their mobile headquarters
[19:23] Nerdorama09: You guys, a fast strike team who have the tech or magic to blunt the effects of Kojima radiation upon yourselves, were dispatched.
[19:23] Nerdorama09: Any retroactive questions?
[19:24] Dessa: None from Arika
[19:24] Shaun: Dita's wishing she had the team behind her.
[19:24] Fenrir: Alexei has been primed for this mission.
[19:25] Knux: Hana's wondering if she can back out now... highly unlikely now, buuuuut...!
[19:25] UltimateSalsa: Chrono: What support from the League can we expect?
[19:25] Alwalid: Surprisingly, Nanoha's got no questions...
[19:25] Fenrir: Alexei: "It's Global Armaments... I'll be surprised if they give us a bullet."
[19:25] speximillian: PRIME eyes the others on this mission from behind his shades, before taking a long drag from a cigar. He could understand the surprise factor of sending in a tiny target under the skirt's armor. He's still not sure how said tiny target can handle such exposure to Kojima...or how the hell this mission became so reliant on little girls.
[19:26] UltimateSalsa: Chrono: Nothing then? All right, I just wanted to be sure.
[19:26] Shaun: Dita: Well, nothing for it I suppose. We'll just have to get orders from the register then to refuel.
[19:27] speximillian: PRIME: Just try not to die before you do your jobs out there.
[19:27] Fenrir: Alexei: "They'll send supplies if we complete this mission... I just hope they don't short change us... or bug the supplies."
[19:28] Dessa: Arika: "Why would they put bugs in the supplies? That's just gross!" Aaa, Arika, not the brightest crayon in the box.
[19:28] Fenrir: Alexei cue eyeroll... now!
[19:28] UltimateSalsa: Chrono: No, it means they'll put tracking devices in the supplies.
[19:29] speximillian: PRIME gets a small grin on his face from imagining this.
[19:29] Alwalid: Nanoha: This is a lot more complicated than I thought it'd be...
[19:29] UltimateSalsa: Chrono: To figure out where we are at any given moment, or what we're doing, or what kind of mecha we're using.
[19:29] Knux: Hana: Mmmn... we still have to do it, though. Right?
[19:29] Fenrir: Alexei just sort of eyes Chrono for a moment after that remark.
[19:30] Alwalid: Nanoha nods. "Right."
[19:30] UltimateSalsa: Chrono catches the incoming glare, if that. "Something on your mind, Alexei?"

[19:30] speximillian: PRIME: Enough talk! Everyone, we're getting close. Focus.
[19:30] Fenrir: Alexei: "Nothing at all, Chrono... I just don't trust GA at all in this regard."
[19:31] Nerdorama09: As everyone approaches the forests of Borneo from over the sea, the huge metal BRICK that is Armed Fortress Cabracan is immediately apparent on the horizon, simply rolling over the dilapidated tanks that the local towns are mustering in defense.

[19:32] Fenrir: Alexei: "Not really... the first Arms Fort that I ever took down was Spirit of Motherwill, and that was with the Chalice's help

[19:32] UltimateSalsa: Chrono blinks as he sees the behemoth in the distance. "That's... we're fighting that? It looks like a block of armor with treads."

[19:33] Alwalid: Nanoha: They said the weak-point is under that skirt, right...?
[19:33] Nerdorama09: There was additional information relayed on Cabracan along with the briefing. The armor's impenetrable to conventional mobile unit weaponry, but the treads are vulnerable from underneath. Your goal is to at least stop its movement.
[19:33] Nerdorama09: (So, yeah)
[19:34] Alwalid: Even little miss beamspam isn't feeling all too confident now.
[19:34] Fenrir: Alexei: "That's all we can bank on. If we can stop it, it can stop causing all that damage. Let's get out there then..." Alexei rushes off to the hangar, time for another giant to fall.
[19:34] Shaun: Dita: Right. I'll meet you guys on the battlefield. Nirvana, one to pick up.
[19:34] Specs: PRIME: If you run your barriers at full strength, you should be fine for at least 120 seconds. Probably. And that's enough time to do that neat little trick with the giant beam, right?
[19:34] Dessa: Arika: "I'm small enough to go under it, if you guys can tell me how to stop it."
[19:35] Knux: Hana: "Mmmn... a-alright. I'll do it!" And with that, she starts to head for the hangar, suiting up as she does.
[19:35] UltimateSalsa: Chrono sighs. "Let's see if I remember all the buttons... Vanguard, start up!"
[19:36] Nerdorama09: As you're a small strike force, you have the drop on the enemy for once! Everyone deploy.
[19:36] Nerdorama09: (Enemies: SELJQ x10, Cabracan)
[19:36] Shaun: Dita: Dita Dread Scrambled!
[19:36] Fenrir: "Alexei Soras, Rank 30, deploying in the Wahrheit-Valkyrie pack!" And launches out, taking to the sky above.

[19:36] Dessa: Arika had already Materialized, and had her Element out, ready to shoot down under the big thing to try to disable it.

[19:37] UltimateSalsa: "I'm gonna regret this later, but... Chrono Harlaown, Vanguard, launching!" It'd be suitably awesome if he hadn't tripped the thing as he left the Chalice.
[19:37] Knux: Nanohana: "Nanohana Himesaki! Desu Tsubomi! Let's go!"
[19:38] Alwalid: Nanoha's transformation this time is quick, and she does well to remember what Alexei mentioned about Kojima Particles, so she tries to stay a good distance away from the two 'Heit' machines.

[19:38] Specs: Specimen PRIME, Rank 31. Leading kids to their death. *he takes one more smoke, puts the cigar out, and tosses it off before locking down his cockpit.* Launching!

[19:39] Knux: Hana: "We're not going to die!"
[19:40] Shaun: Dita opens a channel to Chrono.
[19:40] Fenrir: Alexei: "Let's make this clean!" The Wahrheit shoots through the air, closing the distance to Cabracan. "We'll take care of the exterior. You all get underneath!" He locks onto the line of Normals, firing two volleys of missiles from his hand-held missile launchers.
[19:40] Shaun: Dita: Chrono, the Vanguards can gattai with my machine, just for you info.
[19:41] Specs: PRIME: Tell me that AFTER this mission. I'll have to believe you then! *PRIME wastes no time in taking an aggressive assault on the battlefield. His job is to be a nice, noisy presence to ensure the smaller targets aren't noticed. His loud, messy chainguns assist him with this as he focus-fires on the surrounding SELJQs.+
[19:42] UltimateSalsa: Chrono: All right, I'll keep it in mind. Let me know if we need to use it, I think I remember the buttons for that.
[19:42] Nerdorama09: [Alexei] The SELJQs scatter from the missiles, though one unlucky guy loses his shotgun to a grazing hit right off. It's clear they were expecting SOMETHING, though the resident psychic can practically feel the confusion coming off them at seeing two League NEXTs sweeping out of the sky.
[19:43] Knux: Hana: "Mmn...!" Waiting for the perfect time to strike, her mind keeps wandering back to what Alexi had mentioned following reentry.
[19:43] Nerdorama09: [PRIME] PRIME sweeping in after Alexei, he manages to finish off the guy who's having a really unlucky day and damage several more, though by this time the rest of the Normals have taken cover and are firing back with a scattering of shotgun blasts (PRIME react)
[19:44] *** Kamiyu has left the chat.
[19:44] Nerdorama09: (Dita, Nanoha)
[19:45] Specs: Prime's Reinheit sideboosts all day, its natural bulk and primal armor more than capable of taking a few stay hits...he fires back, actually conserving ammo for once with burst fire.+
[19:45] Shaun: *Pushing her Dread down in a steep dive, Dita locked onto the skirted treads of the massive machine before flicking the trigger. Scores of energy beams rocketed out as she launched a salvo of missiles, intent on pounding at the bottom of it. Her approach was tightly focused, blazing a trail through the sky at high velocity.+
[19:46] Fenrir: Alexei: "These guys are paper tigers! Nice maneuvering, PRIME!"
[19:46] Nerdorama09: [PRIME] Reinheit takes minimal damage to its armor, and decapitates another Normal with a short burst. It's still in the fight, but will have a hard time tracking.
[19:47] Alwalid: *"Raising Heart, Buster Mode!" Switching the device to its bombardment mode, Nanoha proceeds to target three of the SELJQ's. She pulls the trigger to fire a trio of homing beams, not quite as powerful as Divine Buster, but still more potent than her small Axel Shooter spheres.+
[19:47] Specs: PRIME: What, do you think I was just napping during all that downtime I took?
[19:48] Fenrir: Alexei: ...would you be mad if I said yes?
[19:48] Nerdorama09: [Dita] Most of the damage from the flying Dread is absorbed by the skirt armor, though Dita scores some damage on one of the treads. In return, a SELJQ tries to shoot her Dread out of the sky like a clay pigeon (Dita react)
[19:48] Specs: PRIME: Would you be mad if a grenade "accidentally" hit you?
[19:48] Shaun: *Dita does a barrel roll, spinning to the side and returning fire with ease.+
[19:48] Fenrir: Alexei: "Absolutely not, then..."
[19:49] Nerdorama09: [Nanoha's] lasers arc arc the SELJQs' cover, blasting into the three of them. The damage isn't terminal for the machines, but it is significant. Two of them pop up over their cover and return a spray of lead at the young girl. Mercenaries, jeez. (Nanoha react)
[19:50] Nerdorama09: [Dita] A barrel roll, and the Dread's armor, are the perfect thing to mitigate the shotgun damage, leaving only mild dents and scratches.
[19:51] Alwalid: *The Axel Fins kick into gear. And if that isn't enough, Nanoha puts up a Round Shield to catch any shells that come too close!+
[19:51] Nerdorama09: A bold-feeling SELJQ pilot circles his machine around behind Reinheit and leaps at PRIME's back, intending to smash the NEXT with a Cerberus blade (react PRIME)
[19:52] Nerdorama09: [Nanoha] A few size S mech-sized shotgun pellets slam into the Round Shield, pushing Nanoha back, but the shield holds.
[19:53] Specs: PRIME grins, getting a newtype flash from his pilot sense. "Aww, that's cute. It thinks it's important." Reinheit quickly 180s, bringing its pile bunker up to catch the mech. "Now, what did we learn about attacking something armed with a KIKU?"+
[19:53] Nerdorama09: (Chrono, Arika, Hana)
[19:54] *** Specs has left the chat.
[19:54] *** Eric has left the chat.
[19:54] Alwalid: Nanoha tries her best to stabilize herself in the meantime. Getting knocked around too much was bad after all.
[19:54] Knux: Hana: "...I can't play around this time. This is too important to do that."
[19:54] *** speximillian has joined the chat.
[19:54] Dessa: Arika immediately shot down underneath the bottom of the big thing, looking at the treads and other mechanical stuff. "What do I do to stop this?" she asked everyone else.
[19:55] Nerdorama09: [PRIME] The enemy pilot learns what it feels like to get penetrated by a psychic super-soldier's giant pile bunker, if you know what I mean.
[19:55] Shaun: Dita: Focus Hana, and pick your shots wisely!
[19:56] Knux: *The Desu Tsubomi reaches for its arms, unsheathing its beam blades, before diving at one of the SELJQs, slashing as she got in close, either to disarm or take down.+
[19:56] Fenrir: Alexei just looks at Tsubomi, speaking under his breath. "C'mon... you can do this..."
[19:56] UltimateSalsa: *Chrono reviews the weapon support on the Vanguard he's in. "I've been flying it fine in the simulator, it can't be that much harder in real life... Particle gun, fire!" He manages to draw the Vanguard's particle gun and fire it at the armor skirting.+
[19:57] Nerdorama09: [Arika] is surrounded by four sets of large treads. She's also noticing a moderate drain on her Robe as it protects her from Kojima radiation. [19:57] Nerdorama09: ????: "Hey, this crazy girl's spoiling the surprise."
[19:58] Nerdorama09: ????: "I think pasting her right now would be a mercy."
[19:58] Nerdorama09: One of the mystery ACs draws a shotgun and fires in Arika's direction (Arika react and continue your action)
[20:00] Nerdorama09: [Hana] Tsubomi sweeps down over the small dry, knocking over one damaged one as another parries, then tries to hit her in turn with its sword (react Hana)
[20:00] Dessa: *Arika "Eep..."ed when she saw them, and called out again to the others. "Might need some help down here!" Gripping her Element, she flew at them, spinning with it ahead of her like a shield, trying to create as strong a force as she could as she flew at one of the two red machines.+
[20:01] Fenrir: Alexei: "What kind of help? You just had to destroy those treads. How hard is that?"
[20:01] Dessa: Arika: "There's two more machines down here!"
[20:01] Knux: *Catching sight of the sword coming down, she brings her blades up to parry the machines herself before attempting to pull away+
[20:01] Nerdorama09: [Arika] A combination of the spinning Element and charging over the rather lazy line of fire keeps her safe from the shotgun blast, though the AC dodges out of the way of the charge in a manner not dissimilar to PRIME. "Hey, she's fast."
[20:02] Nerdorama09: ????: "
[20:02] Nerdorama09: Stop her, I'm heading out. There are NEXTs outside."
[20:02] speximillian: PRIME: ...what? That's silly, who'd be crazy enough to have a machine that close...
[20:02] Fenrir: Alexei: "You gotta be kidding me. NEXT grade? PRIME! Get me visuals!"
[20:03] Nerdorama09: With that, the lankier of the two machines dashes out from under the skirt armor and into the main battle, coming out firing an assault rifle at Alexei (react Alexei)
[20:04] Nerdorama09: The League mercs recognize it as Red Rum, which means his parter is almost definitely Starka
[20:04] Zappa: [???] *Alexei. You now have visuals and an ID code on the machine,
[20:04] Zappa: (Yanno, what Nerdo said :P)
[20:05] Nerdorama09: [Chrono] Manages to put a small hole in the armor skirting with the Dread's gun. The ACs seem to be ignoring him.
[20:05] Fenrir: Alexei: "Red Rum?! Starka?!" Alexei grimmaces and instantly dives downward, missiles locking on to the quadruped. "Should've known Algebra would send their boys for this!" He opens up his vertical missile launcher, firing out 36 missiles at the speedy mech.+
[20:06] speximillian: PRIME: On it! That's....Collared rank 19 and rank 15.
[20:06] speximillian: PRIME: ...supposedly, they're about twice as good as us, Mr Rank 30.
[20:06] Fenrir: Alexei: "And I'd shut your mouth and SHOOT!"
[20:07] speximillian: PRIME just grins. "Imagine the promotion when we take these guys down!"
[20:08] Nerdorama09: [Dita] Parries just fine!
[20:08] Shaun: (you mean Hana)
[20:08] Fenrir: Alexei: "...oh hell yes..." Morale +10.
[20:08] Nerdorama09: Yes I do
[20:09] Nerdorama09: Everyone with an energy barrier (shields, barrier jacket, robe, etc.) notices a drain from the Kojima radiation in the area. It's not much yet, but energy/magic-based armor is going to degrade fairly quickly over time here.
[20:09] Knux: Hana: "Haa... close one..."
[20:09] Shaun: Dita: I think we're going to need to make a bigger dent faster.
[20:09] Knux: CHYPrE: "Not good-desu! Radiation's going off the scale! We'll have to work faster, Hana!" Hana: "Right...!"
[20:10] Nerdorama09: [Alexei] Red Rum spins through the missiles, knocking a few out of the sky with his assault rifle and weaving through the spaces created. "Hey, you're...well, you're very low-ranked, to be the League's gophers."
[20:10] Alwalid: Nanoha notices this. It's only a matter of time before she has to back off, so she had to make her hits count.
[20:10] Zappa: (A bigger hole?) @?
[20:11] Fenrir: Alexei: "I've heard you had a mouth, Shamir... let's see if you have the skill to back up that rank..."
[20:11] Nerdorama09: (Dramatic license summons Zappa's character.)
[20:11] Nerdorama09: (???? Take your turn)
[20:11] speximillian: PRIME: I like this guy. Shame we're on opposite sides, he might have lived longer.
[20:13] Zappa: ???"Target locked. Don't miss this one Hayana. It's a small hole."

[20:14] Nerdorama09: A sniper shot from out of nowhere blasts into the damage Chrono and Dita started, blasting away a section of skirt armor to make access to the undercarriage easier! (continue, I guess?)
[20:15] Shaun: Dita: Chrono, I think we're going to need to take advantage of that! I'm coming over there, so we can combine!
[20:15] Zappa: *The mystery unit fires ANOTHER shot on the same skirt. We're just going to look at taking that entire plate off. GN Sniper rifle, firing again!+
[20:16] UltimateSalsa: "Roger that, Dita!" Chrono answers, dropping the comm line and consulting the instrument panel. "Wait... was combination actually in the manual?"
[20:16] Fenrir: Alexei: "Who... the hell is firing that?!"
[20:16] Shaun: Dita: NOPE! And she blasts off towards Chrono's machine, her machine and Chrono's glowing a brilliant green light.
[20:16] Nerdorama09: Wherever the shots are coming from, the skirt armor on that tread is now gone.
[20:17] Knux: Hana: "...if they're helping us, then it's a welcome assistance!"
[20:17] speximillian: PRIME: ...As long as it's not trying to kill us, I could care less. We've got a path now!
[20:17] Shaun: And within seconds, Vandread Dita is reborn. Chrono, react to having a girl on your lap.
[20:18] Nerdorama09: A girl who's about a time and a half your height, mind
[20:18] Shaun: Dita; Maybe we should change positions...
[20:18] UltimateSalsa: Chrono sputters, Dita suddenly being in his lap. Whom was very much not there before, and is bigger than he is. "Yeah, this isn't gonna work. Trade!"

[20:19] Shaun: Within seconds, Chrono's on her lap. She winds her hands with his on the controls and leans into his back. "All right, lets do this!"

[20:20] UltimateSalsa: Magic being what he is, Chrono doesn't question why he's returning to the pilot seat once Dita's on it. He accepts that it must be important and returns to piloting.

[20:23] Fenrir: Alexei: "Focus on the treads! We got these guys..." Alexei speeds off to the surface, keeping his vertical missile launchers open as he flies over Red Rum. "Let's see if you can hit up here..." He opens his relation missiles as well, firing a... quite frankly, obscene amount of missile on Red Rum.+

[20:23] Alwalid: She isn't going to argue, given that radiation stuff...
[20:23] Knux: Hana: "Gotcha...! Just... be careful...!"

[20:25] Nerdorama09: [Alexei] Even Shamir Ravi Ravi has a hard time dodging that many missiles at once, though she tries her best. Red Rum comes through the barrage scathed and firing its own barrage of assault rifle fire and shells at Wahrheit as it strafes along the surface of smashed jungle (Alexei react)
[20:26] Fenrir: Alexei dodges as skillfully as he can, trying his best to stay out of Shamir's locking range, continuing to fire more missiles from his arm launchers instead, but keeps his relation missile pods open. "What's a matter? Can't hit a flying target?"

[20:27] speximillian: PRIME keeps his distance from the Starka. He's heard of it's close range capabilities. Luckilly, he's got a nice, explosive grenade launcher for such an occasion, firing it off intermittently as he moves closer to the Red Rum to support Wahrheit.+
[20:27] Nerdorama09: (Is PRIME targeting Starka underneath Cabracan or Red Rum outside of it?)
[20:28] speximillian: (Starka. He's trying to draw him out)
[20:28] Nerdorama09: [Alexei] A few lucky hits from the assault rifle scratch Wahrheit, but as Shamir is forced to dodge, she can't get a bead on him
[20:30] Nerdorama09: [PRIME] The grenades explode underneath Cabracan, damaging one of the treads and scratching Starka at the same time, though Do Su responds by retreating further under the huge machine and trying to get Arika between himself and the incoming fire. He's not leaving the underside unprotected.
[20:31] Nerdorama09: Now supported by the NEXTs, two of the SELJQs charge at Nanoha, trying to spam her with close-range shotgun fire until she falls (Nanoha react)

[20:34] Shaun: *Pushing the Vandread down towards the two SELJQ's, Dita shifted the weapon pods to the arms and charged them, interspacing herself between them and Nanoha, intent on spearing the weapons through the opponents!&

[20:34] Nerdorama09: [Dita] The Vandread eats a great deal of shot for its trouble, but the surprised and unmaneuverable Normals are nonetheless impaled! (continue into your action I guess)

[20:36] Nerdorama09: [Hixar] The beam snipe shot wrecks the damaged tread, and the AF's motion begins to drag slightly. Two of the SELJQs break off from the battle and move into the still standing trees...

[20:38] Nerdorama09: Meanwhile, under the Armed Fortress, Starka is strafing around to try and get Arika within another shotgun blast. Point-blank, with the current drain on her Robe, such a shot might kill her in one hit. (Arika react and act)

[20:40] Alwalid: # Arika
[20:40] Nerdorama09: (If you're in position to move/shoot through the hole in the skirt armor, go for it)
[20:41] Knux: *Breaking away from her initial opponent, Hana shoots towards the large brick of a tank, heading into the hole that was made and slice at the tread. She can't help but wince at the power inside. This was going to be extremely tough...!+
[20:41] Dessa: *Arika knew she had two things to do down here: Stop the red machine, and stop the treads. Obviously, the red machine wanted to stop her, too. She thought fast, and then flew quickly at Starka, aiming herself between it and the treads. Maybe if she could use it to damage the treads... She stayed as close to him as possible, kicking him and hitting him with her Element, never slowing down....
...Or noticing that pieces of her Robe were chipping off.+
[20:43] Alwalid: *Nanoha takes aim at the tread closest to where Starka is. She can barely make it out from her position, but it was worth a try anyways. With Raising Heart at the ready, two cartridges are loaded.
[20:43] Nerdorama09: [Hana] Desu Tsubomi complains mechanically about the spike in radiation, but she's able to get close and hack away at the damaged tread, bringing it close to the breaking point.
[20:43] Alwalid: "Divine Buster Extension...SHOOT!"+
[20:45] Knux: Hana: "Ehhh...!" CHYPrE: "Too close, too close! Hana, we need to pull back-desu!" Hana: "We can't! Not when we're so close!"
[20:45] Nerdorama09: [Arika and Nanoha] Frustrated by Arika's attempts to get close and unable to bring his shotgun to bear, he swipes at the Otome with the blunt side of his KIKU piledriver (Arika react). Meanwhile, he's left with a choice of getting in the way of Nanoha's beamspam and saving the tread, or getting exploded by beamspam. Do Su chooses the latter, strafing out of the way of the beam and letting Nanoha's powered-up attack one-shot a tread.

[20:46] Dessa: *You know the problem at swiping at something small and fast? It's easy to miss. Arika flew up toward the underbelly of the big thing, away from the piledriver.+

[20:48] UltimateSalsa: Chrono lets out a breath. "I can see why you all fly these... This is a whole different experience than flying around and throwing spells." He seems... exhilarated? Dita's probably aware he seems just a bit different than usual.
[20:48] Nerdorama09: Arika is up close to the ceiling (or rather the undercarriage) now. Unfortunately, that seems to be where Do Su wanted her as he winds up Starka's arm to try and pin her to the bottom of the AF (Arika react, or NOW Hana can support, up to you)

[21:08] Fenrir: The Wahrheit reels for a moment, Primal Armor shimmering and dampening the blow, but for just a moment as he dives down with PRIME, taking hold of the top of Red Rum. "Then may Algebra die with you..." As he activates his beam daggers, slicing across Red Rum's middle and pulling up to pull Red Rum apart.+

[21:09] Shaun: Dita realized it was all or nothing by this point. Too much was going on, so she brandished the two arm swords before blasting towards Starka, her blade sweeping in a motion that would not only pierce through the machine, but would drive it all the way into the last remaining treads. Her weapons were already glowing a brilliant light, a massive shot readied for this event.&

[21:09] Nerdorama09: [Alexei and PRIME] Wahrheit hasn't looked this ugly in a long time after that point-blank shot, but between the two NEXTs dogpiling it and leaving it unable to dodge, Red Rum doesn't stand a chance. The mech and its pilot are torn apart.
[21:10] Specs: PRIME finishes up as Reinheit and Red Rum plummet to the ground, both Chainguns pointblank. "...don't worry, we'll be sending your partner soon enough."
[21:10] Zappa: *Hixar tries to keep himself hidden as he retrieves the Sniper Rifle. Once he gets it in hand, he'll abandon the trees, leaving the poor SELJQ to hunt for nothing... &
[21:12] Nerdorama09: [Dita] With Starka held in place by Tsumbomi, Do Su can't dodge. He can put his pile driver through the Vandread's shoulder in defense, and it does, but that doesn't prevent Dita from tackling him into the last intact tread (Dita/Chrono continue)
[21:12] Nerdorama09: [Hixar] Fortunately, your unit is meant for stealth, and the SELJQ pilot is freaking out about cloaked enemies. (Continue)
[21:13] Knux: Hana: "Woah!" And Hana pulls back just as Do Su's tackled into the tread!
[21:14] Alwalid: At this point Nanoha's pretty worried about what's going on between those treads...
[21:15] Zappa: *Sadalsuud takes flight over the trees and takes shots from the sky at the skirt again, looking to open it up further.+
Hayana: "Particles down, Particles down. Stealth shutting off. Stealth shutting off"
[21:15] UltimateSalsa: *Chrono realizes everything's lit up and ready to fire, and grins. "Game over! Here we go...!" And with a button press the weapons fire, Chrono briefly blinded by bright lights and having no idea what's going on but loving every second. Starka is, of course, at point blank.+
[21:16] Nerdorama09: [Dita/Chrono] There is a terrible, terrible blinding light and explosion. Do Su is mercifully silent before he, his NEXT, and the nearest tread all explode.
[21:17] Nerdorama09: The point blank explosion of Kojima particles isn't really healthy for anyone else under there. In fact, getting out from under the listing fortress sounds like a really great idea (Arika, Hana, and Dita/Chrono all react to exploding shit)
[21:18] Specs: PRIME: ...huh. They took him out without us. Not bad!
[21:18] Nerdorama09: [Hixar] And just to add insult to injury, the remaining tread grinds to a complete halt with another couple of beam shots. Sadalsuud is now exposed in the air, though, and the SELJQ who was hunting it fires probably his last shotgun shell at it (Hixar react)
[21:18] Dessa: Arika paused for a second, looking at the-- well, where the red machine had been, wishing they could've saved the pilot, before quickly flying out from underneath.
[21:19] UltimateSalsa: *"....Explosions are bad. We ought to get out of here!" Chrono throws the thrusters full reverse, his only real concern just dealt with handily.+
[21:19] Shaun: Dita: C'mon you two!
[21:19] Knux: *Hana's arms cross as she flies out, her unit's bracers activating its beam shields as she pulls back, intending on covering herself and anyone behind her.+
[21:20] Zappa: *Sadalsuud's shoulder plates fold over in front of the "Gundam", but he's making evasive effort towards the ground as well. Them plates are important.+
[21:21] Nerdorama09: [Hana, Dita/Chrono, Arika] The three of you make it out from under the now halted fortress! However, the Kojima spike really did a number on the units under there - Desu Tsubomi and the Vandread's armor is started to warp in front, and the former's beam shields are halfway drained as well. Arika's Robe is now seriously tattered and full of holes from absorbing enough harmful particles to microwave a normal human several times over by now.
[21:22] Fenrir: Alexei: "Looks like mission accomplished..."
[21:22] Nerdorama09: [Hixar] The SELJQ misses, and his gun clicks. At this point, the merc starts running.
[21:22] Nerdorama09: The halted Cabracan sits there sadly for a couple seconds...and then begins to open up
[21:23] Knux: Hana: "Ow... ow, that hurts... I... huh?"
[21:23] UltimateSalsa: Chrono: "Did we do- no, no we didn't. What now?"
[21:23] Zappa: ???: "Cabracan reported immobile. Phase 1 completed."
[21:23] Specs: PRIME: ...Well, we stopped it.
[21:23] Nerdorama09: The entier blocky superstructure splits open and launched dozen upon dozens of small flying drones.

[21:24] UltimateSalsa: Chrono checks the data displays. "Can we even continue like this...? We've taken too much- ack!"
[21:24] Shaun: *Dita instantly shifts the Vandreads weapon pods to over the shoulder, and there's a blinding flash as she fires a massive laser across the sky to hit as many as possible.+
[21:24] Dessa: Arika quickly started flying around to dodge the fire.
[21:25] *** Specs has left the chat.
[21:25] Fenrir: Algebra: "Oh thanks, GA, thank's a hell of a lot for not telling us about THIS shit!" Wahrheit immediately takes evasive action, firing out missiles from his vertical launcher to target the drones. He fires about 2 salvos, but suddenly... both of them pop off. "O-Out of ammo?!"
[21:25] Zappa: ???: "Just as reported. Commencing phase two."
*Being a "gundam" it's going to dodge like hell, keeping those shoulder plates faced forward. But it looks like it's just moving further AWAY from the battlefield.+
[21:25] Knux: Hana: "WOAH!" *And the Desu Tsubomi, despite its own damage, begins to fly around, trying not to use the beam shields as much+
[21:25] Alwalid: *Nanoha's quick to react, putting up a Wide Area Protection at the cost of two more cartridges. She isn't as fast as Fate, so there's no way she can dodge all of those...+

[21:26] speximillian: PRIME: And here I thought this was too easy! *PRIME unloads at full speed, flying in between the exploded treads for cover, chainguns and grenade launcher firing when he can get a shot. It's a good thing he conserved ammo.+
[21:27] Nerdorama09: Everyone except Nanoha (whose shields are taking a serious beating anyway), Arika, and that chicken Hixar takes some moderate damage on top of what they've accumulated. However, the counterattacks all cut into the slow drones as they converge - these things were built for quantity, not quality.

[21:28] Nerdorama09: (Everyone just go to town on the things, they're everywhere)
[21:29] Fenrir: Alexei grits his teeth. "Nanoha, Chrono, Arika... how are you all feeling?"
[21:29] Zappa: *Sadalsuud is not fleeing, but, taking a more advantageous spot, which is, not in the thick of things. One shot at a time, it's aiming and picking off these dozens of grunts.+
[21:29] Dessa: Arika: "I'm fine!"
[21:29] Alwalid: Nanoha: I'll be good for a while longer!
[21:30] UltimateSalsa: Chrono is silent for a moment. Then: "I'm fine, but we're running out of steam here. I don't know that we'll be able to hold form much longer."
[21:30] speximillian: PRIME grits his teeth as ammo reserves run low. "If we can gather them up, we can blow them all away at once with the Assault Armor...the trick is corralling them."
[21:30] Fenrir: Alexei just smiles flying into the group of drones with just his beam daggers. "You're all heart..." And goes to work, slashing at the massive group of enemies with no regard for his own armor. He's a LYNX... he'll make sure he won't get upstaged by drones.
[21:30] Dessa: *To prove this, she started just whacking the drones at high speeds, whatever was closest to her at the moment.+
[21:30] Shaun: Dita nodded. "We should be okay. Let's let them have it!"
[21:31] Knux: CHYPrE: "Hana, we're good for now! Let 'em have it!" Hana: "On it!"
[21:32] Knux: *Summoning the Tsubomi TACT, Hana allows the weapon to gather energy before taking aim and firing one of those large-flower shaped bursts of energy at the drones!+
[21:33] Alwalid: *"Once more, Raising Heart! Divine...BUSTER!!" A quick charge and a spent cartridge later, another beam is let loose on the horde of drones. Nanoha takes the time to sweep the beam slightly, swinging it across any clustered drones like a giant beam sword!+
[21:34] UltimateSalsa: *"Roger that!" First one weapon, then another, and soon the Vandread's lit up once more with the power of laser weaponry to excess, aimed into the crowd. "And... fire!" The lasers rip forward toward an open set of drones, Chrono careful to avoid allies as the spread widens.+
[21:35] Nerdorama09: It takes a lot of effort, guts, and grazing hits. But eventually, the swarm of drones are all routed and destroyed
[21:36] Nerdorama09: Everyone's the worse for wear, and the Kojima particles leaking out aren't really helping. Even the NEXTs are starting to feel it
[21:36] Fenrir: Wahrheit flies over Cabracan, scorched and with its Primal Armor flickering on and off. "I-It's done... That's one hell of a tombstone..."
[21:36] Nerdorama09: However, Cabracan is now more or less topped and a sitting duck
[21:37] speximillian: Reinheit boost to the top of the Cabracan, raising its Kiku in a victory pose as its own Primal armor begins to flicker. "YEAAAAAAAAAH!"
[21:37] Nerdorama09: Which means it's probably going to be destroyed by that swarm of about ten long-range missiles coming in and about to blast everything on the battlefield to smithereens. Everyone's incoming weapon warnings are going crazy, btw

[21:38] speximillian: PRIME: ...wait, what's that noise? No.....no no no....

[21:40] Specs: PRIME simply reacts. Primal armor be damned, all power goes to the Reinheit's OVERD Boost as he bails like a frightened animal.+
[21:40] Alwalid: *Nanoha, already not looking good from the corrosion caused by those Kojima particles, focuses her magic into her Axel Fins and attempts to avoid the missiles. She can't exactly keep tanking shots with her barrier in this state either...+
[21:41] UltimateSalsa: *"Oh, THAT's not fair. Gotta move...!" Chrono tries to get the Vandread out of the way and hopes the missiles aren't too big.+
[21:43] Nerdorama09: Hixar blasts down one of the missiles early, which creates a huge explosion. The rest of the missiles detonate near the ground, blasting the vulnerable Cabracan to Kojima-irradiated pieces and fragging any machine that doesn't dodge fast enough. Which in this case consists pretty much of the Vandread, which gets blasted into its component mechs, the Vanguard part heavily fragged. Chrono's okay, but the Vanguard is a lost cause.
[21:44] Nerdorama09: The area of the battlefield is now a blasted crater with a healthy dusting of Kojima
[19:22] Nerdorama09: Everyone was, in fact, briefed on this mission. The gist of it is, a huge mobile force belonging to a transnational corporation that's gone "rogue" from the League of Ruling Corporations is tearing up a large part of the Indonesian archipelago
[19:22] Nerdorama09: To stop this, the League and local authorities have asked the Chalice to go beat up their mobile headquarters
[19:23] Nerdorama09: You guys, a fast strike team who have the tech or magic to blunt the effects of Kojima radiation upon yourselves, were dispatched.

He could understand the surprise factor of sending in a tiny target under the skirt's armor. He's still not sure how said tiny target can handle such exposure to Kojima...or how the hell this mission became so reliant on little girls.

[19:34] Alwalid: Even little miss beamspam isn't feeling all too confident now.
[19:34] Fenrir: Alexei: "That's all we can bank on. If we can stop it, it can stop causing all that damage. Let's get out there then..." Alexei rushes off to the hangar, time for another giant to fall.

[19:34] Specs: PRIME: If you run your barriers at full strength, you should be fine for at least 120 seconds. Probably. And that's enough time to do that neat little trick with the giant beam, right?

[19:35] Knux: Hana: "Mmmn... a-alright. I'll do it!" And with that, she starts to head for the hangar, suiting up as she does.

[19:41] Specs: PRIME: Tell me that AFTER this mission. I'll have to believe you then! *PRIME wastes no time in taking an aggressive assault on the battlefield. His job is to be a nice, noisy presence to ensure the smaller targets aren't noticed. His loud, messy chainguns assist him with this as he focus-fires on the surrounding SELJQs.+

[19:42] Nerdorama09: [Alexei] The SELJQs scatter from the missiles, though one unlucky guy loses his shotgun to a grazing hit right off. It's clear they were expecting SOMETHING, though the resident psychic can practically feel the confusion coming off them at seeing two League NEXTs sweeping out of the sky.
[19:43] Knux: Hana: "Mmn...!" Waiting for the perfect time to strike, her mind keeps wandering back to what Alexi had mentioned following reentry.
[19:43] Nerdorama09: [PRIME] PRIME sweeping in after Alexei, he manages to finish off the guy who's having a really unlucky day and damage several more, though by this time the rest of the Normals have taken cover and are firing back with a scattering of shotgun blasts (PRIME react)

[19:45] Specs: Prime's Reinheit sideboosts all day, its natural bulk and primal armor more than capable of taking a few stay hits...he fires back, actually conserving ammo for once with burst fire.+
[19:45] Shaun: *Pushing her Dread down in a steep dive, Dita locked onto the skirted treads of the massive machine before flicking the trigger. Scores of energy beams rocketed out as she launched a salvo of missiles, intent on pounding at the bottom of it. Her approach was tightly focused, blazing a trail through the sky at high velocity.+

[19:46] Nerdorama09: [PRIME] Reinheit takes minimal damage to its armor, and decapitates another Normal with a short burst. It's still in the fight, but will have a hard time tracking.
[19:47] Alwalid: *"Raising Heart, Buster Mode!" Switching the device to its bombardment mode, Nanoha proceeds to target three of the SELJQ's. She pulls the trigger to fire a trio of homing beams, not quite as powerful as Divine Buster, but still more potent than her small Axel Shooter spheres.+
[19:47] Specs: PRIME: What, do you think I was just napping during all that downtime I took?
[19:48] Fenrir: Alexei: ...would you be mad if I said yes?
[19:48] Nerdorama09: [Dita] Most of the damage from the flying Dread is absorbed by the skirt armor, though Dita scores some damage on one of the treads. In return, a SELJQ tries to shoot her Dread out of the sky like a clay pigeon (Dita react)
[19:48] Specs: PRIME: Would you be mad if a grenade "accidentally" hit you?
[19:48] Shaun: *Dita does a barrel roll, spinning to the side and returning fire with ease.+
[19:48] Fenrir: Alexei: "Absolutely not, then..."
[19:49] Nerdorama09: [Nanoha's] lasers arc arc the SELJQs' cover, blasting into the three of them. The damage isn't terminal for the machines, but it is significant. Two of them pop up over their cover and return a spray of lead at the young girl. Mercenaries, jeez. (Nanoha react)
[19:50] Nerdorama09: [Dita] A barrel roll, and the Dread's armor, are the perfect thing to mitigate the shotgun damage, leaving only mild dents and scratches.
[19:51] Alwalid: *The Axel Fins kick into gear. And if that isn't enough, Nanoha puts up a Round Shield to catch any shells that come too close!+
[19:51] Nerdorama09: A bold-feeling SELJQ pilot circles his machine around behind Reinheit and leaps at PRIME's back, intending to smash the NEXT with a Cerberus blade (react PRIME)
[19:52] Nerdorama09: [Nanoha] A few size S mech-sized shotgun pellets slam into the Round Shield, pushing Nanoha back, but the shield holds.
[19:53] Specs: PRIME grins, getting a newtype flash from his pilot sense. "Aww, that's cute. It thinks it's important." Reinheit quickly 180s, bringing its pile bunker up to catch the mech. "Now, what did we learn about attacking something armed with a KIKU?"+

[20:01] Nerdorama09: [Arika] A combination of the spinning Element and charging over the rather lazy line of fire keeps her safe from the shotgun blast, though the AC dodges out of the way of the charge in a manner not dissimilar to PRIME. "Hey, she's fast."

[20:03] Nerdorama09: With that, the lankier of the two machines dashes out from under the skirt armor and into the main battle, coming out firing an assault rifle at Alexei (react Alexei)

[20:38] Nerdorama09: Meanwhile, under the Armed Fortress, Starka is strafing around to try and get Arika within another shotgun blast. Point-blank, with the current drain on her Robe, such a shot might kill her in one hit. (Arika react and act)

[20:40] Nerdorama09: (If you're in position to move/shoot through the hole in the skirt armor, go for it)
[20:41] Knux: *Breaking away from her initial opponent, Hana shoots towards the large brick of a tank, heading into the hole that was made and slice at the tread. She can't help but wince at the power inside. This was going to be extremely tough...!+
[20:41] Dessa: *Arika knew she had two things to do down here: Stop the red machine, and stop the treads. Obviously, the red machine wanted to stop her, too. She thought fast, and then flew quickly at Starka, aiming herself between it and the treads. Maybe if she could use it to damage the treads... She stayed as close to him as possible, kicking him and hitting him with her Element, never slowing down....
...Or noticing that pieces of her Robe were chipping off.+
[20:43] Alwalid: *Nanoha takes aim at the tread closest to where Starka is. She can barely make it out from her position, but it was worth a try anyways. With Raising Heart at the ready, two cartridges are loaded.
[20:43] Nerdorama09: [Hana] Desu Tsubomi complains mechanically about the spike in radiation, but she's able to get close and hack away at the damaged tread, bringing it close to the breaking point.
[20:43] Alwalid: "Divine Buster Extension...SHOOT!"+
[20:45] Knux: Hana: "Ehhh...!" CHYPrE: "Too close, too close! Hana, we need to pull back-desu!" Hana: "We can't! Not when we're so close!"
[20:45] Nerdorama09: [Arika and Nanoha] Frustrated by Arika's attempts to get close and unable to bring his shotgun to bear, he swipes at the Otome with the blunt side of his KIKU piledriver (Arika react). Meanwhile, he's left with a choice of getting in the way of Nanoha's beamspam and saving the tread, or getting exploded by beamspam. Do Su chooses the latter, strafing out of the way of the beam and letting Nanoha's powered-up attack one-shot a tread.

[20:46] Dessa: *You know the problem at swiping at something small and fast? It's easy to miss. Arika flew up toward the underbelly of the big thing, away from the piledriver.+

[20:48] UltimateSalsa: Chrono lets out a breath. "I can see why you all fly these... This is a whole different experience than flying around and throwing spells." He seems... exhilarated? Dita's probably aware he seems just a bit different than usual.

He disconnects his arm missile launchers, letting them fall to the ground as he takes out his beam daggers. "Sorry Shamir... I wish we could've met under different circumstances." Alexei sends the plan to PRIME, then goes into a dive towards Red Rum, firing more missiles from his back vertical missile launcher. &

[21:04] speximillian: PRIME: I won't let you! *Reinheit can't fly, but it can JUMP GOOD! While Shamir's focused on his partner, it won't notice the pile bunker Shoryuken aiming right between her quadraxis. He plans to jam the long, thick rod right into the Red Rum's thighs.*+

[21:06] Nerdorama09: [Prime] The second prong of the attack takes Shamir off guard, and the Red Rum is spiked. However, she does reflexively fire her shotgun into Wahrheit's face as gravity drags Red Rum elsewhere (react Alexei still)

[21:08] Fenrir: The Wahrheit reels for a moment, Primal Armor shimmering and dampening the blow, but for just a moment as he dives down with PRIME, taking hold of the top of Red Rum. "Then may Algebra die with you..." As he activates his beam daggers, slicing across Red Rum's middle and pulling up to pull Red Rum apart.+

[21:09] Shaun: Dita realized it was all or nothing by this point. Too much was going on, so she brandished the two arm swords before blasting towards Starka, her blade sweeping in a motion that would not only pierce through the machine, but would drive it all the way into the last remaining treads. Her weapons were already glowing a brilliant light, a massive shot readied for this event.&

[21:09] Nerdorama09: [Alexei and PRIME] Wahrheit hasn't looked this ugly in a long time after that point-blank shot, but between the two NEXTs dogpiling it and leaving it unable to dodge, Red Rum doesn't stand a chance. The mech and its pilot are torn apart.
[21:10] Specs: PRIME finishes up as Reinheit and Red Rum plummet to the ground, both Chainguns pointblank. "...don't worry, we'll be sending your partner soon enough."
[21:10] Zappa: *Hixar tries to keep himself hidden as he retrieves the Sniper Rifle. Once he gets it in hand, he'll abandon the trees, leaving the poor SELJQ to hunt for nothing... &
[21:12] Nerdorama09: [Dita] With Starka held in place by Tsumbomi, Do Su can't dodge. He can put his pile driver through the Vandread's shoulder in defense, and it does, but that doesn't prevent Dita from tackling him into the last intact tread (Dita/Chrono continue)
[21:12] Nerdorama09: [Hixar] Fortunately, your unit is meant for stealth, and the SELJQ pilot is freaking out about cloaked enemies. (Continue)
[21:13] Knux: Hana: "Woah!" And Hana pulls back just as Do Su's tackled into the tread!
[21:14] Alwalid: At this point Nanoha's pretty worried about what's going on between those treads...
[21:15] Zappa: *Sadalsuud takes flight over the trees and takes shots from the sky at the skirt again, looking to open it up further.+
Hayana: "Particles down, Particles down. Stealth shutting off. Stealth shutting off"
[21:15] UltimateSalsa: *Chrono realizes everything's lit up and ready to fire, and grins. "Game over! Here we go...!" And with a button press the weapons fire, Chrono briefly blinded by bright lights and having no idea what's going on but loving every second. Starka is, of course, at point blank.+
[21:16] Nerdorama09: [Dita/Chrono] There is a terrible, terrible blinding light and explosion. Do Su is mercifully silent before he, his NEXT, and the nearest tread all explode.
[21:17] Nerdorama09: The point blank explosion of Kojima particles isn't really healthy for anyone else under there. In fact, getting out from under the listing fortress sounds like a really great idea (Arika, Hana, and Dita/Chrono all react to exploding shit)
[21:18] Specs: PRIME: ...huh. They took him out without us. Not bad!
[21:18] Nerdorama09: [Hixar] And just to add insult to injury, the remaining tread grinds to a complete halt with another couple of beam shots. Sadalsuud is now exposed in the air, though, and the SELJQ who was hunting it fires probably his last shotgun shell at it (Hixar react)
[21:18] Dessa: Arika paused for a second, looking at the-- well, where the red machine had been, wishing they could've saved the pilot, before quickly flying out from underneath.
[21:19] UltimateSalsa: *"....Explosions are bad. We ought to get out of here!" Chrono throws the thrusters full reverse, his only real concern just dealt with handily.+
[21:19] Shaun: Dita: C'mon you two!
[21:19] Knux: *Hana's arms cross as she flies out, her unit's bracers activating its beam shields as she pulls back, intending on covering herself and anyone behind her.+
[21:20] Zappa: *Sadalsuud's shoulder plates fold over in front of the "Gundam", but he's making evasive effort towards the ground as well. Them plates are important.+
[21:21] Nerdorama09: [Hana, Dita/Chrono, Arika] The three of you make it out from under the now halted fortress! However, the Kojima spike really did a number on the units under there - Desu Tsubomi and the Vandread's armor is started to warp in front, and the former's beam shields are halfway drained as well. Arika's Robe is now seriously tattered and full of holes from absorbing enough harmful particles to microwave a normal human several times over by now.
[21:22] Fenrir: Alexei: "Looks like mission accomplished..."
[21:22] Nerdorama09: [Hixar] The SELJQ misses, and his gun clicks. At this point, the merc starts running.
[21:22] Nerdorama09: The halted Cabracan sits there sadly for a couple seconds...and then begins to open up
[21:23] Knux: Hana: "Ow... ow, that hurts... I... huh?"
[21:23] UltimateSalsa: Chrono: "Did we do- no, no we didn't. What now?"
[21:23] Zappa: ???: "Cabracan reported immobile. Phase 1 completed."
[21:23] Specs: PRIME: ...Well, we stopped it.
[21:23] Nerdorama09: The entier blocky superstructure splits open and launched dozen upon dozens of small flying drones.

[21:24] Nerdorama09: The machines immediately swam out and begin firing lasers at everyone nearby (everyone react)
[21:24] Nerdorama09: The SELJQs, for their part, are calling it a day and retreating inside the opened Fortress
[21:24] Dessa: Arika: Where'd this come from?!
[21:24] UltimateSalsa: Chrono checks the data displays. "Can we even continue like this...? We've taken too much- ack!"
[21:24] Shaun: *Dita instantly shifts the Vandreads weapon pods to over the shoulder, and there's a blinding flash as she fires a massive laser across the sky to hit as many as possible.+
[21:24] Dessa: Arika quickly started flying around to dodge the fire.
[21:25] *** Specs has left the chat.
[21:25] Fenrir: Algebra: "Oh thanks, GA, thank's a hell of a lot for not telling us about THIS shit!" Wahrheit immediately takes evasive action, firing out missiles from his vertical launcher to target the drones. He fires about 2 salvos, but suddenly... both of them pop off. "O-Out of ammo?!"
[21:25] Zappa: ???: "Just as reported. Commencing phase two."
*Being a "gundam" it's going to dodge like hell, keeping those shoulder plates faced forward. But it looks like it's just moving further AWAY from the battlefield.+
[21:25] Knux: Hana: "WOAH!" *And the Desu Tsubomi, despite its own damage, begins to fly around, trying not to use the beam shields as much+
[21:25] Alwalid: *Nanoha's quick to react, putting up a Wide Area Protection at the cost of two more cartridges. She isn't as fast as Fate, so there's no way she can dodge all of those...+

[21:26] speximillian: PRIME: And here I thought this was too easy! *PRIME unloads at full speed, flying in between the exploded treads for cover, chainguns and grenade launcher firing when he can get a shot. It's a good thing he conserved ammo.+
[21:27] Nerdorama09: Everyone except Nanoha (whose shields are taking a serious beating anyway), Arika, and that chicken Hixar takes some moderate damage on top of what they've accumulated. However, the counterattacks all cut into the slow drones as they converge - these things were built for quantity, not quality.

[21:28] Knux: Hana: "Geh... too many... we need to clear them out!"
[21:28] Nerdorama09: (Everyone just go to town on the things, they're everywhere)
[21:29] Fenrir: Alexei grits his teeth. "Nanoha, Chrono, Arika... how are you all feeling?"
[21:29] Zappa: *Sadalsuud is not fleeing, but, taking a more advantageous spot, which is, not in the thick of things. One shot at a time, it's aiming and picking off these dozens of grunts.+
[21:29] Dessa: Arika: "I'm fine!"
[21:29] Alwalid: Nanoha: I'll be good for a while longer!
[21:30] UltimateSalsa: Chrono is silent for a moment. Then: "I'm fine, but we're running out of steam here. I don't know that we'll be able to hold form much longer."
[21:30] speximillian: PRIME grits his teeth as ammo reserves run low. "If we can gather them up, we can blow them all away at once with the Assault Armor...the trick is corralling them."
[21:30] Fenrir: Alexei just smiles flying into the group of drones with just his beam daggers. "You're all heart..." And goes to work, slashing at the massive group of enemies with no regard for his own armor. He's a LYNX... he'll make sure he won't get upstaged by drones.
[21:30] Dessa: *To prove this, she started just whacking the drones at high speeds, whatever was closest to her at the moment.+
[21:30] Shaun: Dita nodded. "We should be okay. Let's let them have it!"
[21:31] Knux: CHYPrE: "Hana, we're good for now! Let 'em have it!" Hana: "On it!"
[21:32] Knux: *Summoning the Tsubomi TACT, Hana allows the weapon to gather energy before taking aim and firing one of those large-flower shaped bursts of energy at the drones!+
[21:33] Alwalid: *"Once more, Raising Heart! Divine...BUSTER!!" A quick charge and a spent cartridge later, another beam is let loose on the horde of drones. Nanoha takes the time to sweep the beam slightly, swinging it across any clustered drones like a giant beam sword!+
[21:34] UltimateSalsa: *"Roger that!" First one weapon, then another, and soon the Vandread's lit up once more with the power of laser weaponry to excess, aimed into the crowd. "And... fire!" The lasers rip forward toward an open set of drones, Chrono careful to avoid allies as the spread widens.+
[21:35] Nerdorama09: It takes a lot of effort, guts, and grazing hits. But eventually, the swarm of drones are all routed and destroyed
[21:36] Nerdorama09: Everyone's the worse for wear, and the Kojima particles leaking out aren't really helping. Even the NEXTs are starting to feel it
[21:36] Fenrir: Wahrheit flies over Cabracan, scorched and with its Primal Armor flickering on and off. "I-It's done... That's one hell of a tombstone..."
[21:36] Nerdorama09: However, Cabracan is now more or less topped and a sitting duck
[21:37] speximillian: Reinheit boost to the top of the Cabracan, raising its Kiku in a victory pose as its own Primal armor begins to flicker. "YEAAAAAAAAAH!"
[21:37] Nerdorama09: Which means it's probably going to be destroyed by that swarm of about ten long-range missiles coming in and about to blast everything on the battlefield to smithereens. Everyone's incoming weapon warnings are going crazy, btw

[21:38] Shaun: Dita: Incoming!
[21:38] speximillian: PRIME: ...wait, what's that noise? No.....no no no....
[21:38] Knux: CHYPrE: "Hana, MOVE!" Hana: "MOVING!" *And the Tsubomi's going to go in reverse as far as possible, to get away from those missiles!+
[21:38] Dessa: *Arika looked around at Dita's warning, until she saw the missiles, and did what she does best: dodge the heck out of their paths.+

[21:39] Fenrir: "Y-You're kidding!" Alexei instantly Overd Boosts out of the way, dedicating the last of his Primal Armor just to supply the boost necessary to get out of the way.
[21:39] Zappa: *Hixar starts expending GN particle shots to take out the missiles.+
[21:40] *** Specs has joined the chat.
[21:40] Specs: PRIME simply reacts. Primal armor be damned, all power goes to the Reinheit's OVERD Boost as he bails like a frightened animal.+
[21:40] Alwalid: *Nanoha, already not looking good from the corrosion caused by those Kojima particles, focuses her magic into her Axel Fins and attempts to avoid the missiles. She can't exactly keep tanking shots with her barrier in this state either...+
[21:41] UltimateSalsa: *"Oh, THAT's not fair. Gotta move...!" Chrono tries to get the Vandread out of the way and hopes the missiles aren't too big.+
[21:43] Nerdorama09: Hixar blasts down one of the missiles early, which creates a huge explosion. The rest of the missiles detonate near the ground, blasting the vulnerable Cabracan to Kojima-irradiated pieces and fragging any machine that doesn't dodge fast enough. Which in this case consists pretty much of the Vandread, which gets blasted into its component mechs, the Vanguard part heavily fragged. Chrono's okay, but the Vanguard is a lost cause.
[21:44] Nerdorama09: The area of the battlefield is now a blasted crater with a healthy dusting of Kojima
